A man who publicly buried his father is evading arrest?

It's not for me to start looking for the balance sheet of his company, if the authorities have anything against him, either here or in South Africa, they should arrest him and charge him to court. The man is not hiding, everyone in Ozubulu knows where his mansion is.

But if nobody is arresting him or charging him for any offence then people should shut up.

Ozubulu massacre: Perpetrators approached me to participate in attack – Witness tells court

A witness in the trial of the suspects on the August 6, 2017 Ozubulu church massacre has said that he was contacted by the perpetrators but he turned it down.

Four suspects, Great Chinedu Akpunonu (44), Vincent Ike (57), Chukwudi Ugwu (30) and Onyebuchi Mbanefo (46), were arraigned Friday on 24-count charge of murder and attempted murder in Charge No: HN/ 36 C/2017, while three others were said to be at large. The trail commenced on Friday at at Nnewi High Court 3.

One of the witnesses, Chukwujekwu Eze, who hails from Ugwuoka in Nkanu East of Enugu state and who was the second prosecution witness told the court presided over by Justice F.I. Aniukwu, that he met the fourth defendant, a.k.a. Bobby at Okpanka’s place.

Okpanka was said to be a suspect in the massacre who was arrested and granted bail but later absconded.

Eze who was led in evidence by the prosecuting counsel, Jay Jay G.E Ezeuko (SAN) said, “I know two of the defendants Bobby and Obrocho. August 6, 2017 was the day there was massacre in Ozubulu church.

“There is one guy called Okpanka who called me and told me that there is a job they want me to do in Ozubulu at Bishop’s place.

“I asked him the nature of the job, he told me that they were going to Bishop’s place because he was owing some people some money in South Africa about one million dollars or there about. That we should go there shoot, scatter and kill anybody on sight.

“I asked him who owns the job and he told me it was Obrocho. I then asked him how it will be because I want to go back to South Africa as I was deported from South Africa because of my papers.

“When I mentioned it, Okpanka said he would assist me. I told him that I will not because I have problem of money to go back. Okpanka invited me to come the next day for him to explain to me better.

“When I got there the next day, I met Bobby (4th defendant) and two of them explained to me that if I can do the job, their boss Obrocho will take me back to South Africa and give me job. I told me that I will not do such job.

“After the massacre on August 6, I saw Okpanka again and said to him, you have done the job and you have enough money now, can you assist me with any little money and he said no that he gave me job and I refused the job, and there is nothing he can do for me.

“I told him I was going to Bishop since I didn’t have any other person to help me. He told me not to go to Bishop because the Bishop will arrest me and deal with me. I then decided to approach Bishop because of the massacre in the church and for him to take any decision.”

Anambra Police Command has invited Aloysius Ikegwuonu, also known as “Bishop”, the suspected target of the attack on St. Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu.

The Police Public Relations Officer in Anambra state, Nkeiruka Nwode, said Ikwegwuonu is to report to the police station on Friday.

Don't talk like a kid. The man is freely walking around, building churches, roads and structures for the disabled. Has anyone arrested him? Has the authorities both in Nigeria or South Africa declared him a wanted man? How do we even know that the Ozubulu killings got anything to do with him?

So how can I go about believing internet stories about him being some sort of drug baron when nobody anywhere has declared him wanted? It is very wrong to criminalise someone without any hard facts except mere internet rumour

There is no systematic fraud, or unjust enrichment anywhere! When the houses were being built, the owners were clearly told that the land belongs to RCCG, and would never be sold to them. Nobody forced them to build on the land. Nobody held a gun to their heads, to compel them to build on that land. So what are you talking about here?

Even when they decide to leave RCCG, they still have the option of selling their houses to other existing RRCG members, or even getting the church to buy back such houses, in some cases. So what fraud or unjust enrichment are you referring to?

The right thing to do on case like, is for church to develops the land and rent or lease to pastors, asking pastors to developed the land, when there is no guarantee of their ever owning the plot they developed among to systematic fraud, unjust enrichment on part of your Dad GO!

One thing please. The RCCG land is free and it is given to members to build on. To members. So if you're not, then buy from other estates around the camp. In that you can sell your property or land anytime you wish.
I am a worker, and I bought from an estate just a minute walk to the new auditorium. If I build there I have the right to do what I want with it. Rent, sell, lease or even put a Muslim. But on their own property, they say no.
What made the pastor to go and collect free land to build house and you want to leave and later you will come and build your own church on Rccg land. Haba.
The op have said it all, the biggest problem is that many pastors try to rebel when they are moved to other churches especially when they've gotten someone paying constantly to them as pastors of the church.

Accused person was guilty as charged. The presiding judge however aksed the accused to pay N.3m fine in lure of the jail term, adding that the fine must be paid within 24 hours after the judgement was delivered.


He wanted a shortcut outa this country but reverse is the case, .3m fine or 3yrs imprisonment.

the way ppl comment some time is just surprising as if no be lag we all day, I go to marina virtually everyday. From my research this blue line is starting from okomaiko and stop at marina, if this is true then 95% isn't a bad figure. Marina is as good as being done, once they lay 2 more pillars on the water BTW stadium segment and marina all that remain is the tracks, which they have started last week. They work there everyday though not as fast as expected but truth be told. It save to say its 90% completed, I still went to alaba last month so I saw it all

Some years back the place I was working got a rural electrification contract in Bayelsa. The youth didn't let us start work unless we settled them.
Meanwhile the second contract was in Borno state, the government and the people appreciated it so much that we were housed in a government lodge all through our stay.
