DHL is one of the fastest available on AliExpress.
I haven't used it but i don't think anyone has had to wait for up to 21 days for their DHL shipment. There are others here with experience with dhl.
The problem is that nobody can really tell how they determine customs duty charge.

Guy to be honest there's nobody that you can contact that would help you with any USEFUL information. Sellers and AliExpress can't help. Nipost can't help either since their the culprits. Just wait

You don't need to worry. AliExpress tracking changes to order complete automatically after 60 days. Just ignore it for now. You still have another 30 days in your buyer protection.
I assume your order is showing despatched to overseas... You might still have to wait for that 30 days to finish.
If it hasn't come after that, you can either extend BP some days before it runs out, or open dispute after it runs out.

Yeah i understand that. But it cannot be complete chaos there now. At least some form of orderliness with how they store stuff. So they can know which one has been there for more than a month, three and even half a year.
How can they just completely ignore the old ones because they are "overwhelmed".

I think that is how it's meant to be normally. Before it now updates to arrived at destination or so.
The software they use to track it is very different from all these online one. Yellow and white background. It should be their official stuff i don't know.

I was at the post office to collect a different package and when the woman checked for this particular one she said that she couldn't see any information on it (normally the thing should show insert item into bag like another tracking number i gave her) but it was blank.
She was like don't worry it will come but my guy i go worry

It's AESS. But you know it's not as straightforward as that. This one that FG has okayed reopening schools. And Sure, of course it would come. But the WHEN is the problem. It's not like I'm not going to wait o. But you can't expect me to not have a phone for 3months+ and say "it would come". Lol. I'd rather get the money back, settle for something else and when the phone arrives i sell what i settle for and send the money i get from it to the seller.

I'll extend my buyer protection before it runs out. At least after that, when i open dispute if still doesn't come (maybe that would be about 110 days) they would know I've tried my best.

Keep calling it no matter what it says. Try 8-10 times or more of you really need that call. It's no joke
Check the picture below. And that's just the one my screen can show. God knows how many times they said that number wasn't available.

Hmmm. Thanks for sharing this man. One of these days i will livechat AliExpress customer service and ask the question clearly. Let me see what they would say.
I still find it odd that AliExpress would personally direct us to the seller when it comes to refunds, if they know that they have already paid the seller. Why not just share their own account with us.
UNLESS when we send the money back to the sellerv, the seller would also send AliExpress back their own share. MAYBE.
But it's well.
That's the only thing i can think about.

Edit : Just got an answer on quora from someone who says he works on the "sales floor"(not sure what that means exactly lol) .
But then again its just one person that has answered.

You should know that when you got refunded.. Aliexpress paid you and the seller same amount. Thats why its aliexpress standard shipping... Aliexpress handles it unlike china registered mail and others. So the person you are to chat is aliexpress customer service.. You will pay them.. If you pay the seller. It means she got double money.

I thought that AliExpress standard shipping is protecting the buyers money and not insuring the goods for the seller
If AliExpress pays the seller then why do sellers struggle to avoid paying the buyer if they'd still get paid by AliExpress. I don't see the sense there.

I haven't gotten a refund before but I hear that you won't be refunded the shipping fee. So if there was a shipping fee for that order try deducting it and then see if it makes up for the difference.

Contacting these carriers after the item has been dispatched is not going to bring much positive news. They know just as much as you know about the package. I don't think they can tell you anything aside from what you know from your tracking information. Because that's exactly what they check when you lay a complaint. If it's been despatched, then it's in the hands of the origin country's postal service.
That's how it is for orders made on AliExpress I guess.

While filling the address form on AliExpress, Lagos was auto-filled in both the State and the City after selecting the address. But the street address and zip code was correct. So the package was sent to post office farther away in lagos island, Marina.
Would Nipost send it down to the intended PO corresponding to the zip code or what?
