Keshi had good result against the African team , hope to see a better future performance against other international opponents (like the South American and European) , i am glad he has the data to prove that he 's d present best coach ....hope to see more successful outing soon

It 's a brilliant decision , to let them play with the home based super Eagles , but most of them will move to Europe during the January transfer .

Well said Keshi , the only good example of a consistent player both in the club and country is our workaholic and tireless Ogenyi Onazi.and wish he keeps improving ... Every other player should emulate his style .

.

Balotelli is so happy that he 's playing with a good team

Kick of time already

tuta boi: but the cheating was too obvious ....undeserved penalty and controversial free kick. .................well, no medicine after death

What is controversial about that free kick ? He played the ball after the whistle has gone ! Which was very right ... If u really want to win a competition u must put on winning attitude , by taking advantage of ur opponent in any slightest chance u have .more kudos to Obinna Nsofor, for taking that advantage and bringing in what has been missing in the super ....for example Eto is another good player that takes advantage of any slight opportunity and that 's why Mourinho love his style ,also Thierry Henry of France does that too in his days when he was playing active football...

Ogenyi Onazi deserves it ...

Ethiopian team has really proved that they were the bad side and that team should be thoroughly worked on or scrapped !
9 players from the Ethiopian team played in the same club and the whole of the team has been playing together for 5years , yet , perform below average against the Eagles ...

And u called them the better side , pls watch that match again and come up with a better comment .

I prayed that the spirit of the Golden eaglet to come into the super eagles now , we want more of attacking football

Ideye plays better with Emenike ... I hope to watch full attacking football with Musa from the right wing and victor Moses doing his magic .... But Moses should up his game , I'm really not impressed with his last 2perfomance in the team .

I see Vincent Enyeama and Mikel making it to the final 10 , provided Enyeama maintains his present form

Goal keeper
Vincent Enyeama

Defenders
Echiejile
Kenneth Omeruo
Godfrey Oboabona
Efe Ambrose

Midfielders
Ogenyi Onazi
John Mikel Obi
Victor Moses

Attackers
Brown Ideye
Ahmed Musa
Emmanuel Emenike

With is these set of guys in the starting 11 we should have our result in the first half ... Keshi will decide who comes in d second half depending on the quality of display and strength of the Antelopes , but I know they can't survive the first half .

He was a biology teacher back then , it is an habitual thing to talk too much ....

I trust the Keshi , his boys will do the talking come Saturday ...

Keshi this is a big task to handle , but if u believe you can , you will definitely be a champion but ur team must be as rich as d golden eaglet , good starting eleven and a very hyperactive bench ! Then u are good to go !!!

Best way to motivate the boys ... Rubbing shoulders with the likes of messi ,Ronaldo ,Ribbery and all of them ...

Keep the work going guys u can be the best player in the world @ the senior level !!!

.

I see this step in the right direction ... I hope they will keep to the plans and fortified the team for the future .... We need the next under 20 World Cup !

" I know say those boys go move market "

" I know say those boys go move market "speaking in my mothers language...lol

duni04: Isn't it rather ironic that African countries keep winning these youth competitions over and over again and yet have never been able to replicate these victories at the senior level? Same reason why these players fizzle into obscurity shortly after winning these competitions. Its cos they're old! Let's not all forget what Partizan belgrade said about Taribo west's age. The main reason for these youth competitions is to raise and identify future talent and not the trophies. Its a concept Africans are yet to understand. So while the rest of the world continues using these competitions to build future teams that will be successful later on, we can continue winning them with old men that will surely fizzle out in a few years.

I will agree with u to an extent , but playing at the senior level lies on so many factors : some times it"s not d age that is the determining factor , the choice of club at the youth level has a whole lot of role to play in the future of d "born star " also" luck" is another thing to consider . The NFF has a whole lot of work to do if they want to see these set of guys in the coming future , our managerial system of the local league need to be put on check

In order words I am not in support of age cheat but u can see for ur self that these set of boys are at their very tender age don't look at their stature but their attitudes and utterances that alone will give u a slight info about their age ...MRI scan also proves their age ... Congratulations the golden Eaglet !

Anyone in UAE who had the pleasure to see them will tell you that this Nigerian team were the best on offer. Even a few of the Mexican fans were mumbling “yes, yes, yes” when the final whistle went on Nigeria’s glorious campaign here in UAE.

I liked this part :lol

Eaglet and their winning ways , delivered the fourth World Cup to Nigeria : that's from punch Lol

b]Eaglet and their winning ways , delivered the fourth World Cup to Nigeria after a second hard knock on the Mexican !!! Still punch ..lol

Yes!

Princek12: Awoniyi is a gem and is what any striker should aspire to be: shoot when you have clear shot and best opportunity at goal or pass to a team mate who has a better shot at goal.

I am beginning to like his style of play , he plays football with ease ... Very intelligent player ...

naturalwaves: The funniest thing was the day I got 3 newspapers including complete sports, punch and one other one (I think it was Tribue). They only edited their different titles but the body of the news was the same thing for all of them. I initially thought they were all written by the same reporter/ writer, I checked and saw different names on the news report and after the write up, none of them said courtesy of goal.com or curled from goal.com as that particularly news was from goal.com. Just too bad! No wonder Getty images always put it's name on all it's photographs. Vanguard Newspapers is becoming so bad now. They sometimes report fake info, fake scorelines and just copy from online websites, no thorough editing, nothing.

Oh! Do you still buy news papers? I have stopped buying news papers cos most times I find out that I have read the news a day before ....they should step up their model to remain relevant .

.

naturalwaves: The journalism in this country is just too bad, no creativity, nothing. I log on to FIFA website to read sports news, switch to our national dailies and behold, a total copy and paste. The funny thing is that they wouldn't even say courtesy of fifa.com or courtesy of goal.com.SMH. The level of plagiarism is too bad.

Oh! We are in the same category ... They see it as norm to lift articles directly from international media website . Sometimes I don't bother to read cos I will believe it"s "the same story "

I see them as lazy and not been creative .

Walya ibex of Ethiopia go chop am again in calabar (Nigeria 4 : Ethiopia 1).they have option of a fang soup or white soup and pounded yam after the match this will proof to them that we can be very friendly and accommodating off the pitch .

I hope the coach will not cry tomorrow ...cos he has ones shed crocodile tears in South Africa .

Nigeria will win the World Cup again to be the most successful country in the World Cup .

Dabossman. Liked ur write up . But if I will go by your analytical approach to this problem , I will conclude that for a player to feature for the national team at the professional level is a thing of luck and hard work . ... But sometimes the determining factor will be the choice of club .

Godwinsilas ... Your point is very valid too , but presently our local clubs needs overhauling , I think government needs to privatize it and hand it over to the able hands who are business minded and have passion for the game.

naija noni: Mexico has gotten stronger since their opening day 6-1 trashing by nigeria.
So d scoreline in d finals would be half of the group stage scoreline .So nigeria would win by 3-1/2

Mexico did not get stronger ... The Eaglet make them look weak ... You need to watch that game again !
