While filling the address form on AliExpress, Lagos was auto-filled in both the State and the City after selecting the address. But the street address and zip code was correct. So the package was sent to post office farther away in lagos island, Marina.
Would Nipost send it down to the intended PO corresponding to the zip code or what?

Just did my usual round of "hopeful tracking checking" and i saw that one of the orders i placed has arrived. The first order is the most important cos it's a phone. The second is the pouch for the phone. Wish it was the phone that arrived.
But damn...I'm just happy i don't have to wait 120 days

I was messing around with the customer service feature in the app some time ago and saw an option for FIND MY ORDER. I can't confirm what it is right now because i don't have access to the app.
Go over there and see if it works.
I think it requires your order number (not tracking number).
That should be in the confirmation email they sent to you when you made the order.
Hope it works.

Three (3) Carriers were appearing successively at intervals one after the other in this order 4px, cainiao and lastly Singapore post (I believe this might probably be the carrier that was used to eventually despatch my package).

Just in: the status has just been updated to receive item at delivery office


Kai the anxiety was something else! Thank God it is over.

What I've noticed while using AESS is that 4px is the carrier that picks up the item and handles it until they then hand it over to Singapore post to be despatched overseas. That's why you'll see 4px throughout until the point of despatched to overseas. (Dunno is cainiao is even a carrier or they are just showing that its an international delivery)
I might be wrong but I've noticed it in three of my orders.
You've tried though. Since may. But movement is starting.

What comnents? Sure a lot of people might be doing it but I have been on this thread for a very long time and i can say that i haven't seen a person who says he received refund and is not going to pay. People instead come here and ask "how can i send the money back to the seller".
This recent one that happend today, the person who says he had received 6 refunds has also verified that he doesn't keep the money to himself.

I believe you were scammed. Handling fees don't exceed #500. It's been stated by nipost before.

I went to Abuja nipost headquarter to track my phone dat have been on despatched to oversea country since 8th July. The lady told me my package has been in Lagos since 12th August and she doesn't know when dey will despatch it to Abuja.

As far as i know it's Not true. No matter the bank these days atm card is instant. You can get it same day. I got my zenith card on the 20 something is June. I applied for it on a Thursday and was told that server is down that it would be ready the next day which is Friday . That next day i came and they hadn't done it. I waited there for them and they started the process and finished it. I couldn't leave there until it was done because i wanted to use the card to order on AliExpress before Monday.

Just had a chat with an AliExpress customer service agent and in my opinion contacting them about the delayed delivery time wouldn't do any good because they would only tell you what you already know. A section of the chat below >>

Let me give you a free advice when it comes to AliExpress and Xiaomi phones.

Whenever you see "Global ROM" IT means a Chinese Version(Note you won't be able to use some network 4G, MTN especially) that has been opened(It won't come sealed), bootloader unlocked and a Global ROM is installed.

Now here comes the catch some sellers will flash an official ROM some will flash a Fake ROM that if you try updating it bricks.

My current phone is Global ROM.

Take it easy guy. It's not anybody's fault. It clearly States Global ROM. Not Global version.
To make things clearer so you don't spread fear among people that don't know about this. You might start making people think AliExpress is selling fake things. There's a difference between global ROM and global VERSION. Global ROM is the Chinese version with custom rom flashed in it. Global VERSION isn't like that. So please stop going around scaring people and bad mouthing AliExpress sellers.
