jagzmoles:sorry dear applicant. The VO acknowledged your job(though no specifics as to type of job), your position as a co director of the company as indicated in your refusal letter and also acknowledged was your over all yearly earnings. However, also looked into were, deposit transactions that perhaps you did not offer enough source of funds or explanation as to purpose of the funds in your financial documents. you may want to address those concerns in a more detailed way in your future applications. best of luck next time thanks |
AmeliaT:Good day, Well, all applicants are examined on individual cases by a(the) VOs, no one is a VO on here, as such you or your partner would get to know if or not you would have had to consider anything less or more for your application. wish your application the best of outcome it merits. Thanks |
Thegamingorca:Hello, Thanks for the input. My error there, PLAB 2 has NO center(s) in London rather two centers in Manchester as rightly stated above. |
Osondubueze:Good day Please kindly visit previous threads, you would find links or email address for paid services.. However, you might want to know that the best response you will get would be an automated response, as visa decisions/outcome are NEVER discussed on telephone/mails, you might be better excising a bit of patience. Thanks |
Shalolo:Open a domiciliary account with any bank, fund it, then you should be able to pay(ensure to ask the bank if you would be able to carry out such transaction and amount when setting up your account). you could decide to create a paga account, I read somewhere on here in previous threads about paga offering such services( mind you, Please, I am not personally aware how this option works and if it does work though) you could ask a friend or family member abroad to help you do the payment. thank you |
Nchabuomo:Please lets avoid spamming. Thank you Sir/Madam. God bless and seasons greeting... |
Nchabuomo: EJIOGBENIMI:-[font=Lucida Sans Unicode]3) If the visa is approved, it'll likely be expired before my exam date, should I notify them before travelling for the exam or I should travel first, then request for an extension, once i land in the UK?. EJIOGBENIMI:-1) Do i need to take any action as per the visa? Question 3 shows that the candidate knows what to do, perhaps how to do it, and probably had some thoughts on doing it and yes it is legal. No one has questioned the legality of that option, but rather possible outcome, cost and the process as compared to other options. Further more, question number 1 shows that the Dr is asking for single most appropriate action to do at this time and in the future to continue and reach the end of the process. As such i have highlighted part of your op as single best option and sincerely agree with you on that. As such i humbly add to your single best option, that (s)he does no further action at this time. Thank you Sir/Ma |
Nchabuomo:I never said you can't extend your visa for retaking a PLAB exams(I said i don't think it falls to a life or death scenario or emergency, further, i stated may not be treated as one or not approved). And yes all visa extension whilst the home office is yet to make a decision you are not illegally resident in the UK, but if the decision goes against the applicant a time frame is given to leave the UK either willingly or forcefully( but again that would be the sole discretion of the UK Home office as to what time frame you are given, and if you are given a less time frame such that you are unable to gather money and purchase a ticket back home or take the exams, you could eventually end up over staying your visit). 2. The user is coming here for PLAB 2, which means that (s)he must have taken IELTS exams and passed which is valid for 2 years, PLAB 1 and passed (which is valid for 3 years). It thus means (s)he could take PLAB 2 anytime within this period in the UK. I would also like to point out that PLAB 2 is taken almost every month in the UK unless last year and this year were exams dates as had to be canceled or postponed until a later time due to the pandemic, thereby causing backlogs of intended candidates who are ripe for this exams. Initially, in the UK had only one center which was in Manchester city were you have GMC and could take PLAB 2, but recently the GMC have added a center in London so as to accommodate more candidates who wish to take the exams. The GMC is particularly aware that due to the pandemic, some candidates have missed out on their intended dates of exams, visa issues and some candidates who had been in the UK already and were running out of visas were given some grace period of extension so as to be able to take the exams and in some cases were given extension to validity of PLAB 1 exams so candidates could complete their process. If the GMC is aware of all these and making strides to see that candidates do not loose money and are able to complete the process, given these points above, I do not see why my colleague would choose an invasive option of approach at this point. As a Dr, he/she understands that for every medical treatment or management a physician is supposed to start with less expensive and non invasive examination and treatment approach. But to premeditate at this premature time an idea of extending a visa to take the PLAB 2 exam is complex to me taking into consideration that the Dr has not even arrived the UK yet and suddenly had the exams postponed when he was supposed to take the exams as such making it a necessary option. Even, though there is shortage of medical workers and the NHS open to IMG, this does not give you a 100% ride through the immigration process. Finally, any category of visa, an immigrant can apply for a visa extension whilst in the UK for a sole purpose(s) best known to him/her and decisions are taken by the UK home office on individual cases. Like you earlier mentioned in every visa application a candidate should try and keep a clean and simple application, that rule applies beyond and perhaps for a visa extension, I don't see on probability of doubt why he/she would want to muddle his/her medical career pathway to the UK with a visa extension not when further process will involve the UK Home office and GMC |
Loyaltysoul:Seasons greetings Please permit me to start on a funny note here, why would you say an income of #550k and disposable income of 100k is an issue?. Are you not happy with the job or pay? like imagine it bought your wife a car and perhaps sorts other bills of concerns for you and your family. so that is not an issue I guess. which leads me to your primary concern. In my opinion these are what you could do 1. You may wish to do as Mr(s) Nchabuomo suggested earlier and back your claims up with receipt of purchase or change of car ownership to show that the aforementioned debit transaction was done for that purpose at that time. However, if the purchase had been done on mutual grounds it means you do not have these to back up and as some applicants have shared on here that the VO did or did not considered such explanations and documents even they had included and explained, as such you may want to have thoughts about this other option. 2. Since your intended purpose of traveling is for vacation purposes, it means there is no compulsory date and time you must travel, hence you may decide to wait for another 3-6 months whilst you continue building your account. Thus, at a later time lets say May/June you may request for your bank statement which will exclude 8th Dec and yet have a bank statement that covers and satisfies you for your visa application at a later month as you would deem appropriate. I hope this was helpful, enjoy your ride and make your lovely gestures to your wife no issues no more. Thanks |
EJIOGBENIMI:congratulations Dr on your journey so far in your career road to the UK. I understand the anxiety and ginger you have at the moment to get through the next hurdle and get closer to being on the NHS pay roll, Thus these are my opinions: Per the visa application? do nothing, wait for a decision, a decision may come such at a later time after your intended date of arrival in the UK, such that, your visa goes on to be valid to the date when you want to take your exams. Per what action you can do, you can only apply for a withdrawal at this time which would mean you don't get a refund of your visa application fee and the visa process is terminated. But the question that begs as to this action is; why would you want such an action and truncate the process that could go for or against you. Chances of getting the visa is 50-50. If you applied for a UKVI visa(i.e one for plab candidates which i am aware of such existence , then the VO would put this into consideration when making a decision on your visa application and as such may deny you the visa if he/she is aware that the exams has been postponed for further dates. However if you had applied for a standard visitor visa(which some candidates also use to come take the exams), then the events of the exams postponement has little or no effect on your application and as such you would get a decision as on the merit of your application. The third option is one I would strongly advise you don't thread. Visa extensions are complex and mostly options for a life or death and emergency cases( taking a Plab 2 exam i do not think falls to a life or death scenario or an emergency case) as such you may not have your visa extended or approved, and if at that time you had overstayed your visit, it would mean that in an event you pass the plab 2, you would have future problems with your immigration status and as such may find it difficult to find a hospital that would be willing to offer you an employment within the UK. Not to mention the cost of visa extension out budgets that of re-applying at a later time and mind you the ONUS of having a visa extension out weights that of obtaining a visa. Single best and appropriate management of your case is to re-assure yourself of the process and do nothing at this time. I understand that in an event you are unable to make it for the exams due to no visa you stand the chance of loosing 835 pounds you had paid for plab 2 , but it is also my understanding and experience that if at a later time you write to GMC on time before your exams date about a visa problem you would get a refund or an option to choose a later date pending when you have a visa, hence most likely your case may not be treated as one needful of visa extension. Thank you, wishing you a happy and prosperous career in the UK in the future |
giselle237:He/she does not have 4 denials Sir/Madam. And previous denials were 2014, 6 years ago, he/she has shown some sort of restrain and not demonstrated desperation in my own opinion, but yes, i could not agree less with you, he/she may want to give it some more time at least for now and perhaps try other countries. |
bukimireal:As understood you are not banned and as such can re-apply anytime not earlier than 3 months before your intended date of arrival or departure to the UK. What you should subtract or add, to be honest will require having a view of your previous refusals in 2014 in addition with the recent refusal + your recent visa application form to have an insight and understanding how you addressed previous concerns and present points that have undermined your visas applications. Thank you |
Nchabuomo:lolz, that escalated pretty fast though...... ain't bloody yet bro/sis... |
Brenda37:Hello, I beg to disagree that having a "300k paying job is not a good tie at all". If that was true, then applicants with lesser income, who had that as only ties in Nigeria would never have a successful application. I would rather say and as often quoted by VOs that the ONUS is on the applicant to demonstrate that his/her application merits the category of visa he/she has applied for. Hence, in the above applicant's case even a higher income job might not be sufficient but, and a lesser income secures him/her a visa. Taking a further look into the refusal letter he/she shared, he/she had a sponsor which the VO acknowledge, compliment that with a 300k plus job and other income as indicated by the VO, is and should be sufficient for his/her travel. |
bukimireal:Dear applicant, Don't let this sour your detty Christmas or a successful and prosperous new year that awaits you and many others looking forward to one. Tomorrow grab yourself a pint of drink, get your dependent bro around and enjoy the festive seasons, after the festive seasons and perhaps and most favorably when covid is much under control and more borders are open for visitors, make applications and travel to your other desired destinations, and if you want to re-apply to the UK do so. In your future application to the UK please, you must try to keep things simple and clean as possible whilst demonstrating that your application circumstances has changed and addressing points that undermined your previous applications and the recent refusal you shared, if you have any question(s) do not hesitate to drop it/them on here BEFORE submission of your documents. Seasons greetings |
bukimireal:Sorry mate for your refusal letter and even more so, sorry for having to go through this a 3rd time. I would like to start by advising you take a look at the 3 refusal letters you have had, and work towards addressing the VOs concerns in areas mentioned, and in areas where you have doubt or unable to correct the VOs concerns you can reach out to Tutu, gisselle, Debbieeee, Justwise or other gurus to guide you. However from your recent refusal, you did not offer sufficient explanation to other regular income that you received as indicated on your financial documents, thus, if in subsequent application you have regular deposits other than you basic income, you may wish to offer some concrete explanation as to source of income. If you married you can back up your application with your marriage certificate and offspring(s) to show some family ties, some evidence of properties if any would be good. Finally, you may wish to visit some other countries, build a travel history before re-applying to the UK. I wish you a success in your next application. Don't give in. Thanks |
beautyuche:good day, 1. I am not sure i understand extensively the complexity of your application process, however here are a few possible way out you may visit any TLS center, explain yourself out, they maybe be in a better situation to help or offer you a walk-in appointment depending on availability. 2. find any complaint contact on the website and lay a complaint and see if that could help resolve the issue. 3. you may want to continue your application on a different browser or device other than the current browser or device you are currently experiencing this issue, whilst clearing your cache and cookies. Disclaimer: other sites/bookmarked pages, signed-in details on your device is likely to be cleared/lost if you decide to clear your cache or cookies. Wish you a successful visa application. Thanks |
beautyuche:you may want to make an early application, not earlier than 3 months to your intended departure or arrival date to the UK, go for the option keep my passport during bio-metrics, so in an event you have any need for your passport while waiting for a decision you can make do with your passport. But hopefully they resume the priority option soon, as nothing equates getting a quick response in a visa application. |
Estarbucks:Good day, Yes, you will have to indicate that in your future visas applications, as failure to do so, maybe interpreted by the VO, as you concealing a fact and cause a refusal or a ban. So please, better you indicate it and state the reason for withdrawal of your application just like you have stated here. thanks |
Lincolnint:Sorry about this, but myself find the explanation a bit complex to digest. However, if you may permit me, this is how i would handle application like yours; If i had a functional and operational business here in Nigeria, this would be my "major source of income", hence i would set out a monthly income from my Nigerian business and pay into a naira savings account from this business and try to keep a correlative disposal income for a certain period so i could use for my application. Now, going further in the application, i would state that i have or receive other regular income; note in such instances you may or may not supply financial statement as this is your "other regular income", if you which you may delineate on that source other source of income later in your application in the "further details section" or on a cover letter. But don't make your business abroad more important to the one here, as the one here would not only be used for your source of income by the VO, but also economic ties to Nigeria. I do encourage you to not give in, address the VO's correct or incorrect concerns and re-apply. Thanks |
Lincolnint:Good day Sir/Madam. Please i am not sure i quite understood your message, are you saying you paid your income/salary in foreign currency? where is your company operational please? Mind you please, some applicants here have had just a single(company's account) and had a successful application, so having the multiple account is no guarantee as to which way your application would go, but perhaps offer the applicant a bit of flexibility in explaining finances during application. |
Lincolnint:? |
feelgoodstuffs:Yes, it is and please permit me to say a must as your passport would be needed and is part of the bio-metrics process. After the bio-metrics you would work-out of the TLS building with your passport until day of collection of your visa, when you would have to re-visit the center with your passport or as would be directed via mail. |
damdee: Debbieeeeeee:It would be logical to say and come to a conclusion that visa renewal applicants are cynically delayed, and perhaps, new applicants are harshly gone through whilst ducking on the simplest error to issue a refusal. |
Saacete1:Sorry for your refusal letter, You may wish to go back a few threads, you would find there similar cases of refusal and gallant advises that were dished out at that time. However, if that would be a bit of further stress, this is what i would advice You may which to run a separate account other than your company's account, where you will pay yourself monthly income at a specific date for a period of six month, whilst doing so you try to have an explainable monthly disposable income that would address your current refusal letter. You should be aware that your monthly income should be such that it correlates with your yearly earnings. I have stated a 6 months period as in most cases a 6 months bank statement is what is required, however, i have also read here where successful applicants submitted for a lesser period. Thank you and wish you a successful application next time. |
[quote author=DFmum post=108727460]Thr truth is, we didn't get any letter explaining reason for refusal or ban as the case may be . But what happens if it was ban? How long before it can be lifted? And idea or suggestions? So sorry for your husband's recent refusal and the uncertainty surrounding your children's application. However, please permit me here to input a bit of my thoughts. As you have stated he was refused in 2015, but without a refusal letter or mail. Whilst it is possible that this might have been the case, it is very likely that other scenario played out, scenario like The agent might have extracted the refusal notice without you or your husband's knowledge to cover up the VO's reasoning and conclusion for a refusal at that time, thus this would have kept you and your husband in the dark until now that some rays of light have begun to shine on the reasons for a refusal and the dark agent's work as at that time. Going further, if you are certain that a note/refusal letter was never issued then, this is what i would advice considering your husband's category of visa(dependent visa) most likely the recent refusal had come with a right to appeal, thus you and your husband may choose to exercise the right to appeal personally or talk to an immigration expert to help do this in which you and your husband would make it known that a reason for refusal was never served as at that time and no prior knowledge of a forged document, which would explain why he probably has put in an application at this time. But if there is no right to appeal, you may wish to write an administrative review in respect to your husband's recent refusal which could earn your husband some sort of reprieve for re-application of visas within the ban period, but likely not. Answering other question "when the ban could be lifted", if as stated in the recent refusal letter, that previous refusal was due to a forged document; that means that your husband is most likely on a 10 years ban which started to count from the day he had received previous refusal letter and as such he has served 5-6 years of the 10 years ban depending on the date and month of recipient of previous refusal in 2015, as such he has 4-5 years left to serve out the ban. Finally, on your children's visas application possible outcome, it is 50-50 thing at this time, which means it could still be successful or denied as their father who would have traveled with them has had his application denied. Thank you |
Okay, thanks for your candid input. okposm: |
Good day Please, I would like to ask, is it a must that a sponsor signs on letter of invite?( as applicable to me, my uncle who is a Brit, has invited me for a visit to the UK-standard visiting visa and as such had sent an electronic copy letter of invite). Note: Attached with the electronic copy of the letter are copies of his P60 and int'l passport. Thanks to all in advance for your candid suggestions and answers |
is Op doing anything illegal? Honestly, this is not a complex issue, Op wanted to know if he can extend his visa while in the UK for the sole purpose of writing PLAB. The answer is yes, you can.
