Ogeeee111:It's possible he gave you tracking information of an already completed order. Contact the seller I would suggest you use global. cainiao .com (or Google it if I spelt it wrong). If you notice that there is a descrepancy in the order dates (i.e if the very first day of order and the updates following it are wrong) then you can trust that its possible the tracking id is wrong. First of all show the seller this information and wait for a day or two for his GOOD reason or proof to convince you. If he doesn't reply then In that situation do not hesitate to open a dispute. Tell them that the seller doesn't want to reply. When opening a dispute calmly and clearly state every thing. Give every information you have. There can never be too much info. Don't give them the chance to say something is missing. Provide screenshots of tracking information on 17track or global. Cainiao ( don't give them the opportunity to give excuse that they don't trust other sites), screenshot of the messge the seller sent to you, screenshots of the tracking on nipost site. AliExpress cannot deny hard evidence. They only declare a dispute invalid when they believe you've not given enough proof. I would suggest you show your dispute to someone else before sending it to them. You guys can run through it and see if there's anything you can say is "missing". Proof is what would win disputes. This message is for everyone who wants to open a dispute. Don't just say "my order didn't arrive and I want a full refund" something short. Cheers I haven't had to open a dispute before but God knows I'm not even going to let anybody cheat me of my money |
Emily22:Asin ehn. Blaming AliExpress no be the way at all. It's Nigeria |
lavenderjade:Bro have you tried going to ask these guys to check if your product is with them or if they can locate it for you. All these packages that are stuck at despatched to overseas, if they've been stuck there for a very long time, it's possible that its in Nigeria already. There's a guy here that said nipost called him to go and collect his product BUT it was still showing despatched to overseas. They claimed to have been trying to reach him for about a 5 days. When he went there and came back, he decided to check the tracking information once again. He then saw a whole lot of information was updated in that short amount of time. This message really isn't about your package by the way I just want to quote yours ![]() Read what a seller told me below

ceaser:So battery goods are heavily taxed irrespective of price? Don't these guys have a site where people can read about the charges to expect. They cannot just be using their own discretion and cell it tax. |
mctfopt:What about a situation where it's a small item. I single smartphone. Do have experience with that? |
Midex88:True. They are instant. |
mctfopt:Does buying with dhl ALWAYS attract customs problem?? |
As I'm staying in ago-okota in lagos. Which post office am I meant to head to abeg?? |
Ehuatamuigunisi:I don't see anything here should make you think it's about to expire. It's clearly showing 56 days left |
42 days gone for the first order. The wait continues... After all these me and AliExpress no go get business for a long time.
|
Ologunsunny:When was it ordered? |
ebby9z:Less than three weeks and you're tired of waiting? ![]() Hopefully you'll be lucky but if I'm being honest you're looking at another 4weeks + wait This is the same way I was "tired of waiting" and here I am...still waiting...since June 24th |
Adefowowe89:Keep in mind that there's nothing like refund if you do this |
toksade203:What was the last update then?? |
xtremer:What evidence are they saying you failed to provide? |
lavenderjade:I don't believe that's true. |
Yungbliss:You're welcome. I wish I could tell you that there's no need to be afraid. But with the current situation I can't. It's not the problem of being "cheated" it's just that there are too many uncertainties right now. When all these clears up (effects of the corona virus) then it would be a more peaceful experience buying from AliExpress. |
Yungbliss:First and most important thing to bear in mind is the fact that you might have to wait for two months + to get the phone. If you're prepared for that. Then I would advice you not to order from anyhow store you see. Look at the sellers ratings, for me 4.5 and below is bad. Look at how many years the store has been open. 4+ years is good. Read reviews of people that have bought the product. If there are no reviews, open the store and check reviews on other products. That would give you an idea of how reliable the seller is. I would also recommend you check another store that has reviews on that particular product. When you've done all this research which and you are comfortable. Don't buy yet. Contact the seller and see how long he takes to reply your initial message. Ask him how long it would take him to ship it (NOTE once again what I said in the beginning). After checking all these I suggest using a zenith bank card to make the purchase. I also suggest using AliExpress standard shipping because that way you can know where your package is, and you have a greater chance of getting a refund of your money if the phone doesn't come. When (or sometimes IF) the package arrives Nigeria it goes to NIPOST office in lagos before its then sent to the post office closest to your address you filled in AliExpress. Once again REMEMBER its POSSIBLE in this covid period that your phone would take up to 2 months to come. If you're lucky you would get it in less than that. Cheers |
Anybody here have experience with cssbuy? |
papalasun:What are you shipping charges and conversion rate of yuan to naira |
Permission to derail! Guys what's your advice on shipping a smartphone to Nigeria using EMS? Is there risk of customs yawa the same way it is for dhl? |
Darkseid:You reason am na ![]() Airdots of $3. It's like you're begging to be cheated |
can we all get back to complaining about AliExpress now? |
BianoJay:Check your decision very well o. Additional 40k for phone. Instead find an agent and order that phone from taobao |
It's a phone I ordered during the summer sale. The seller has really good ratings and about 4+ years of experience (speed of delivery decreased during this corona shii). Nice seller. I asked other sellers who I ordered with and there's nothing sellers can do about it. Mine said that the courier told her it would be at Nigeria within 50 days (additional 50 days). Crazy stuff. My seller replied me with this message.

Enavie:Guy I think say na my tracking information you post like this o We have the exact same order and tracking dates. Anyways it changed from the normal 07-25 to that message because it has passed 30 days. Calculate that August 22nd and you'd see that they are telling you to wait for another 30 days. 60days in total. It not big something. Just wait as you've been waiting before. I'm sure yours is stuck at despatched to overseas.

tunbosun9:Be sure to get a tracking number |
Meister:Make sense |
Gmajor:What's your budget? |
Gmajor:Redmi 8? I can't allow you buy that ![]() Frankly redmi 7 is better than redmi 8. I do not understand what Xiaomi had in mind when they released that phone. The only upside the redmi 8 has over the 7 is the battery and its USB type C (which isn't too much of a difference). Finish. And redmi 7 has a dope battery too(4000mah). Redmi 8..It's chipset is one of the low end snapdragon chipsets. You can make your research also but trust me. I used a redmi 7 and helped a friend order a redmi 8 in the past. we decided to compare the two. I'm a gamer and the redmi 7 performed well for the budget I had. I suggest making research on the newly released redmi 9. But please don't touch the redmi 8 unless it's battery you want |

Departed on the 20th of this month. Hmmm Use global.cainiao.com to track it. Track24 has delayed updates. Not very long delays though. But I don't think your package has arrived at the post office. It's still early If you suspect that its in Nigeria check nipost.gov.ng and use their track and track feature (I doubt it would give any results) Just be patient Hope I was able to help |
