The day he told me he loved me was very memorable for me because I felt the same way. Few days later I told him I loved him too. Due to the distance barrier we could only talk on phone. I'm a very decent lady with good upbringing but because of what I felt for him, I did things I thought I'd never do. One night we had a sex chat that ended in me sending nudes to him. He called me again in the afternoon and I assured him I was going to come.

Towards the end of work on Friday my boss informed me that I had to be at work on Saturday to complete a very important project. Immediately I got the information I sent him a text. I was too tired when I left for home and I planned on calling him...

I called him back and asked if he got my message and he said he didn't. I informed him of the change in plans and he got very furious. He accused me of being indecisive and playing games. He said he had cancelled lots of meetings and spent money preparing for my visit and was disappointed that I didn't take him as seriously as he took me. He ended the call in annoyance and I've not heard from him since. He isn't picking my calls or replying my texts. I've sent him voice messages on WhatsApp apologizing and explaining myself but he hasn't replied..

I really love this guy and I don't want to lose him. He probably thinks I'm lying to him or that I have someone else I'm seeing but that's not the case.

Truly they are calling women golddiggers , but it is so glaring now that they are also after the money and comfort. Some are asking, why can't it be turned around...

May we kuku turn am and be caring for them and they sit in the house. Which is already quite common anyway. They don't really want a 50 50 situation, they want women to care for them completely. I used to think it was 50 50, but nah, most hate the fact that the role men play is to be the major provider. They still want to be men, worshipped and also enjoying as men, but not to do anything for anybody.

Some are saying until i marry, i will spend on my wife.....this is not a new thing in Nigeria. Many do not suddenly become generous after marriage. Over years and long periods in this Nigeria, many of them leave the responsibilities to the wives. Their female children see what is happening, and therefore insist on finding a responsible man that shows how he will be in marriage , even during courtship/relationship. Because that's the only way they can be sure.

Well what can we do. This is how Nigerian men want to treat their women. I guess women just have to stop seeing men as a savior and helper, true lovers with a soft spot for their women, a compassion that will make them say no....we wont allow our women to suffer and sweat like men.
