Very useless school run by imams, lecturers with three quarter trousers. Nothing seems to work in the north. If you are a Christian you watch your back in Zaria in general, there are areas you enter that's your end. A southerner with over 300 jamb score has less chances of admission than a yobe applicant with 150. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Trump Cuts US Ties With WHO, Claims It Is Under China's Control by LastProphet: 12:22pm On May 30, 2020 |
salford1: Congratulations. You just answered your own questions.
Aslong as African countries lack good leadership, begging for aids from organizations such as the WHO would not end. Nigerian Senators, HORs, governors etc would rather enrich themselves than help less privileged Nigerians. Same as alot of other African countries with corrupt leadership.
A good example below:
Major donor contributors for free HIV and malaria drugs in Nigeria and some other African countries for example includes the WHO, The US Gov through (PEPFAR), World Bank, Unicef etc
However, the budget from Donald Trump's White House last year for 2020 includes a whopping $1.35 billion in cuts to the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and $392 million in cuts to the funds to fight tuberculosis and malaria. This Corona outbreak also gave the US president another opportunity or justification to remove US own contribution to the WHO. Note there are many countries that contribute to the WHOs purse not just the US The WHO Ethiopian president, executives and workers could care less, they would still get paid their fat salary. Let's even say WHO gets disbanded (which is not possible), their staff would simply get absorbed into the UN. Na citizens of poor countries go hear am.
For this, coupled with many other holes plugging by the US gov just tells us that the US can't be bothered to offer good assistance to any disadvantaged or poor countries in the world again. It's now America first which is good for them - Nationalism.
To be honest, I can't even be bothered if Trump gets re-elected in November. It actually favours me as I work in the Energy industry in Canada. Trump loves the energy industry, and he has speedily approved our pipeline that carries oil from Alberta all the way to Texas. It's a win for my Canadian economy. However, not much benefit is Trump's win for poor and shyte hole countries..Goodluck to Nigeria and Africa. So are you saying China should have been allowed to continue with their evil manipulations because of WHO aids? I just think people are happy someone is standing up to the larger evil that China represents even if they lose some foreign aid. It can't always be about money there used to be something called right and wrong we can't be focused on the money all the time. Besides how has WHO helped under the China virus? |

TripleOh7: Actually, Trump's right.
The looting and violence dishonours the memory of the deceased.
And the looters are making things worse for the black man.
They call you a monkey, a thief and a brigand and you go right ahead and prove them right.
So so wrong.
#edited
For those inclined to quote me without comprehension, I am against shooting of any protesters or looters. And the killer cops should face justice.
The part of Trump's speech that I supported has been quoted by me here.
So read to understand. You can already see that the majority of black people can't even understand what you have said? How is this responsible statement a threat I just don't understand? How are looters Americans? |

frog12: tell us more of chinelo and her stay at pencom. There's no DG of pencom that has been clean including the current one Aisha. And besides the allegations you read in newspaper against Chinelo you can add selling of employment to kinsmen which is my own personal experience of her. I know a couple of them personally some former FCMB bank staff Main branch opp NNPC towers. Those that are clean can't hide in Nigeria because they are few. |

festacman: US believes in the rule law I am for the rule of law in AfDB. It's laws empowered Ethics Committee to investigate unethical practices. That Committee sat for 3 months and cleared Adesina. Independent investigation may be fashionable but its not in accordance with AfBD corporate governance. For example, Trump was impeached by House of Rep but the Senate cleared him. He stays cleared because that's the law.
Take your time to read the 16 allegations against him. None was on mismanagement of funds. It was about employment, receiving awards with monetary value and lobbying ECOWAS. One thing Adeshina has shown if nothing else is admirable dexterity at manipulating others. Nothing stops him from manipulating that committee that's what the issue is. You said none of the allegations was about money but what about some of the questionable awards of contracts? There were supplies that were flagged by internal control yet he approved their payment. What about engaging Chinelo Amazu who still faces shameful corrupt charges over her time at pencom of which I'm very very informed? ADB doesn't employ such people how did that happen? I have the actual petition that most have not seen and it's worse than the one you refer to. NL has no way of uploading PDFs otherwise would have put it here. Cronyism is one of the worst form of corruption and he's guilty of that one to start with. Nothing has messed this country up like that and we are here defending it. I insiders in ADB say it's worse than the allegations take it from me |

festacman: This is a fierce battle for the SOUL of AfDB. I hope Africa wins.
Finally the issues of visionless leadership, corruption and poor management of countries' economies have come to haunt Africa. We don't even fully own our bank!
Believe me, if Akinwumi Adesina will survive this storm, two things will help:
1. His personal relationship and rapport with leaders of Germany, France, Japan and Canada well as most African countries. Even after serving under Jonathan, he maintained good relationship with Pres Buhari. He has this intellectual charm. Part of his offence is that he has virtually secured 2nd term unopposed without recourse to almighty United States.
2. The hatred which EU has for the proud narcissistic Donald Trump, the President of United States may help Adesina's case. Nigeria should exploit this to protect our candidate and image as a country.
All these letters will put diplomatic pressure on AfDB Board of Directors but if US garners the support of key non-African shareholders, Akinwumi Adesina will go because Francophone countries will always toe the line drawn by France thereby deflating Africa's resistance. In addition, I don't trust South Africa to protect Nigeria's interest. But does the truth matter? In the long run does it matter if he ran AfDB right or wrong? It doesn't seem to matter to most Nigerians as usual what matters is that our own must not be attacked. And you are among those that clamor for good governance in Nigeria and Africa? The US jailed their own Haliburton thieves but we enthroned our own, but yet you claim the US comes for him because he's not theirs, how do people go to school and still fail to be objective in this part of the world? Sad |

Perhaps if Africans too choose to be a brutal race hoping to conquer the world by force, taking away other people's lands and properties perhaps we would have really developed along such a plain of CONQUERORS enslaving other races. We were very very brutal, ask the igalas if Jukuns were nice, ask Hausas if the invader Uthman Danfodiyo was an ambassador of peace and whether his descendants now rule us here in northern Nigeria or not, the list is endless! I think you should be clear now. None of us were good guys so pls put this lame excuse aside. I'm very very sure this should have cleared your eyes. We have failed and the FIRST thing is to acknowledge it then put our heads together, but as you can see that will never happen with the help of dumb black apologists who will continue to mislead our race down the path of more failure by excusing everything we got wrong |

Except the white man stole our brains as well, then the whole black civilization stories are bullshit.
Natural disasters decimate Western cities but just give it a little time and everything's back to normal and even better. Why can't we say the same for us? My brother there's nothing to argue as far as this topic is concerned, this is a topic that has piqued my interest since over 30 years ago after reading "How Europe underdeveloped Africa," initially bought his ideas as a youth then but with time and more knowledge and experience and exposure and more exposure I saw that that book was just a small story inside a larger drama. It wasn't Europe that underdeveloped Africa, Europeans built big ships to cross the oceans to get here, that means they already had their own development. While our own ancestors were rowing canoes that couldn't cross small rivers. We still have the same mindset today. Didn't you hear a senator of the federal republic recently boasting of "producing 27 children?" This is a speech in year 2020 of a university educated congressman! Are you still wondering why Africa is backward? But this is not to say we don't have some bright minds we do but they are too few and most do not have the emotional intelligence to be strategic and to work with other black minds. White people don't need to prove anything to anybody, their attitude is to break frontiers and they are busy at it. Meanwhile we are here in Africa and we are satisfied with living on this planet without a care about the moon for another 2 million years, my care mostly is how to be a big boy here in poor shithole naija but my age mate is already building the technology that will colonize Mars! Few black people can understand a mind like yours but most if not all whites do. In Africa we don't have big dreams so we justify our existence only by the product of our genitals. Adiola: have u met dezieani one on one I haven't met her one on one but I don't need to because I'm linked to many many that have because we are all suppliers and we know what goes on at each agency. Let me give you an example right now one of the most corrupt agencies in the whole world is the Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA) located at Utako, Abuja. To get 1 supply there it is money for hand back for ground, it is known to all so the head of that place whether he's an imam or a priest he's corrupt as Lucifer. So you see it's very difficult to hide corruption that is why only the powerful do it. Diezani herself can never dare to say she wasn't corrupt she won't dare, why do you think she's running all over the place? But also it doesn't mean she's the most corrupt minister of petroleum far from it. NNPC has and will always have thieves so hers isn't exceptional is the usual run there. Yampotatocarrot: Oh, come on, Sir. I'm not saying she is a fraud, but you saying she "never saw our face" is so wrong.
You mean nobody represented your company, or you sent your quotation to her office online? As long as someone from your office met her office before the contract was awarded, then she "saw your face".
Note that I'm not implying she has done anything wrong, I'm just correcting that statement. No offence intended. My brother if you are into public procurement you would have understood what I meant by "she never saw our face," you see public contracts are advertised in national newspapers and one journal called the "federal tender journal," so it is not only possible to pursue and get a job without seeing the top person, it is actually what s supposed to be if not for our shameful country. A procurement committee is normally setup to evaluate and score received tenders after which the top person (a DG, a Perm Sec, an MD in case of some agencies, an EVC, etc) assents by appending their approval. So if you have a corrupt top person then that final signature is where you will have an issue, a demand will come from that top person directly or indirectly at times through a member of that committee who is a front to the top person. So in any agency where you pick a sizable job without anyone calling you to the side then you DEFINITELY HAVE A DECENT PERSON AT THE TOP. and I do not rely on only my experience but of course I'm linked to plenty contractors and NONE can ever claim to have had anything to do with that woman. Take it from me federal contractors can write you a dossier on who is corrupt. Let me give you another example - Aruma Oteh of SEC when she was DG never saw one, I mean one contractor in her entire tenure. Corruption is impossible to hide. That woman is stellar do your research |
