kolokolobi: I've had a mix bag of them attend to me. On one occasion though after being on admission for 9 days and I bore the rudeness of a particular nurse anytime she was on duty I wrote a thank you letter to the hospital for taking me through the period of my illness. I ended the letter with a vivid description of the unprofessional conduct of this particular nurse making several references which included a particular night I was running a temperature she did not respond to my alarm call only for me to stagger to the ground floor to find her watching Africa magic. At the end of my letter I recommended she be sacked or I will ensure no staff from my organisation used their facility again. I got a call days later from a female who was sobbing on the other end. She identified herself as the mean nurse at the facility and was on the verge of loosing her job cos of my letter. She apologised and pleaded that I wade into the matter as she was a single mum with a kid to fend for. I responded by telling her that she should know better by treating people nicely while doing her job and reminded her of the many incidents while I was on admission and she was on duty. I extracted from her a promise to turn a good leaf if I was in any way going to change my stand. I eventually did not withdraw my letter but got some of my colleges who used that same facility to be on the look out while I called the CMD to give her a chance. Nice one |

Fulaman198: I don't agree, not to be mean to the Bantu countries but it's more of a Bantu thing (hope I'm not sounding racist). You won't see this nonsense in Senegalese, Malian, Nigerien, Chadian, and Burkinabe movies. Or you could say because those countries are Islamic/religious ? |

Pamcrest: Op, u are so on point. I went to visit a colleague who just had her baby and I walked right upon two nurses harassing a young lady in labour. The shouting n insults hurled at her made me cringe....what's more, one nurse was holding a ruler. I walked past in pity for d lass, imagine going thru labour pangs n having to endure such cruel treatment from d very persons who should assist u. Are these nurses not supposed to be care givers? That's so not nice. When I reported to my colleague, she explained that d nurses do that to any woman who whines n cries instead of enduring d labour pains. What!!! Those nurses need retraining, reorientation and strict code of conduct. My humble submission Damnn...how insensitive |

Sports › Gyms In Nigeria ? by lepasharon(op): 4:59pm On Feb 26, 2015 |
Hi Guys, I just need to know about fitness centres/gyms in Nigeria. How popular are they with people over there? How often do people in Nigeria go to a gym if they are registered in one ? What is the distribution and population of gyms in a certain area. How popular is the fitness culture in Nigeria ? I know it's not popular among African women which is why I have a business proposal to target fitness centers to Unfit african women who tend to be more overweight/obese.
This is for an assignment if anyone knows pls help |

Ishilove: First to comment...yaaaay!!

That aside, I feel you bro. I've been in that kind of situation, the only difference was that it was in a cab in Ondo state. Those familiar with Ondo cabs will know that the drivers squeeze 6/7 passengers into a space for four.
So there I was in this cab, on a very hot and sunny day (they don't call Ondo 'The Sunshine State' for nothing) when this Mama, should be in her 60s, raised one aged buttock and let one rip. She now turned to us her co-passengers, smiling and ignoring our shocked and annoyed glares, said cheerfully "e pele o. Ma binu" (trans: pardon me).
And oh, did that motha stink! In the humid and cramped space!!
What could we do? In Africa we respect our elderly citizens so ignoring Mama's infuriatingly cheerful demeanour, someone collected the broken winder from the driver and cranked the windows all the way down. This was after the driver had initially refused to hand it over because according to him, he couldn't find it. However, by the time Mama Agbalagba Nla released the gaseous remnants of her breakfast, nobody told the driver to fish out the missing winder in a jiffy.

YourCoffin: If you got your facts from the bible, moreso from the book of revelation (a piece purely born out of imagination), your postulations looses its credibility.
The only way I'll believe your assertion is if Jesus Christ is exhumed from wherever he was buried and a scientific test conducted on his body to ascertain his skin colour.
I'm too old to swallow this poo again... Jesus is in ''heaven'' so theres no body |
