Has he liberated his own people before attempting to liberate others who did not solicit for his aid? Was that why he liberated (sic) the mid-west region and foisted his own kinsman on the locals?

Well, it might interest you to know that Gowon and his Northern goons , aided by you Yorubas, won the war and imposed their rule over Nigeria anyway. The 4 Regions diappeared and was replaced by 12 states, resource control vanished as did fiscal responsibility and full blown unitary rule.

This goes to show that you Yorubas were not interested on who imposed their rule on who as long as it was your Northern masters that did it.
Erm... point of correction. The 4 regions disappeared technically, when Aguiyi-Ironsi created Decree 34 - the Unitary decree. Check the archives. undecided

UBA my bank, queue management 80 pass mark, customer services 97pass mark, general score 95 percent@ Simplydatmat... follow my Facebook page for lastest entrepreneurial skills just search for Simplydatmat and like us
Which UBA?? shocked UBA Branch on Admiralty Way in Lekki has the worst queues I have ever seen in a bank!! Just go there and you will experience it, live! Even the UBA branch in Festac is just as bad. The queues in the UBA VGC branch are equally hopeless. I once spent 1 hour 43 minutes on the queue in their VGC branch. angry

My last experience at the UBA branch customer service desk in Lekki left a nasty taste in my mouth. I had asked for a bank statement.

For over 3 years after opening the account, I have never received a bank statement - either in error or by mistake. Anyway, that day I insisted I was not going to leave without the statement. She asked for the account name. I told her. Then she said she could not get the details of the account. She gave me one form to fill. I filled it. Then she asked for my BVN. I gave her. sad

After 20 minutes of clicking her keyboard, she still came back to say she could not call up the account details. Haba!! shocked She asked if I had linked my BVN to the account. I said yes. If I had not done that, how would I have made withdrawals from the account?

Anyway, after fiddling some more - she called her colleague. That one came up and finally called up the account details. After 35 minutes, I asked them when the account statement would be given to me. They looked at each other. Then I asked 'if they could send it to my mailbox." The customer service rep then brought out another form and asked me to fill it in. She said that the earlier form I filled, was a request for a print out of my bank statement, and not an e-mail statement. Can you imagine?? After keeping me waiting for over 1 hour?? shocked At this point, I lost my cool and stood up. I issued her a stern warning, that if by close of business the statement was not wired to my e-mail, I would write a strong letter of complaint about their shoddy services to their MD at the Head Office. angry

To cut the long story short, at 6.45p.m the bank statement was finally sent be e-mail. Chai!! shocked

Crownofwealth:
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state has apologized to Urhobo monarchs for an incident that occurred during Vice President Yemi Osinabajo’s visit to the state.
He tendered the apology during the celebration of the 100th birthday anniversary of HRM Ovie Richard Ogbon, the Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom in Ughelli south. The governor said: “I use this occasion to apologise once again to our traditional rulers for what happened during the visit of the vice president to our state, it was most unfortunate that it happened, no matter what, forgive the state and the nation.
“This is a day of joy in Delta state and in our country, Nigeria; I congratulate all of you for this special blessing which can only come from God – for a king who has a lot of burden to carry to live up to a hundred years is very rare to see.
“I believe that every day of your (the celebrant) life, you will continue to press on for the ultimate crown, you must work consistently to ensure that you get the crown of glory on the last day; you are a role model to a lot people, including me.

. You are not a very smart person. The language in that memo is very clear. I sincerely hope that you are not one of those Christians who are foolishly used as willing instruments in furtherance to the islamization agenda. You only need to provide a counter memo signed by the same Islamic Dean of Students Affairs repudiating this. It's just a few days old
And you are not a very intelligent person. Like I asked you earlier, "did you conduct some research on other topics that have written on the same subject before opening your thread?" If you had bothered to do so, you would have realised the truth.

A7:
The authorities of the Umaru Yar’Ádua University, Katsina, have denied discriminating against Christian students in the approval granted a students religious association to operate on its campus.

The Acting Dean of Student Affairs of the University, Sulaiman Kankara, had in January 17 memo informed students of a new guideline for the registration of clubs and associations in the institution. In the circular, Dr. Kankara indicated that participation in clubs and associations, including departmental ones, were strictly optional and that no student should be compelled to pay dues. He also outlawed the formation of tribal and local government associations in the university. But the controversial part of the memo which made the document to go viral was the dean’s pronouncement that the “Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) is the only religious association allowed to operate on campus.”

After the memo was shared on social media, the university came under ferocious attacks from many Nigerians, with some commentators saying the guideline was part of government’s plot to Islamise Nigeria. But when contacted on Sunday morning, Dr. Kankara said that aspect of the guideline was actually targeted at Islamic groups which were beginning to mushroom on campus, creating division among students of the same faith.

The dean said, “Actually there is one misconception in the memo. But the fact of the matter is that in Umaru Yar’Ádua University, there is no association known as Christian Students Association.

“There is one religious association and subsidiary Islamic students associations like the Tijjanniya Students Movement in Nigeria, Academic Forum of Islamic Movement in Nigeria and many associations like that.

“They are Islamic students association. So what we want is to have a single union which will be the mouthpiece of muslim students and that is the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria.[/b

[b]“It has nothing to do with any Christian group because up till now, I have not received any application requesting registration of Christian Students Society. “And once they do that, we are ready to register them.

Even as at last week, we said the two religious group to be recognised by the university will be the Muslim one and one from Christian side.

“Up till now we are to receive any application for the registration of any Christian association in the university from any group.”

So i decided to resume watching king of hearts yesterday,i guess there's been progress. When did Simran start liking roshni again and what happened? Was it just me or did it look like sid and roshni are just pretending and fighting inorder to catch misha red handed?
On the other note, from what i have read here, i guess twist of fate is still a waste of time so i am still on hiatus on that. Young dreams and antara all the way
She started liking Roshni again, when her plan to use Misha to separate Roshni & Sid failed. Roshni eventually discovered that Sid divorced her due to his mum's pressure, in order for her own mum Didi, to be able to get her assets back. sad

Also, Simran felt bad after Sid had no choice but to forcefully get engaged to Misha, who had gone mental & lost her memory, due to an attack by miscreants. How many mothers would be happy to see their son get married to a mentally-challenged girl? On top of that, Roshni & Sid worked hard to get Kritika out of jail, after she was wrongfully accused of Shiv's murder. So Simran realised the error of her ways, and apologised to Roshni. undecided

Finally - yes, you guessed right. cheesy Sid & Roshni put up an act, in order to trick Misha into telling the truth. The schizophrenic Misha fell for it, and got caught. She also confessed her dirty deed of murdering Shiv, Roshni's father. She got arrested in the last episode, and justice got served! Whew!! shocked
