This is not unexpected. The only thing that can save Oshiomole from these wounded politicians is the support from the presidency. Otherwise, it is just a matter of weeks before the brewing crises consumes him. |
One good thing about Karma is that it is always timely and is best served cold. Who would have thought that same Amosun that reversed everything done at the twilight of his predecessor's administration will also make appointments at the the dying minutes of his administration. Hypocrite |
I hope the EFCC has enough evidence to prosecute this case otherwise, they will just only succeed in making him more famous |
Does that mean the lady has no boyfriend or fiancee already.? |
Thses people are never enemies. It is just a matter of clash of interest. I hope their supporters will see it that way. Some idiots just killed and maimed their opponents in Zamfara. |
What profit thou to raise Nigerians' hope and then dash it. Some have not recovered from the heartbreak TSTV brought with the hype. Competition is good for the advatange of the masses but hey, ensure you cross your t's and dot your i's before coming to the public with false hope. |
Our democracy won't grow until party supremacy is adhered to. Whether Oshiomole's tactics are crude and divisive is debatable. The gang up against him seems huge. The Deputy National Chairman couldn't have acted in isolation. If he has truly extorted party members as alleged, then he shouldn't wait to be embarrassed out of office. |
Maybe he is keeping the speech till June 12. Just maybe |
Mr Elbinawi, there is a thin line between this piece and hate speech. Haba! Kilode? Take it easy with the old man now |
His parents were teachers in their active days. It is not unexpected therefore that he will appreciate education and accord due respect to teachers. We are watching closely and we hope you will declare emergency on education in the state to resuscitate the dying sector. God Bless Ogun State. |
The civil servants didn't gather to bid him any goodbye and he knew that much. Good for him that he retreated to his office and averted the last minute embarrassment |
Power is indeed transient. I hope they all learn. The Emperor can now go to the Senate in peace. The new government should eschew vindictiveness, it won't help the state. |
Was this same governor elect not with PMB yesterday? ... and was OGD not at the inauguration lecture of the APC governor elect of his state last week? Only a man knows where his loyalty lies. |
The power companies should stop endangering the lives of their workers by sending them on such errands. If those buildings have been metred, there wouldn't have been any need to cut off their supply. The unfortunate thing is that even after disconnection, these companies will still bring their fraudulent estimated bills for power not consumed. Why won't people be agitated? This isn't in support of any violent act though. |
Sadly and most painfully, they always find willing tools down South and in the Middle Belt Watch as they begin to call Odumakin and Afenifere some unprintable names to appease their masters. |
You cannot grab people's ancestral land and gift it to the herdsmen as colony, ranch or route or whatever nomenclature. The only sane solution is for the herdsmen to be confined into their ancestral home in the North or buy land from willing people down south to practice ranching. The government appears to be protecting and pampering the herders despite the avalanche of atrocities committed by this group |
Ok |
A man who can publicly accuse a GOC of oil theft should be able to name names. Mr Wine, who are the governors? |
...an the reporter cannot add pictures from the scarcely attended program to authenticate the report. |
Sanusi or Soludo? My mind tells me more trouble could be in the offings for the Emir. |
With the #100Billion and the proposed Radio Station, the DSS does not need OBJ to substantiate any allegation again. |
This report is patently false and mischievous. The government is on the other hands hurrying the completion of the construction of road and bridges around that axis. I can't even believe that I will defend Amosun for anything but on this, the OP got it wrong. I was at this axis of Abeokuta Yesterday and some hours ago. The construction workers are working there and it is not uncommon to have a section of the road blocked and traffic diverted in such an instance. |
Arrest, detain and then investigate. Is this the correct order for effective policing? The owner of the privileged vulture should already have an idea of how much her bail will cost |
I have observed that those who are castigating Obasanjo are those who are benefitting or hope to benefit from this government |
Congratulations to the governor. Since some set of new governors will be inaugurated next week. Would it not have been appropriate to have delayed the NGF election or selection till after then? |
I do not think Abike will make such a damning allegation without cogent evidences. Nigeria government should ensure that serious sanctions are meted on the airlines involved. |
Very swift in handling and dealing ruthlessly with unarmed secessionists But lukewarm in dealing with privileged marauding expansionists. |
Ok |
Just last week, a Yoruba group raised alarm of the presence of over a thousand herdsmen's camp in forests in Yoruba land. No one paid attention, the elites who want favour from the Federal government as well as the Kabiyesis have turned blind eyes. When these marauders invaded Chief Olu Falae's farm back then, some Yorubas were even tauting him to the amusement of his tormentors. His sin was because he was pro GEJ. Yoruba land is already surrounded and infiltrated. It may not take a longer time before they strike |
This one don go price market for where him no fit buy. Sorry is his case. Commissioner's Boys go to take am shine well well. |
This same scenario played out in Ogun State in 2011. Coincidentally, the affected workers are also 2000 in number. It is wicked, heartless and sheer insensitivity to disengage workers in that manner, having worked for months without pay! Who would have thought that the same Ogun government that disengaged workers employed by its predecessor will also tow the same line of employing workers at the twilight of its government. |
