Health › Re: CORONAVIRUS: Kano overtakes FCT with total confirmed cases, records 80 in 24 hrs by LibertyRep: 5:28am On May 01, 2020
Kano is to the North what Lagos is to the South in terms of commerce and population.

If Kano is subdued , I'm scared of what becomes of the North, no matter how much the interstate borders are closed.

Kano needs all the help it should get more to contain the spread.

BTW, Nigeria should have dispatched a plane to Madagascar by now, I heard they've got the cure.

Let them patent it quickly.

Time for the tiny island to shine.

Solutions may not necessarily come from the West at all times.
Politics › Re: Reps Insists On Two-Month Free Electricity For Nigerians by LibertyRep: 5:18am On May 01, 2020
They will just be toying with people's emotion.

Just yesterday, I still heard the jingles of IBEDC warning that there's no free electricity and unmetered customers should come to their office to pick their bills.

If the deal hasn't been finalized, there's no point telling the public so as not to put unnecessary friction between the DISCOs and their customers.
Politics › Re: Billgate Is A Demon, dont Take Any Vaccine From Any Government - Ffk Warns by LibertyRep:
Even though the attempt to quickly pass a bill on vaccination left much to be desired.

But the continuous disparaging of a man who spends his money on charity isn't cool, most especially from persons never recorded to have spent their wealth ( weather ill gotten or not) on helping humanity.

Remind me who funded the fight against polio again?
Politics › Re: Ganduje Asks FG To Relax Lockdown In Kano by LibertyRep:
For real?
PMB should just vex and top-up the lockdown with a week before putting it on auto-renewal.

Nonsense and ingredients.
Travel › Re: Security Stops Vehicles With Passengers Hidden Among Animals In Kaduna (Photos) by LibertyRep: 7:40pm On Apr 30, 2020
With lots porous borders, they'll still find their way to their destinations
Health › Re: COVID-19: We Are Struggling With Bed Spaces In Lagos - NCDC by LibertyRep: 6:30pm On Apr 30, 2020
Then create more bed spaces. Don't we have enough fund donated by foreign bodies and good spirited Nigerians towards this?
After all Uncle Lai said the fund is to fight Coro and not to be given as palliatives to Nigerians

It's on record that the Honorable Minister of Health once boasted we're ready for Coro.
Politics › Re: Sanwo Olu Blames Late Airport Border Closures For Covid-19 Spread- PUNCH by LibertyRep: 6:22pm On Apr 30, 2020
Everyone knows this.

Except those in self denial for whatever reasons.

It's not impossible.
It's hard to trust some of these Chief Executives of states
Politics › Re: Imam Flogged In Bauchi For Violating Social Distancing Rule To Hold Prayer(VIDEO by LibertyRep: 5:14pm On Apr 30, 2020
Isn't that an assault?
Shouldn't he have been charged before a competent court and perhaps made to do community service like seen in other places.
Politics › Re: Why Is No One Talking About 5G Again??? by LibertyRep: 6:05pm On Apr 29, 2020
Probably because the 5G conspiracy was ridiculous ab initio.
Politics › Re: Breaking - Nigeria Records 195 News Cases Of COVID-19, Total Now 1532 by LibertyRep: 5:17am On Apr 29, 2020
195 in a day!
Lord that's massive.
This curve isn't leveling yet .
Politics › Re: See The Official Vehicle Of Kano State Hospital Management Board by LibertyRep: 9:10pm On Apr 28, 2020
This should be posted side by side with the official vehicles of their Governor, Speaker of the State Assembly and the Commissioner for Health in that state.
Politics › Re: When Will FG/CBN Save Nigerians From Micro Finance Loan On This Lockdown by LibertyRep: 9:01pm On Apr 28, 2020
Even the FG through Bank of Industry still request their customers to pay the interest on the loans.

Who do you now want to run to OP?

It's be alright soon OP.
Politics › Re: BREAKING : Ondo Reverses Decision To Return FG Palliative Rice by LibertyRep: 6:23pm On Apr 27, 2020
Wonderful!
The rice had suddenly and magically turned good!

Let them serve it to them first at the government house.

Party affiliation won't let them say the truth.

Politics › Re: Kemi Olunloyo Insists Nnamdi Kanu Is Dead, Gives Evidence by LibertyRep: 9:40am On Apr 27, 2020
What's this rumor, claim and counter claim on the death of anybody?

Same way people were speculating about the death of North Korean leader.

How can a minister say this with a straight face?
Politics › Re: Kaduna Cuts Public Servants Salary By 25% To Fund Support Packages by LibertyRep: 8:41am On Apr 27, 2020
It has started. The civil servants will always be the first casualty in government.
What happens to those politicians and their appointees taking large chunk of the resources?

Selfish private establishment who never wanted to pay salary in the first instance will now escalate it.
Health › Re: Kano Moves To Unravel Cause Of Mass Deaths by LibertyRep: 7:44am On Apr 27, 2020
Verbal autopsy? When even while alive, some people will deliberately lie about their travel history and medical conditions.

Kano should not endanger the rest of the country with this carelessness.

This death has been happening since last week, what stops a responsive government from carrying out autopsy of the dead bodies before burial?
Politics › Re: DSS Storms Residence Of Taiwo Akerele, Former Obaseki’s Chief Of Staff by LibertyRep: 5:58am On Apr 27, 2020
Intimidation and undue use of state resources to settle personal scores shouldn't be encouraged.

..but if you must dine with the devil, ensure you use a long spoon.
...the ex-CoS and the Governor know what's 'doing' the two of them.
Politics › Re: Women Given Yams Were Made To Pose For The Camera (photos) by LibertyRep: 5:54am On Apr 27, 2020
The physical distancing observed by the women makes the story look recent.

Whoever did this to these elderly women is mean and selfish.
Politics › Re: Continue With Hajj Registration, NAHCON Tells Intending Pilgrims by LibertyRep: 5:40am On Apr 27, 2020
Is there any non-fundable fee the intending Pilgrims must pay during registration? If yes, then I suspect the Commission may be after such fee.

Otherwise , with the current global situation one should be able to discern that there's a slim chance the Saudis will open their borders this year for Hajj.
...and even if they do, it'll be with very very strict conditions that Nigerians might not be able to meet easily.

Even without Saudis placing restrictions, Nigeria government should even on it's own halt foreign pilgrimage till next year.
Politics › Re: Ondo Rejects Expired Palliative Rice From FG by LibertyRep: 5:40am On Apr 27, 2020
So truly some of the rice had expired . Oyo has opened the eyes of others.

Who controls NAFDAC again? Why not make the necessary agency certify the rice fit for consumption before giving them out?

This is embarrassing to the FG
Politics › Re: How Boko Haram Sustains Operations Through International Trade In Smoked Fish by LibertyRep:
Like someone asked above, how many tonnes of smoked fish would they have sold to have sustained them this long against armies of three countries?

The leaves of BH dancing on top of the river has the drummer beneath the river.
Politics › Re: It Will Never Be Well With Nigeria Leaders by LibertyRep: 4:44pm On Apr 26, 2020
Some of them think material wealth is all that matters.
If there's live in the hereafter, I pity some of them.
Politics › Re: No Social Distancing: See Crowd That Gathered At Burial Ground In Kano (photos) by LibertyRep: 2:56pm On Apr 26, 2020
It appears those are two different places and the OP was being mischievous.

Regardless, the physical distancing rule wasn't adhered to at the cemetery though.

It's hightime the FG and NCDC did something about Kano before they endanger the rest of the country.

the yorubas are guilty of this
I think this happens everywhere. See I'm always surprised each time I pass by these contractors working on roads and bridges, and are mostly foreigners with foreign companies, I just wonder what our Civil Engineering departments are meant for.

What are our Engineering Graduates both from the Uni and Poly up to?
