Careafric:Great!! Now let me see... how far is this complex from Shoprite in Asaba? I am thinking by the time it is completed - if I drop my SUV for repairs at the Auto complex, I can then stop by the Asaba City Mall that houses Shoprite to do some shopping and probably, watch a movie, while my vehicle is being fixed. ![]() |
kuuljay:Enugu does not have the population in terms of numbers, that Lagos has. Just imagine what would happen on Enugu's roads if the population went up, to equal that of Lagos state. You would witness a gridlock of epic proportions. ![]() |
lilfreezy: Funlordmaniac:No mind dem. I would have taken Chimamanda's feminist role seriously, if she was still single and over 35 years of age, with no offspring. |
I have been seeing this Xterra in my dreams for the past 7 days. And each time I see it, it just keeps saying one thing to me - "Buy me, buy me, buy me..." But my heart is set on a 2009 Range Rover Sport. Now, what do I do? ![]() |
midehi2:Yes, but you should also ask yourself, what was the married man doing, by approaching her in the first place? It takes two to tango. If there were no buyers, there would be no sellers of a service or a product or even, an affair! You need to see how some married men pull out all the stops to get single girls into their net! And the kind of lies they tell? That is a story for another day.... It just reminds me of something that happened to one of my neighbours, like dat... |
midehi2: chiedu7:I always laugh when I hear people talking like this. The married man wey dey sleep with other women apart from im wife, nko? The man no get sense? It takes two to tango, please! May other men sleep with the wives of those cheating married men, too! |
DeRay98:So what exactly is the Ministry of Power responsible for, if they are not responsible for any of the things you listed here? The govt should just scrap the entire ministry then, since they cannot be held liable for anything. ![]() |
sweetboiy:Are you under Ikeja Disco, or Eko Disco? ![]() |
Is it just about to be constructed, or has it been fully developed? These are the kind of projects that make sense, which every state govt should embark on. Do you know how many people will be employed in this complex, and how much revenue would accrue to both the people & govt, once it starts operation? Wait first, let me get my calculator... |
simplibaba:And why does this happen? The state govt led by Yahaya Bello has not sat down to map out the right policies, and implement the right actions to keep those children in school. There are other states that faced this problem in the past, but have managed to reverse the ugly trend. ![]() It is time Yahaya Bello puts on his thinking cap, and sits down with educational administrators from different parts of the country, to get ideas and skills on how to tackle the issue. His Commissioners are rather clueless. I cannot point to one that has performed well, since they were sworn in. May God deliver Kogi form this pit of ineptitude. ![]() |
whirlwind7:You are right. The greatest disservice done to people of this generation, was to stop history from being taught in schools. Let us learn from the words of George Santayana.
|
Dongreat:What is that supposed to mean? Is she a child? Or was she appointed as Minister of the Environment to provide comic relief? Why did she throw her integrity to the dogs, by acting out a script given to her by these so-called "powers"? mtcheew |
misterawo:And may you too share in such sorrows, all the remaining days of your life! |
logica:Something doesn't add up..... How can a man who helped the Igbo escape from the north, then turn around to commit atrocities against their officers, during the coup? Or am I missing something, here? |
Dongreat:So, you mean this partial Oyinbo called Amina Mohammed, lied to all Nigerians who had electricity to watch NTA network news that night, about the Ogoni clean up? ![]() |
Dongreat:But how did she clinch that job without a first degree? ![]() |
Ajoke Mohammed, may God continue to support and uphold you. This woman has been through a lot in her life. Hmnn..... ![]() |
Eledan:No mind dem. Just read this excerpt below, and compare it with the tales by moonlight being spun by the guy who claims Fani-Kayode was released by onye Igbo.Victor Babaremilekun Adetokunboh Fani-Kayode (nicknamed "Fani-Power"), Q.C., SAN, CON (1921–1995) was a leading Nigerian politician, aristocrat, nationalist, statesman and lawyer. He was elected Deputy Premier of the Western Region of Nigeria in 1963, and he played a major role in Nigeria's legal history and politics from the late 1940s until 1995..... |
simplibaba:See, it is not a person's ethnic group or his youth, that makes him capable & efficient to run a place. It is a combination of his intellect, will power, insight, ability to successfully execute projects, management skills etc., that come into play, when it comes to managing a state as diverse as Kogi. ![]() I don't know if it is the people that keep voting wrong individuals into power, or if it is just the clueless citizens among them, that keep contesting for governorship. This is a state with so much potential, and so many educated people with foresight. Yet, only the wrong people end up as governors. ![]() Just look at Nassarawa which is next door to Abuja. Their governors may not be the most efficient set of people within their locality, but they have managed to tap into their proximity to Abuja, to develop their area. What has Kogi done with its own proximity to the FCT? I repeat, that state needs divine intervention, I swear! ![]() |
simplibaba:I don talk am before say, the whole of Kogi state needs deliverance. They should invite Dr. Olukoya of MFM or Oyedepo of Winners Chapel to conduct a crusade in all the geographical zones of that state, to get rid of the anti-progress forces that are determined to cripple the place. I mean how can one state have Yahaya Bello as governor and Dino Melaye as senator? Na curse?? |
Too many bloggers in Nigeria use deceitful means to attract traffic to their blogs. 1). They circulate stories that are inaccurate and untrue. 2). They cut-and-paste stories from other blogs, without caring to check how many other sites have done the same thing. I mean, who is going to come to your blog to read the same story, he has read in 15 other blogs? Duh! ![]() 3). They lack originality. Their content is often plagiarized, or simply too pedestrian. Who wants to know how many people are crushing on a particular celebrity, for example? Who cares? ![]() 4). Their sites are not user-friendly, eye-catching enough or easy to navigate. 5). Their sites take too long to load. I mean, who has enough MB to wait for 15 minutes, while your site is still buffering? 6). They carry fake news. Most of them do not even bother to verify their stories, or confirm its authenticity. It reminds me of one clown who was arguing with me on NL, about how Davido bought over the multi-billion naira Emperor Estate, near Shoprite/Novare Mall, in Sangotedo area of Lekki. He had no facts to back it up. He merely copied it from a Snapchat or Instagram post. Person suppose copy with sense, nah! ![]() |
nattyjay:Abi, o! ![]() |
shadechacha:You are addressing the wrong guy. Please read the comment of the poster I responded to, so that you can understand the point I made. |
adrianstylez:Amen! Amen!! and Amen!!! God bless you for this prayer, my brother.
|
Eledan:Why not? Our 'friends' will not stop making a spectacle of themselves. This show promises to be interesting....hehehe! I want to stay on the sidelines, and watch the drama unfold. It promises to be action-packed. Ask Omenka. ![]() |
omenkaLives:Wait, o! Oya, shift for dis mat, make I see space siddon. Me sef, I wan watch this match. ![]() |
nku5:Go back to the beginning of this thread and go through all my comments carefully. You will see all the sources I cited, to back up each point I made. But I know, this task would be too difficult for you to carry out, since you are fixated on FFK's father, and you find it easier to swallow tales by moonlight, that are woven by spin doctors! ![]() Please provide proof to show that Laudate is Eledan, or it would never be well with you in this lifetime and the next! ![]() |
nku5:Hehehehe.... I love this. You are using unclear images from Ademoyega's book to support your fallacy, ba? Did Sardauna fire a gun at his captors or did he arm wrestle them, in this so-called attempt to resist arrest, that you are trying to portray here? For your information, it was Nzeogwu and his men that blew up the gates to Sardauna's house and shelled his residence, before they then got to Sardauna and killed him. They had a lot of fire-power at their disposal, so why did they have to shoot a man who was unarmed? Or did Ademoyega's book tell you that the late Premier of the Northern region, carried arms?Oya, I repeat: "The Sardauna did NOT resist arrest, yet he was killed. His wife Habsetu, did not resist arrest, but she was shot in cold blood. Abubakar Tafawa Balewa and Festus Okotie-Eboh did not resist arrest, but were still shot by Igbo coup plotters. Why? Try to answer each of these questions, without further delays, biko. |

Eledan:Na true word you talk! I should have listened to your advice, earlier. You need to see all the tactics they have deployed to attack me on this thread - from claiming my comments were false (even when relevant supporting documents were cited), to digressing and rambling about the 1976 coup, to whether Anioma people were Igbo and then on to FFK's father. Na wa, o! |
nku5:Nah, all the dribbling and digressing has been done solely by you, on this thread. You have used the Fani-Kayode angle and the 1976 coup, as excuses not to answer my questions. You have refused to see the evidence, I provided. Now, for the umpteenth time, "The Sardauna did NOT resist arrest, yet he was killed. His wife Habsetu, did not resist arrest, but she was shot in cold blood. Abubakar Tafawa Balewa and Festus Okotie-Eboh did not resist arrest, but were still shot by Igbo coup plotters. Why? Try to answer these questions, without digressing again, or clutching at lame straws like the 1976 coup or FFK's father!" I'm still waiting, o!! |
