I've always suspected the problem could be pure sabotage. Instead blaming the opposition, I'll rather place the blame on the door step of the government that has all the apparatus to nip this in the bud but failed. Is it the opposition that is also responsible for the wholesale theft of crude? Is it alliens that are responsible for the moribund status of the refineries despite gulping trillions of naira on turn around maintenance? Only a lazy workman blames his tools and everyone around but himself. |
Is he officially a member of any political party? The last time I checked, independent candidacy isn't yet in our constitution. Good luck to him. |
fergie001:Ceded? Just like that? Is that how they share elective positions within themselves? |
owagbeba:Maybe I should have said 'doing well for himself' |
Is there a sabotage somewhere? We need to know how much they usually spend to restore the grid after each collapse. |
Donshegxy10:Well, he is free to aspire for any post as long as he is qualified. But I doubt if the Aregbesola scenario can play out in Ogun. I feel his chances are brighter in Lagos than in Ogun. |
Yayi is doing well politically in Lagos, what's his obsession with Ogun? Well if the Yewa people consider him one of them so much as to represent them in the Senate, then good for them. However it will very difficult but not impossible for him to win a governorship contest in Ogun. They consider him as a 'Tokunbo' |
Good one. But the problem is not just detecting them, after Gov Elrufai recently claimed that the military knows where the bandits are. The problem is the will to take actions on them. |
Ok |
This is one of the reasons the major political parties will be reluctant to micro zone their ticket to the South East. Imagine some people declaring a sit at home on the election day and going ahead to enforce such. |
Well, only those who live in Oyo are at the best position to evaluate Makinde's performance. They are the only people that can determine if what we read about him is audio or not. As for Mr. Sowunmi,I have listened to him a couple of times, like most politicians, he seems to have the solution to all problems with his oratory skill. Well , let him win the party's ticket first. |
I sincerely think the Vice President wouldn't be contesting against Tinubu except the later has been holding forte for him. Also judging from Pastor Adeboye's recent carpeting of this administration of which Osinbajo is number two in the hierarchy, I doubt he will contest. But then 1pm is almost here. |
What if that 'thing' is a toy? |
Now it's obvious that the 'owo mi da' menace will never end in Lagos as it appears to have full government backing. Btw it seems the title 'Alhaji' has been bastardized. |
So he has been a PDP man all along while trying to appear apolitical. Good luck to him. |
Anyone who hasn't worked should morally not be expecting to be paid |
That's great, out problem has not been lack of laws but the implementation. Hope the mechanism for the implementation is also in place. |
As if they can implement it. Why would anyone be paid for a job not done? Do you even the National Library staff are also on strike? |
Na wah o. Does this mode of prayer exist in Islam? How is this different from the pictures of Obas pointing their staff of office at Jonathan. |
This shouldn't be a surprise at all. With the heavyweights that had purchased from across all regions, it will be hard for the party to zone the ticket again. Let them slug it out on the field. |
Don't be surprised if those finally recruited are the highest bidders with strongest connection. |
It is his inalienable right to vie for the topmost job. If not for ethnic and religious sentiments, the number two in this rudderless administration should instead be seeking for our forgiveness instead of our votes. |
If only there's a viable third force. |
I do not know who Hafsat was set out to impress but she should have placed her father's public image side by side with Bello's public rating before making that comparison. If someone outside Abiola's blood has made that comparison, it would have been understandable. |
This is just on security, how about the failure on economy? |
I fear for the safety of this man. This is why I won't exonerate anyone who serves in this government, they are all accomplices for not speaking out. |
In solidarity with this Imam, the faithfuls who worship in that mosque should register their displeasure by worshipping somewhere else, except they approve of his sack. |
The faithfuls who worship in that mosque should also desert it for another mosque in solidarity with the sacked Imam. |
He does not have the sole right to the ticket. |
No one remains the same forever. No one remains on the top spot forever. No champion reings till eternity. I'm sure he knows when to hang the boot |
Bode and Tinubu will most likely carry this enmity to grave, perhaps to the 'stolen' vault. |
