Jemappelle1: Please I just want to confirm this, before moving forward. I have one year experience in teaching and two years experience as an external auditor, can I use this to claim three years experience given that they are two different occupation but all within the 10 years bracket? Yes, you can. And if yes to the above, which would I include as my primary occupation?
Thanks Since both are at least one year, you can use either of the two. For me, I'd choose the two years experience as it helps more in eligibility assessment. More so, because the 2 years experience falls under NOC 1111, it may come handy in get NOI from Ontario under their Human Capital Priorities Scheme. |

blazetitov: Please I need an urgent advice.
My mother in law wants to assist with a part of POF. In order to reduce documentation, is it advisable she transfers the funds directly to me and I get a gift deed or she sends to my wife, who will in turn transfer to me then get gift deed for her? She can transfer directly to you and do a gift deed. Secondly, am planning to put the funds in t-bills, is it advisable I fix the funds separately or I can merge it with my other investment that will mature next week and fix all together? Either option is fine. But the latter option seems more tidy. |

SchwarzMann: Hallo peeps, I want to invest my POF in Tbills and I'd like to know, should the bank reference letter come after the TBill or before the TBill? After the T-bill. You can also ask the bank to mention the investment in the reference letter. I did same here. |

yodiyokun: Please I need anyone that can offer insight on how best to proceed.
Early this morning we received an email for medical for my mum. She applied for PR on the Parent Sponsorship class. The medical form said she has 30 days to complete medical.
Today also, we received another email saying her VISA is ready and she should send her passport, medical results and police certificate within 15 days from today.
We have been calling all the two clinics that do the medical and also emailed a request for an appointment but the VI one says they are only booking in October. IOM is yet to respond, although I just sent the email like an hour ago.
Please my people, my mama want come Canada ooo and its like she won the lottery, please how can we get a medical appointment with 1- 2 weeks. Any suggestions? I expect IOM to respond positively and schedule your mum for medical within days. But in case they don't respond in time, please send a sibling or a relative to their office, armed with the PPR letter and mum's passport data page and plead your case. I was able to schedule spouse medical within one week by doing same. In my case sef, there was no urgency per se. Is it normal to receive request for VISA and medical the same day. I did my immigration over a decade ago so I don't know the current system. It's not abnormal. I think I have seen people get PPR with remedical request/schedule A request. My point is, if CIC says so, who are we to say otherwise? Congratulations to you and your mum. |

As for what to write, you can indicate that you have been refused a UK visa, mention the date and maybe mention a generic reason like lack of sufficient ties. I did exactly this and got PPR. Good luck |

dayjeee: Good morning team, Please i have two questions i need clarifications on 1. Can i add my NYSC teaching experience to my 2 years experience, making 3years work experience. I have the two years experience in a different sector Yes, you can. Several people have done this and got PR. Search the thread for their PPR scripts. 2. If i have a spouse that has relatives in canada, can i claim points with it if i am the primary applicant?
Thanks If relatives include spouse's brother/sister or half-brother/half-sister, then yes, you can. Check CIC here. |

SonsOfLiverpool: Hi, is there anyway I can prove my employment without getting a letter from HR? For privacy reasons. Privacy reasons may seem flimsy, but yeah, you can. Follow this page 1 guide here. I have payslip, letter of employment, signed job description, confirmation letter (to analyst status) and Salary on my statement of account. In addition, you may get a colleague/line manager attest to your job duties on a plain paper. |

pandora1: Hello Gurus in the house.
I'm confused about the below questions, I know the first one applies to visa refusal of any kind. Does the second question apply to only those who have been removed from a country or sent back by immigration upon arrival? The reason I ask is that I figure my reasons if I choose YES for the first question will also be the same for the second
kindly advice
Has xxxx been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?
Has xxxx ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country? That's correct. Answer YES to both questions. |

sayveetwice: Thanks Chief. One more question.
One more questions house, am I the only one that needs to fill schedule A? Or both my spouse and I?
In the upload section, the place holder that was opened was under my name and not hers.
In the request letter, only my UCI (new) was specified and not hers. I think you should submit the form for yourself only. |

Comoteye: LSRW ( 8,7.5,7,7) , MSc( Awaiting ECA) , More than 3 yrs work experience with an expected CRS score of 445. Any hope of securing ITA this year? Congratulations on your result. To your question on securing ITA this year. Maybe, maybe not. No one here can give a definite answer. Depending on your noc though, you may get a nomination from any of the provinces. Just aside, there is a possibility of getting additional 9 points if you max out on ielts, which would take your CRS to 454... that's something closer than your present score. Perhaps you should consider writing ielts again. |

sayveetwice: Good morning good people. I got schedule A today.
Says it must bear an original signature. That means I must sign it with pen.
How is it done?
Do I print, sign and scan it back to them? Yes. Fill online, print, sign and scan back either through a web form or MyCIC account if there is a placeholder for it. Good luck |

amoskitto: Hello fam Quick question please:
The primary applicant (my wife) has been refused UK visa once on the grounds of insufficient funds, however she can no longer find the visa refusal letter. We have stated in the Personal History form that she has been refused visa; is it a problem if we do not have the refusal letter to upload? Would an LOE suffice?
The refusal letter is not a requirement so you don't need an LOE. Declaring that you have been refused a visa by answering YES to the two visa related statutory questions is sufficient. |
