post=66893184]When will Ambod.e demolish Makoko shanties and all shanties across Lagos[/quote]Only God knows. undecided But everyone knows that there are shanties in Lagos. Hopefully, Ambode will find a permanent solution to those shanties soon. However, it is interesting to see that you managed to find a picture of the shanties in Lagos, but when you kept posting pictures about Anambra, you could not find any pictures depicting the shanties in the entire state? huh

[quote author=Ofuzo
:
Let's not worry about ambode and makoko. Let's discuss how onitsha and the rest of igboland will be salvaged by street trading, highway trading, sidewalk trading, residential properties with two, three and four attachments. Trading everywhere and anywhere. This is an igbo disease that MUST be solved. All igbo cities except owerri looks like SHITHOLE That's why I support the okorocha's government in banning keke and all it's other renewal projects. Two major initiatives which was a FIRST in igboland ie the free education system and the urban renewal projects was initiated by okorocha. The man have his other flaws, but history will surely remember him for those two things. Absolutely no doubt about that. I'm very very happy that anambra state is following suit. As a matter of fact, the entire igbo and igbo leaning states should follow suit. That's why I'm very happy to read this good news. Let concentrate on that instead of muddling the issue by bringing up ambode or makoko.

TheUpsetGirl1:
When it comes to romance, Nigerian men are known to be actively engaging. Apart from their culture of carrying the financial burden of relationship with women, they harness every opportunity to appeal to their lovers, be it on social-network sites, in their respective offices, religious organizations, clubs among others.
Now I'm going to list 6 reasons why Nigerian men run from marriage.....

3. Nigeria weddings are expensive
In a country where a man is expected to marry a woman in three different kinds of wedding- Religious, Traditional and Court, the cost of marriage no doubt is something men find very intimidating. Presently the average Nigeria wedding cost something like N700,000 and the it goes upward from that to more unimaginable cost.

4. In search of a ‘working class’
Today, most Nigerian men are in search of a wife capable of sharing financial responsibilities with them. Gone are the days when men marry ‘full-house-wives’, the increasing cost of living has tilted most men in favor of ladies who have a means of livelihood and willing to share with their man, the burden of building a home.
Number 3 - Nigerian weddings don't have to be expensive, if you and your potential spouse can sit down to agree on how to cut costs, prune your wish list and streamline your desires. sad Do a small traditional introduction/engagement in the bride's father's parlour, involving only immediate family members, and not more than 5 people, from the extended family. Remove alcohol or wine & beer, from the drinks list. Serve your guests only rice & chicken. Nothing more. Following day, march into the registry to sign the dotted lines. From there, pack into your husband's house. Wetin remain? shocked

Number 4 - Forget that hype about searching for working class ladies. angry Those working class ladies full banks, telcos and multinationals, but most of them are still 'happily' single, with the Ms. prefix, firmly in front of their names, despite all their efforts to shift it. Many have even joined the senior singles club. So what is the hype about working class ladies? shocked It is just an excuse some guys use to dodge matrimony. Ok, if working class ladies were in such high demand, how come many of them are still single?

Ehe!! About this issue eh?
Male or female , whichever you are, Biko /Kpele /Abeg you win.
I'm a peace loving Nigerian that is inclined to co-exist happily with anyone.

I could slide into her DM for her to "spell out the criteria used to select her" but I prefer not to.
Just as that student, that I used as an example, travelled to Germany for one year industrial training, Barrister Chioma has gone to London today not only for shopping, but also to participate in the commonwealth summit.
For more on the "Rs", you can surf eBay and rent Philip Kotler's (& Keller's) text on Marketing Management.

Lol!! My post wasn't empty, you just decided not to see the agape love propelling every word I wrote. My objective for commenting has not been to find faults or to pick quarrels, but it has been to inform the larger audience as well as to celebrate a worthy smart lady, a Social Media Personality. Hahaha abeg no vex. life is too short . Take it nwayoly!!

Stephanie would still be at the commonwealth summit next year with her team.
She is an elegant lady, a 100yards wife material and everyone is proud of her.

You made mention of her fading out too soon, please do well to follow her matter up.

Goodnight Laudate. See you at the "Top-most Top".
Sorry, I do not celebrate anyone who is an unknown entity, and whose criteria for selection to attend the Commonwealth summit has been shrouded in secrecy. undecided There was no agape love in your words. Buhari said the youths are claiming that they should get "housing, healthcare, education for free." First of all, this statement is myopic. I do not know how many of our youth get housing, healthcare, education for free, in this day and age. shocked

Secondly, all over the world, you would discover that every single country has a population that is made up of the good, the bad and the ugly. sad Their youth are made up of hardworking, focused and educated groups, as well as the hardworking, and active ones, who might be uneducated. Both of them struggle to make a living, going out of their way to offer goods, services, brains, skills and brawn in an honest manner, using fair trade practices to eke out a daily living, in order to put food on their tables and those of their families. undecided

Alongside them are deviants who want something for nothing, who are obsessed with getting rich overnight, and have a false sense of entitlement. angry Thank goodness those in this group, are the minority. They are the touts, area boys, scammers and crooks who form the bulk of criminal gangs, worldwide. They can be found in every state, city, country and ethnic group. undecided

In nations with an active, well-equipped honest police force, their criminality is checked, before it gets out of control. sad In countries with inefficient security agencies, they infiltrate the security network and become partners in crime, with the agencies expected to bring them to book. The end result is an underground network of criminality, that is insidious and perverts the course of justice. angry

Buhari's crime was that he lumped all these different groups together, and failed to distinguish between the good and the bad. He tarred the good, innocent, hardworking ones with the humiliating brush of insults, for the sins of the lazy, criminally-minded ones. For that, he needs to apologise and make amends. sad Don't ask me how such ammends would be made. His spin doctors should be able to come up with something new, to assuage the souls of the millions of honest youth, whose good name and reputation Buhari dragged in the mud with his words, before the international world.

Good Morning Laudate. Hope you slept well?
Well my night was awesome; I almost overslept.
I've got a client to meet by 9:15am so I wouldn't be available to reply (after this one) till 3:30pm.

What Criteria? Lol.
Can anyone own the least evaluated bid and win a contract if they do not tender?
You see my friend, there are loads of opportunities in life, but there are no libraries that catalogue them.

Back then in the university, I remember, there were brainy chaps wandering around streets in search of industrial training placement opportunities, but an average student succeeded in travelling abroad on an International IT student Transfer/Exchange Programme free of charge!! That window is still open, yet only few know about it (inbox me for details).
What made the difference? Though he wasn't the best, but the R's worked in his favour and he represented "Nigerian Undergraduates".
Right place, Right Time, Right info, Right preparation. Everything is not Ima mmadu!!

Her area of concentration, work description, and no of cases filed and won are all perceived selection criteria that the uninitiated can't adopt. Please keep issues within the scope of this discussion and don't be too emotional about things.
The pretty lady showed up and that's the most important thing.

No doubt, our butcher friend works hard at the abattoir , definitely, he would exploit the opportunities that lie abound in that location.

In information gathering across teams, even the last piece of detail can be a game changer. As an active team member, she tried to give her best.

Ehe!! You said you needed facts & figures to support her story.
Ngwa nu!!

She is beautiful, popular not famous, and from a humble background. Lol. The figure
is 8.

In summary, the post isn't about PMB, the system for selection of representatives , or the audience (us), it's about the barrister (and her team).
If you get to know her, you won't stop liking her.
Your post reeks of emptiness. undecided It contains no tangible info or factual answers to the questions posed to you, about your so-called representative called Stephanie. This isnt self hate. Diversity is key. A lot of blacks are so intolerant. If they're not crying that oyibo girls are wearing their hair as braids/dreadlocks, its that they're wearing African prints.
Please, make we hear word jare. What of all the black models she's used in the past?

Stop shaming people who have been sexually harassed and are telling their stories. It takes a lot if courage to do that. And mind you, sexual harassment can happen to virtually anyone.

How will PDP not rush in defence of the fact that Nigerians youths are unproductive when they know that accepting the fact is accepting their 16 years of mismanagement and unprecedented looting in the history of this country.

How will PDP not rush to deny the fact when they know that at the end of the analysis, they will be fond culpable in the docility that plague the youth of this country owing to their fraudulent past.

How wouldn't PDP argue that nigerians youths are not lazy and uneducated knowing fully well that the same youths will be classified if not stigmatised if the youths got to know that what they have been denied of opportunities and benefits as a right.

PDP can only deceive some people but they cannot deceive the majority of the youths who have lived above the politics of emotions and sentiments, the reason why their ignoble activities was cut short and thrown out of power during the last general elections.

It's unfortunate that the same deluded youths whose emotions and sentiments had the better part of, are yet to realise what they were denied of 16 year of bumper harvest, enough to set this country on the path of Technologically advanced nation. Such that the same youth have organised themselves into amplifiers and magnifiers of distorted and contrived information targeted at discrediting the good and people's oriented policies of the present administration of Buhari.

It's on this note I urge the spirited good youths of this country to be immune of PDP and her agents of the contrived manipulations to woo the rest of us into believing that the present administration is not doing enough. We should accept our deficiency and seek to spore above the challenges

Now tell me who is deceiving who when the fact there and PMB is try with his interventionist measures in the form of blocking the importation of rice and other cosmetic goods to allow for food sufficiency and youth productivity, home grown food for school feeding, provisions of loans from Bank of Industry in Nigeria, etc yet many of us are always on the Internet looking for white-collar jobs.

PDP cannot and will never tell us the Truth: So let's face the Reality wake up from our slumber. China does not rise on white-collar but on productivity.
