This Ooni has the time in this world sha. Definitely because he is in the good book of the Osun government. Emir Sanusi will be envying him now |
LudaChriz:That's just what it is. It isn't 31st yet. Keep fingers crossed until Jan 1st. |
The moment the Deputy Senate President was pictured kneeling to greet the President, I suspected that the legislative arm of the government is annexed. Gbaja should know that no one is prompting him to fight the Executive, but rather provide the checks the constitution guarantees. ...and yes if fighting the executive will make them turn away from anti-democratic tendencies, please do. |
idid:Even if some arrests were made, be sure it might just be for the camera. Let's hope they won't tell us Deji too was acting drama and was 'attacked' by his supporters If the US or any Western Country now classify the country as one in which dissenting voices are muzzled, Uncle Lai and other persons speaking for this regime wont let us rest with rethorics. |
Give a dog a bad name just to hang it. Oshiomole sure has his flaws as a human he is, but he has been a very very decisive Chairman. If not because of the type of Jankara democracy we practice, the Party Chairman should be the one to sanction the President on party matters and not the other way round. |
And here comes the man who once told us the IMN leader was being held in protective custody against the order of the court for his release. As for the designation by the USA, no one is surprised that Uncle Lai and the regime he speaks for blame everyone except themselves. Have they forgotten that the US has an Ambassador in Nigeria plus a host of other sources of information even within the regime. When this regime was busy designating every dissenting organizations as terrorist organizations and carefully chose to call the marauding herdsmen as merely bandits, do they not know the whole world is watching and it has implications. Uncle Lai should blame no imaginary opposition. The pain, if at all, is self inflicted. |
I hope the VP won't upset the famous cabal again with this statement. |
A very very misplaced priority. How can an astute resource manager approve such a huge spending on mere decorations in the midst of hunger in the land. Anambarians should first ask for the details of the lucky company that won the juicy contract. |
The Editorial from Punch really unsettles the supporters of the regime of The President, Major General Buhari (Retired). It is a bold and courageous step and any rant from some sponsored group does not change the obvious. |
Can any Nigerian politician truly bear the 'Pastor' appellation? |
Amosun has always been an ally of Buhari way before exigencies of the politics of 2015 brought Buhari and Tinubu together. This much he banked upon in pushing his annointed candidate for Ogun guber APC and if the decision had been for Buhari only to make, he would have had his way. The trio of Akeredolu, Fayemi and Amosun are up to something in the South West. |
Where is the Nigeria Airline? Where is our National Pride? |
The body of SANs. Punch must have really jolted some of them from their docility into actions. Are the following also members of the body; Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Abubakar Malami, Prof. Sagay, Babatunde Fashola, and Festus Keyamo? The last time I checked, the aforementioned are SANs and are part and parcel of this regime. |
Which Senate? This same Senate of Lawan? Will today be their first meeting after the incidence? If no, then they were only rattled by the ripple effect of the Punch Editorial and are just playing to the gallery. |
I read a letter here during the day confirming that the IGP had approved the deployment of his men for the rally. Confusion in Edo |
Ok |
He would have committed a political suicide should he have fallen for that rerun bait. |
What is more embarrassing than open display of disrespect to the judiciary, the last hope of the common man. ...and what could be more embarrassing than a renowned professor of law still working for a man under whose supervision the court of law was desecrated. We know it isn't easy to talk while eating but the respected prof still has the opportunity to redeem his image before it becomes too late. |
Thank you Punch and all those that voiced against that open desecration of the hallowed courtroom |
If this picture isn't photoshopped, then the new boss hasn't tried at all. Even though Fowler shouldn't have left his picture in the office, the new boss should have at least given the task to someone else. |
The Punching Editorial from The Punch must have struck a nerve. This regime is already jittery of what is to come should other media houses (both local and international) follow the steps of Punch . Kudos to Punch for this unusual bravery. What are they scared of yet. Didn't Femi Adesina argued that Major General is a rank he diligently earned? |
announcement:Someone in the other thread also pointed it out. It is obvious that the decades of military rule has damaged our psyche so much that we think the members of the armed forces are to be feared instead of being respected. The National Orientation Agency has a mountain of job to be done. |
Ok |
Every lie has an expiry date. Anyone who approves of the conduct of the men that desecrated the courtroom should know that tables turn when least expected. As for the men who are calling the shots now, there used to be a certain Marilyn in that service. Where is she now? |
So Pastor Osinbajo too knew that something is awkward about the Sowore's rearrest. He should be brave enough to speak now when his voice matters for the sake of the judiciary. Someday some of them will need the judiciary to save their necks but it might be too late. Save the judiciary now! |
Yeah. Their cases might appear forgotten because they are very likely still 'useful' to the establishment or they don't have ambitions yet that is capable of constituting a threat to the establishment. |
Somehow Atiku and PDP must be blamed. It's alright. Discerning Nigerians know which of the tales flying around is near the truth. |
Until another party takes over Lagos. |
Both Kalu and Orji must have been very terrible for their people to express this magnitude of ill feelings towards them. But then when you realize that they are both senators, representing their people at the Senate then you wonder who actually voted for them. Could it be the same people that daily curse them here in this forum? |
The narrative is about to change. Lauretta story couldn't have come from the moon. It was all part of the plot to change the story. Watch as threads upon threads will be created to reinforce this new direction. Be sure that some amenable news media too will help propagate this. When a story of such magnitude takes more than 24 hours to be addressed, be sure that the spin doctors are at work. |
The OP still does not understand what the issue is. It is no more about what Sowore has done or didn't do in the past. It is about the open desecration of the hallowed courtroom and the continuous, deliberate and unabated disregard for court orders. If Sowore had lied against the ex president in the past, he should be sued for libel and defamation of character as GEJ pleases. It is Yele today, it could be anyone tomorrow. |
