not only cripple but extract the gain if you are into buying and selling

do you have any other cheap shipper
I don't o. Most the ones I saw have very similar prices. I don't even remember the names again because I gave up.
I was searching not for business but for personal use.

In cases like these extend your buyers protection at AliExpress, let's say 20 days before the item arrival.
If you item arrive you will receive an alert of its arrival, DON'T DELETE IT
Visit nipost.gov.ng and track your package. It will precisely indicate the post office where the item is.
Retrieving your item becomes difficult, if you have incorrect post code number.
Every post office in the world has a post code number, assuming you are living in an area for example Ikeja and it's postcode is 120000 and another post office at Ajah is 120003. And you are living in Ikeja and you mistakenly input 120003. Please your parcel is at Ajah. Check your post code.
I have had this issue before.
Nipost track and trace has stopped working a long time ago. They even told me at Marina GPO to stop using it

What is your tracking number? Was it shipped as ordinary mail or Registered Mail? Let me know. People should stop giving us bad names here

my package is registered. I ordered since June 23rd.
The packages of about 15 other people I've seen complain on AliExpress thread on nairaland are all registered. All almost three months old order.
Don't say "stop giving us bad name"
The people that defend Nigerian organizations all in name of "stop giving us bad name", none of you have hit problem directly that's why.
DON'T BLINDLY DEFEND A BROKEN SYSTEM because of patriotism

I have not been refunded sir. They claimed my package is in my country. That nipost refused to update the tracking information
NIPOST refuses to update certain tracking informations. I have seen people here on nairaland who would get an order with dust all over it, and after a day they would see a long list of new tracking updates. Starting from "arrived at destination" till "delivery attempt failed"

Guys, I once ordered 3 piece of android tablets from China but because I couldn't afford to wait for 35-40 days they normally write, I used chrisvicmall.com and I received my package in about 5 days. It's a private shipping company and their price is about 10USD for less than 1KG. Ship your item to their address on China and give them your address in Nigeria. The delivered to me in Ikorodu Lagos.

Yes , I remembered I bought some tablets much earlier and shipped through may be NIPOST or those very popular courier service. I was later invited to the airport where the items were held. I bribed customs officers to collect then.

Guys, use chrisvicmall.com henceforth. You should receive your items in about 10days. Just make sure you read an understand heir processes on their website.
This one is just promotion. Do you know how much AliExpress is helping small businesses and individuals? Chrisvicmall had prices that would cripple some people. I don't want to go too in depth in that cos it's not like his own is much higher than the competition. But my point is that people go to AliExpress because it's cheap.

Post Covid, global logistics have been experiencing a lot of delays non the less it's best to double check with vendor and also track shipment ,after that use all necessary thread and platforms to flag this new development.
This thing is not covid matter. Orders that werr made August are coming in fast. Everything from early July especially those despatched July 8, if it's important, it won't come.

You didn't tag me as well.

It's not only phone.I also complained march this year and only few commented on my topic and I probably know you were one of them who read my thread and left and now, your complain has arrived.

This is exactly what happens if we don't show concern to people's plight, one day,it will surely be our own turn.

As for my Laptop ordered from China which was indicated shipped but I didn't get it here even after
a month, I messaged the buyer and requested for a refund (PayPal).

I got my money and, bought it in Nigeria never use aliexpress again or order such things online.

What I know is that, since you don't have a business or company on which you are recognized, you can't import else it will be impounded.

But when u have your company registered and you order for such goods especially in bulk,no one will dear touch it except if it's contraband and didn't follow the right protocol.

That being said, always buy from Nigeria except if what you want to buy is less than $20 and what you can afford to loose otherwise, your money will be engulfed like those who play bet9ja and loose.

It's not that your case was ignored or something like that. You know how all these things are. When it happens to one or two persons, it will go as "one of those things that happen". But it's getting very rampant and centralized.

Seriously, this is another bad image for Nigeria.
If aliexpress kept refunding Nigerians for items that have been shipped to their country, then its only a matter of time before they blacklist us.
Honestly...
AliExpress is sha observing. If they don't do it. Sellers would decide to stop shipping to Nigeria.
It's only a matter of time

Hey guys o need help with an order I placed I saw a zip code on Google and placed an order with it
I called the post office today to check with them they told me the zip code is not for them and my order has arrived in Nigeria will I still get the order or I should ask for a refund
I'm confused this is my first order on AE :'
Are you asking how you would know what particular post odfice your order is at? At the PO, they told me thay they don't look at zip code. Instead they Google the address that you filled. When they find it on Google maps they would dispatch it to a post office closest to that address. To know that then use track24. net to track it. You should see the location of the area where your order arrived, looking like NG...something something. When you get that, you can come here and ask where you can find it.
Hopefully this is what you asked. If not all this my talk na wash grin grin grin

I'm not really sure about that because I haven't had to open more than once. But just to be safe, try to make your one dispute valid.

Hello guys, what do I do when a seller keep extending my buyer protection without my permission?

This order is more tha 130 days on transit now. I checked Just 2 days to open dispute, only to receive a mail that the seller has extended purchase protection by 35 days again.
Seller should always ask you before doing that. Ahn ahn. But if you're wondering when you can open dispute, you can open it now. It doesn't matter. As long as the first 90 days has passed. If you open dispute you can also add that seller kept extending BP without consulting you first.

Someone has already answered above my post smiley

I made an order since July 14, but up till now I haven't seen my packages and on my tracking with AliExpress it says oder completed.

Pls how can I open a dispute??
You shouldn't open a dispute now because you would waste the limited number of disputes you can open for that order.
Order would change to complete automatically after sixty days. No need to worry, yet.
For dispute, wait till after 90 days that your Buyer protection is valid for.

I believe phones are being targeted at the customs check to even local PO. I've ordered 5 phones from October last year to date and never got even 1.

I got refunded though, but lost more than $114 from heartbeat for not buying insurance (e pain me ehnnnn).

So am thinking some PO staffs are stealing phones and selling dem outside, most people aren't complaining cos they get refunds but I think questions should be asked why 9 out of 10 items missing are phones.

I've resolved to source for phones locally or buy through Jumia, I no get power for plenty story abeg.
A lot us haven't received phones. But a pouch for the phone I ordered five days after and despatched 10 days after the phone despatched, arrived since August.
Now I'm thinking of what I will use the pouch and do grin

Hello Guys, I ordered for an item on AliExpress 3days ago, payment made but the seller is stalling on confirming payment ...

It's been 2days so far

Should I Wait on till it's 72hours or should I cancel order??
And if I should cancel , Would I get a refund to my bank account??
If it's taking this long to confirm the order, how long would it take to actually ship it out. I'd advice to cancel it. You'd be refunded.
Have you texted seller again to know why?
Technology Market / Re: This Thread Is Only For Aliexpress Shopper by Lemonz(m): 8:47am On Sep 17, 2020
That chrisvicmall guy's conversion rates are out of this world.
490 naira per dollar and 69 naira per yuan
Plus fees oo(which you'd still convert using the same high conversion rate). Nawa.

But then again... It's almost like using AliExpress together with dhl shipping or better.
High price but reliable.

Edit: just checked and he has reduced it to 475 naira per dollar and increased yuan to 71 naira

But isn't it possible to contact AliExpress customer service and ask them to cancel your order and refund you when they haven't despatched it overseas for a very long time.

We are basically saying the same thing. AliExpress should end their own tracking at with "Arrived destination country" not "despatched overseas"
Once they write "arrived destination country" then everyone can see that they have handed it over to NIPOST and packages can be tracked easily.

But if it ends at despatched overseas, there's no proof that they actually shipped the package to Nigeria.
Do you know how many would lose disputes if that happens?
Technology Market / Re: This Thread Is Only For Aliexpress Shopper by Lemonz(m): 6:00pm On Sep 15, 2020
ebby9z:

I think that's where the mess up is coming from. I think it should be the duty of the carrier to update information that they have successfully delivered a package to the destination country o. It's an evidence that they didn't misplace the package enroute.

If the carrier bringing the package drops a package without any documentation and NIPOST says they didn't get it nko?

Or if they misplace a package and couldn't deliver it to the country and then turn around to say that they delivered it.

I don't know sha...but the logistics operation needs better organisation and documentation so lost packages can be easily tracked and defaulting handler can be made to pay.
This AliExpress stuff is not like local logistics o. In case you're comparing it to that.
-carrier brings it - gives documents -nipost collect -carrier goes home and update it
Guy no ooo.
There is a process. The hundreds, if not thousands of orders that arrived have to go through that process. That's why the orders have tracing numbers. So it's easier to sort. If that particular order hasn't been scanned, registered and so on, it WOULD NOT be updated.

Nipost will make Aliexpress start rejecting Naija orders because of their incompetence
It won't get to that level. I believe AliExpress would tolerate it for some time because people are still receiving new orders. And they would also assume covid 19 is the cause of the others not being claimed.
Nigeria has an excuse in their eyes...for now

You are right, in fact there was a time aliexpress was just dashing invalid dispute to everyone, their reasons was that destination country refused to update tracking information
I thought as much.
Asin ehn. It's not making business go well for them and the sellers.
If only there was a time limit to how long they could hold a package then maybe nipost would be eager to get rid of piles

I know. That's what they've been telling me even if I go to their office. But with "Despatched to Overseas" on their tracking page, Nipost still tell some people that their package is on the way to their post office or their city or something.
Moreover, it's the duty of Aliexpress to update their tracking to "arrived destination country" if they have truly brought it in into the country.
The whole thing is messed up.
No no. It's the duty of the destination country to update it. That's false information. Is it that post office staff doesn't even know how it works or what?
