Sir pls wat is subsidy. I dont mean to insult u o.

I just want to learn. Good morning
Good morning
So let's say in your community there are few cassava processors but the people there really need garri, the next best thing would be to buy/Import from another village, yeah?

Now the logistics would be added to the selling price, understand?

Now garri would increase from 30naira per cup to 55 naira per cup. Your king sees that the people in his village would not be able to feed well and he says the community funds would be used to make it cheaper by paying 20naira for each cup from that community fund.

So now garri is going to be 35 naira. Not bad, right? Now the problems arise when consumption of garri increases and the community funds that would have been used to make better garri processing plants and good roads are used to subsidize the cost of garri gotten from another community. Don't forget as the consumption increases the community pays more.

Let's add corruption also; the community doesn't buy the garri directly but pays to the traders that buy from another community. Now a trader can bring in garri and get the subsidy money but take it to another community where he/she can sell at a higher price, some would say they brought 5 bags of garri meanwhile they brought 1 thereby costing the community funds that could be used for better things.

Do you understand now?

I’m not a fan on Tinubu, but I’m forced to believe this removal of fuel subsidy is only to favor Dangote and those who will benefit from it. Dangote was never going to operate his refinery with subsidy, otherwise he would go broke.
That said, if you’re among those who voted PBAT, don’t feel guilty he imposed subsidy removal, feel guilty because he did so to favor a single individual.
What are you even saying
'Dangote was never going to operate his refinery with subsidy, otherwise he would go broke.'
Do you even know what subsidy is?

Nigerians are not the only people that come to the UK using Education for them to have a better life.. The Indians do it, The Pakistanis do it, those from other part of Asia and Africa do these things. Why would he open his big mouth to say these things as if its only Nigerians that are doing IT.Why? SavageBoy:
I second this. Let it look like the OP sister is engaged to a military personnel. If it means buying fake engagement ring and possibly using the soldier's pic as her dp, let her do so.

To further make this look very real, let the OP's sister come with her so-called military boyfriend to greet the man in his office on a good day. This way, the girl won't look very vulnerable to the useless prof, as he will respect himself.

If the OP's sister want to cast the man publicly, it may backfire, in the sense that other colleagues of the man may deliberately choose to fail her and make life difficult for her.

That's what happened to the OAU Prof that was caught in the sex for grade scandal that year. Other colleagues of the prof decided to make life miserable for the said masters student.
All these attitude is what gives these randy pigs the effrontery to continue this, if I was to be in her shoes I would fight whatever matter that comes up to the grave(making sure he suffers)

I really can't give the best advice to my 24-year-old sister struggling with the frustrations of a married professor in his late 40s who wants to have a sexual affair with her.

The lecturer handles two different courses, each having a three-credit load and she is afraid of being failed for not complying with his sexual advances.

Having given many excuses for not meeting up for a date and refusing his gifts, tonight I found her crying after talking to him over the phone and it seems he is upset about the whole situation.
Don't listen to people saying the man is above laws or whatever, let her get evidence first and then she should FIRMLY and politely refuse, If he insists let her report to the school authority

The major reason why many of us abroad come back home to marry is that, ]majority of ladies abroad are old, some of us prefer younger women.
With that advanced age comes a lot of baggage, also you find cultural compatibility is also a huge part of marriage.

This is the reason why Indians and middle easterners abroad have the lowest divorce rate, marriage is deeper than just attraction for a marriage to stand the test of time, its advisable to marry someone with similar cultural values.

I have a few friends who have married here abroad but majority still go back to naija to marry just like me, I guess it all depends on how we see things.
Lmao
Your answer is very very funny
You're in USA not Japan, how is the majority of females there old 😂😂😂

Knowingly and unknowingly the world is heading towards what The technology John the Beloved through the inspiration of God prophecied about thousands of years ago..

When you carefully look at what is going on world wide with the Global CBDC launch and all that. Just know and understand that the world is preparing and heading the " Beast system

None of these technologies by themselves are the Mark of the Beast but they demonstrate the technological capabilities to implement what scripture describes. And while technology itself is neither good nor bad - it shows how such technology could be used by those in power to control much of society.

It seems you don't get my point. My point is that justice should also be meted out in Nigeria without minding whether you are big man or not as obtains in foreign lands. A whole Chinese food and drugs council boss convicted and executed for bribery in 2008. Who born you to convict a NAFDAC boss in Nigeria? Those people don't care whether you are a top politician, socialite or whatever. And that's a way of instilling discipline in the society. You and I know Ekweremadu would have been set free in Nigeria. Who is that judge that would do the ruling? Dem never born am

But I remember when a whole Michael Jackson languished in prison until he was finally acquitted of a crime. R. Kelly is currently being held in custody despite being a popular figure. Steven Gerrard might have claimed he fought back in self defence and they won't see that as a serious crime hence his non conviction. But in Nigeria, do you believe any court would have convicted Ekweremadu? Just a phone call from a big man and that would be the end of the case. I remember when the Chinese equivalent of their NAFDAC boss was convicted and executed for accepting bribes from an adulterated milk manufacturing company. These are some of the reasons I believe our country would never match up with those foreign countries
You want to equate r.kelly's numerous sexual assault/paedophilia with Gerard's assault lmao

Fineman2:
My name is John. I am 35 years old. I lost my first wife in 2020, so I remarried in 2021 so that my daughter can grow up with a motherly love.

However, my new wife has made it a point of duty to always maltreat my daughter.

Each time, I want to interfere, she tells me to stay out of it. I know I should stand up for my daughter but I am in love with this woman because she came into my life when I needed someone the most.

I reached out to the family of my late wife last month to allow my daughter to stay with them while I send money for her upkeep, but they refused. They said my daughter cannot grow up without a mother and still grow up without the presence of a father in her life.

I have had several conversations with my wife and I have begged her to accommodate my daughter since she is yet to conceive but she told me to get rid of her from the house.

She practically complains about everything my daughter does. I am unhappy about this but at the moment, I am caught in between the woman I love and my beloved daughter.

Please what should I do?
It would be beyond stupid to send your daughter to live with someone else because of a woman you haven't been married to for up to 3 years smh
