HAS ANYONE TRIED THIS IF YOUR PACKAGE SHOWS ARRIVED AT DESTINATION?
I was recently looking at our Nigerian NIPOST website and the track and trace feature. It says enter international tracking id. I am wondering if anyone has tried using "track domestic items" since the package from AliExpress is now technically no longer international if it is in Nigeria. Just a thought.

That's the link to the domestic tracking site. Input the tracking number in "enter your mail identifier" at the top left corner of the site.
Those who just recently got their packages can try this too let's confirm.
Also those who also have "arrived at destination..." can try it out.

this is one funny seller. Why offer seller shipping method when he's going to use AliExpress. Hope he didn't charge you more than what you'd have been charged if you used AESS?

There are steps to take.
Contact the seller to see if he's active
Pay on alibaba
Read their instructions on how to go about using Ali Baba safely ( Google this)
Don't expect a swift delivery because the world is experiencing something light
Don't be afraid of being scammed because people say it

Please I used the postal code 100001 to place an order for my brother in Lagos and he stays in surulere. Will the package be sent to surulere post office?

I just found out 100001 is the postal code for lagos

To be on the safe side I'd advise you send a "note" to the seller and say you want to change the postal code to 101283. That's for surulere.
Just to avoid any stress

yes you are right... same with mine... i got to the post office at university of lagos and they were like did we call u.. omo i change it for them and i was shouting that even before aliexpress will refund me they want to see proof... and that was how i gave them the tracking number of a shoe i order since February... they check and traced it... where it was in the post office... dust have finished the carton chai... i was like you guys wouldnt update or call or text... they were jus looking like morons and they still billed me 1500 to pick the package.. so if i didn't make move and i was still waiting for them to call me or text me... thats how i will be jonzing

Just imagine. Those guys are truly stupid in a special way...honestly. I can't believe they opened mouth to say "did we call you" So if they leave them they won't call you to take the package. And 1500 is too much of a charge for shoes. Why are Nigerians always trying to spoil life for other Nigerians. They will give you a position to fill in an organization and you'd immediately start acting like they are forcing you to do work. Immediately start cheating others and acting nonchalant.

Cancel. He's not a good seller. Delays like this isn't a good sign.

If nipost site is saying it's in Nigeria then its in Nigeria. Normally if it's not yet in the country then no result would be shown at all.

For instance I am staying in Lagos, Isolo. If you Google "Isolo Lagos zip/postal code" it's going to show you 100261. All you need to do is Google your location(state where you live and town) and add zip/postal code

If that is too broad for you. I would suggest using this site. https://nigeriapostcodes.com it has a list of all zip/postal codes in Nigeria

I don't believe there's the case of going back and forth. As bad as nipost is you can find out if your package is there without heading there. The only and most important problem is the waiting time. If you notice its not everyone that's suffering from slow delivery time. Some are getting theirs less than 3 weeks. While some of course suffer for months. The reason behind this is unknown to me. Anyways. In my situation I'd be patient. If the price difference want so much I would definitely not use AliExpress.
