The government, the influencers and maybe the media have almost forgotten about the ordeals of these people. It's sad, pretty sad that some citizens are kidnapped and kept as hostages in this same country and it appears no one is bothered. I can bet that these terrorists with their victims are still somewhere within this country. Are we really helpless as a nation? |
Thanks for the clarification. But then, majority of us do not really care what the name is, what we want is for the job to be done. Give it to the terrorists as e dey hot quick quick! |
After they lured him into the race with the chieftaincy title that makes him feel annointed, now they want to play the tribal politics. What will they say of Wike then? We await more intrigues as the primary draw closer. |
Untimely death ke? Truth be told, the late monarch lived life to the fullest. 83 years no be beans |
This is animal cruelty. Set the animals free to go and hunt in the forest. Don't be surprised some people are feeding fat on the fund meant to feed these animals. |

Unlike Obasanjo, Adesina's boss promised restructuring and indeed set up a committee to this effect, only to turn around and start singing something entirely different. Like every of his numerous promises, this is also going to be unfulfilled. Adesina should so a self rehearsal. |
Consensus is a fraud, an imposition of some people's selfish opinion, oftentimes unpopular. Most of the times, the consensus candidate is always going to carry heavy baggage and lots of commitments to those forced, threatened or prevailed upon to step down. If you are certain your candidate is a strong contender, present him to the delegates and work hard for his emergence. Don't be lazy to sit down somewhere and be pushing for a fraudulent consensus. Slug it out at the primaries. |
habsydiamond:It's very very likely that the man had died days ago and all the necessary rites performed on him before breaking the news at their convenience. But then, living till 83 and reigning for 57 years is by no means a small feat. The man enjoyed life to the fullest. May he find favor in front of his maker in the hereafter. |
Then it's no more democracy if people have to be threatened this much. These guys are dictators. |
If a player scores hatrick in a game, he goes home with the ball. Now that a team has won a league for ten consecutive seasons, I feel it's right for the league to be renamed after such club as a mark of honor. Ladies and gentlemen, German Bundesliga should be renamed German Bayernsliga. |
Punch cannot event attach a single picture of the said event, not even the affected policemen. In this era where anyone with a camera phone with internet is a potential journalist. |
Someone once asked where all the Yahoo bros in the late 90s and early 2000 have gone to? Have they all given their lives to Christ? |
...and that's the end of his sojourn on earth. I dread this inevitable day. Sometimes I wonder why we have to struggle for power and wealth so much when we will eventually return to the earth emtpy handed. This unnecessary struggle for wealth, Fame and power would have worth it if we will live for ever. May the king find mercy and favor in front of the KING, in the hereafter. |
Revolution2022:Mistakes by doctors and other medics are always lethal but can hardly be contested except where grave negligence was uncovered. May we not be unfortunate in the hands of quacks and half baked 'professionals'. This isn't to take anything aways from the profession. |
Will Nigeria and Nigerians, especially the Southerners ever recover from the effect of this border closure? |
Let him push harder. |
Why do people need to explain and re-explain simple statement? |
Maybe Elrufai wouldn't have had to talk too much if Munguno had done his job very well. All of them are just playing hide and seek, all of them! |
That the president is a Rtd General even makes the security situation more embarrassing. By the way, isn't that the VP seated there? His supporters should never make attempt to separate him from the failures of this government. He is part and parcel of it all. |
Were the duo of father Kukah and the sacked Abuja Imam invited? This is nothing short of jamboree. How many of those seated there are fasting? It's understandable if this was some sort of Sallah celebration but to invite non Muslims for breaking of fast is a waste of government resources. |
It will be very very hard to divorce Osinbajo from Buhari's below par performance. They either succeed or fail together. Any Attempt to paint one as the devil and the other a saint will backfire. |
Ok |
They cannot even wait for the 'big fish.' Or are they preparing the ground to welcome the 'big fish'? |
It will be very hard for him to get the return ticket to the Senate, now that the party's structure is firmly in the hand of his friend turned adversary, incumbent Dapo Abiodun. Is there a particular prestige attached to being a former presidential aspirant? |

So the First Lady is back. Maybe she is on vacation in Nigeria. |
If only he directs this skill positively, he could have been in the news for something praiseworthy. Now see him... |
asto70:Mistake kwa? Please enjoy. |
He has retired Oshio. He perhaps never left APC. Joining PDP may just be for the election. |
