lacicrips: I want to see a friendly match between this team and the super eagles. So because they've done well now u want them to " pass their boundary " super eagles are far ahead of these babies , only Mikel "s lap in the mid field will cos a big barrier for them and don't forget experience matters a lot , don't quote me , I have not mentioned age here. Let the keep developing till they ripe enough to become champion ... They are presently the under 17 youth champion |
. The eaglet and the Mexican has one thing in common , which is tactical discipline despite the fact that we beat them black and blue in our first Leg I still regard them as one of the tournament favorite cos they are so organized and their ball control was good . I went ahead to make this prediction that we will meet them again in the final which it has come to past .. https://www.nairaland.com/1482266/mexico-v-nigeria-fifa-u-17/23#18955564 The final will be a very tough encounter for the eaglet but still we will cross the hurdle cos we are the best team in this tournament I wish to see these set of boys graduate to the under 21 team and make us proud again ... I think I deserve more likes after a perfect prediction ....congratulations golden Eaglet Congratulations Nigeria

Did anyone listen to what those boys were saying .... So evident that they are kids ! |
Mexican demolish the argentines 3:0 I predicted that the Mexican will play in the finals .it seems it's coming to past . Nigeria vs mexico |

stolen stone: wow!!! Amazing responses! I'll do just that. Thanks fellazStolen stone !come back and share ur experience with us ... I believe someone as proffer a solution to u |
chuksvoice: Between the two strikers we've paraded so in this tournament, Kayode and Awoniyi. Who among the two has impressed you most? For me, i would go for Kayode, the lad has a poacher instinct and scores unbelievable goals. Are u referring to Taiwo Awoniyi , he "s good but , I still believe in Isaac Success scoring ability , he can create chances and as well scorer goals , his combination with iheanacho will give the swidish another nightmare . I heard he will come in from bench .... |
. |
Even FIFA president will congratulate soon ... 2 more matches to go ! eaglet all the way!!! |
I know eaglet will do well ... Also get the support of the fans , our fans are the best in this competition ... |
I have been expecting this comment .... I am not disappointed at all. , hope to hear another one after Sweden match . I want this comment to keep coming till the eaglet carries the cup . |
There is nothing wrong with this list , we still have more friendly matches to play after the qualifier , then Keshi can start introducing the new legs , all these player you guys have mentioned above are very good players but Keshi has a tactic which the Ameobi's and Nwofor and other of the reserved legs can handle .... Take note , Ameobi has been given enough chance to prove himself , this may be his last game for the eagles if he fails ... |
Nigerians won the mexicans by ä clean 6goals to 1,sweden lost to dy same mexicans.#edge[/quote Football is not mathematics .... But Eaglet will carry the day come Tuesday , we have really proof how well we can play and the Swedish will receive the beating they escaped in the group stage .i hope to see the combination of Isaac success , iheanacho , and yahaya in the attack .... We are good to go will the support of other team mates ... Go boys , you remain victorious !!! |
Iheanacho plays football with ease , his build up for that second goal was fanstastic , and awoniy made the clinical finish ! Kudos to the whole team... But Iheancho Bryan kelechi remains our best leg . |
homesteady: Please has this boy played any game in this U-17? - H. MakanjuolaYes , he played against mexico |
pato405: OK man. cheersThe only thing that can cheer's me is Nigeria victory ... Love to see the eaglet carries the day |
pato405: this match starts 7pm and not 5pm. Moderator please edit accordinglyThe mod is correct , on the FIFA website time is 20:00 meaning 8pm dubai time and which is 5pm Nigeria time . |
bizibrain: I tell u dat u dream dat because of fear of Nigeria nt qualifying, though it may and may nt comes 2 reality but it wont affect dere play in calabar. I personally believe Nigeria will qualify because dey went 2ru stress and perspiration 2 win d first leg,if dey av won wit ease as an africa defending champion den I would av doubt dere match in calabar.Nw I no d likes of moses and oduamadi will prepare well because d ethiopia hot racer turn dem 2 real grade A amatuer in addis-abbaba. We dont DESERVE d win @ ethiopia because of d physical and psycological constrain @ dere stadia but just 4 luck and experience we won, dat luck and experience will c us tru in calabar. So I TELL U DAT U JUST AV A NIGHTMERE.you are absolutely correct .... |
WHY IS NFF" ACTING BROKE"...? |
The Mexican are more organized side , despite the fact that we beat them 6goals to 1 I know they will get to the finals i predicted this after watching the whole of the group matches . https://www.nairaland.com/1482266/mexico-v-nigeria-fifa-u-17/23#18955564 |
femi4: How is 6/10 a good defense rating. But they scored 18 goals in 4 matches , this iss an outstanding performance , the best form of defense is attack , let them keep scoring more goals than their counter part @ the end d result will be in our favour ... Lol |
A very high percentage of people that is involved in the round leather ball are uncultured ... You should be loyal to your employer ... |
LEXYCOM: Y am I always happy to see nigeria team lose a match?....even I myself don't have a answer to dat.....I wish Nairaland has a delete icon , I would have lead the clique and vote you out for a life ban ... |
Someone called Theophilus Solomon is not in the team due to Naija politics... Scoring 7 goals in 5 matches for Any Team is not a day job. He will makes it far ahead of these players. Infact Catania of Italy have already Signing him up. He is the future C. Ronaldo. Watching out for this Golden Words of Mine. Marks this date. 30th of October 2013 . Jona-The-Clown Says So. Signed ....Sent From My Android powered IPhone 5
I would have love to take you serious , but your id is something else ... Ur id best suits the jokes section ... Kidding lol |
I know we will demolish the Ethiopians in up coming play off ....and after then the preparations will begin ... I would have love to see the lad in a friendly in the super eagles ....@ least for 20mins , he plays with both legs , but he"s better using is left leg , and his confidence in front of goal post is what matters not the age ..... If we will recall , his goal against Mexico ,that he dribbled 3 defenders shows the kind of intelligent player he"s , cos he walked in the defense of the Mexican before he finally find the net , very clinical finish! I will support if Keshi will introduce @ least one of the young player into his team . |
A former Brazilian footballer was killed and his decapitated head delivered to his widow by suspected drug traffickers in Rio de Janeiro on Monday night, according to ESPN. Joao Rodrigo Silva Santo, 35, who played for Bangu, Olimpia, Nacional and Swedish club Oster during his career, was kidnapped after leaving the local food store he owned in the district of Realengo. The next morning, his wife, an officer with Rio’s Police Pacification Units, found his backpack containing his severed head outside their house, with G1 Globo website reporting his eyes and tongue had been cut out. “He was a good family man. He lived for football and played until recently,” Bruno Santos, a friend of the victim told the site. “He had no enemies.” The UPPS has been cracking down on Rio’s drug gangs ahead of the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics. Earlier this month, over 1,000 police stormed some of Rio’s poorest areas in a bid to regain control back from .... Source punch |
Something seems not to be right about this report : Piara Power, executive director of Football Against Racism in Europe (Fare), told BBC Sport: "In general terms, we welcome the action taken by Uefa. We would have wanted a full stadium ban, but in the end we understand that the evidence for the offence was difficult to find to do that. "Given the fact that Yaya Toure was clearly very upset and did everything one could ask of him, a full stadium ban would have sent out a stronger message, but in the end we have to abide by the legal process." A judgement was passed without full evidence .... |
safarigirl: a 'team' should not be restricted to just 2 people. A real 'team' has various talents. Yahaya is not doing it alone, he has Okon, Obasi, Nwakali, Mohammed, Ezeh and Awoniyi, these guys may not be the goal tigers, but they pull through when necessary. At the African under 17, Success was the golden boy. After our opening game against Mexico, Iheanacho was the man(boy) to watch, after subsequent matches, Yahaya was the star of the team, in the same vein, any one of our strikers could shine another day. I beleive in the boys, Iheanacho and Yahaya scored a goal each in our 4-1 win over Iran, other guys scored the other two. We have a formidable striking force.Yes , you are right , but if you had watched the game against Sweden , after Isaac got injured , the awoniyi guy that was introduced find it difficult to find the back of the net , he wasted so many chances , if not for the never die spirit of the team , they fought tirelessly imagine if there was 't iheanacho in that màtch by now those boys will be in there various classrooms . The same thing did happen against Iran , when iheanacho was removed , the attack went blunt again , yahaya have to burn more energy to put pressure on the Iranian . I ' m not saying other department of the team is bad ,as well as other attackers that we have , but @ this point we need our best legs to give us the desired result , because we are playing against South American , they are always tactical and knows how to do the dirty work to get goals ...my wish has't change , still love to see the combination of iheanacho and success again ,they re excellent player but in the 2previous matches yahaya is more than excellent . Imagine having an excellent combination in the Attack against Uruguay it will safe our defense line a lot of stress . |
Clemmyboy: Ok noted.....bt correct ur english 4 d first line."You gave me a hard tackle " also yours is not typed properly .... Both of us needs correction. ! Lol |
My concern is for 2 of our best player in the team , yahaya can"t do it alone , we need iheanacho and Isaac success if possible It will be a difficult match for the eaglet. But , I believe in the team's individual brilliance ... Wish to see them play Honduras in the semi. |
marcangelo: Nigeria don dey use amateur countries shine, how i wish dey jam countries like Brazil, Spain, Argentina,..etc in dis tournament, den we all knw if dia winnin is a fluke or dey ar rily toff..Did u call the Mexican team and that Sweden amateur? U need to watch their game very well if @ that level they can play this good then I will like to know what amateur means in ur own language ... Nigeria played really well , to put those 2 team behind them in the group stage . Honduras ,Brazil , Mexico , Sweden Nigeria shld beat Iran to join the team in the finals . |
Medicine after death ! Why did u allow the black stars to paint u black in the first place |
