If those buildings above are public schools in a state in the North, then the South, especially the SouthWest needs to stop basking in old glories. |
Premium Times appears to be the only news outlet that is interested in investigative journalism. Even if any dirt is found on this man, the presidency has already absolved him of any misdoings. Premium Times should dig deeper to prevent any cover up. The man is a senator and since gun running is a serious crime that has led to the assault on innocent Nigerians, shouldn't the Senate also set up a committee to try Mr. Amosun? |
With the funds at the disposal of Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta and Lagos, these states should be competing with other developed states in the world. What you find are glorified slums with hyper inflated mediocre projects and an army of praise singers. |
Is he listed as a witness already? He knows too well that such 'incontrovertible evidence' would be needed at the tribunal |
They just wan take the guy shine. Please remind me what haopened to the Senator alleged to have led thugs into invading the Senate and making away with the mace? That was an assault that happened right under their nose and they couldn't resolve it or punish the alleged offender. |
I wonder why people castigate the OP. If a place is designated as a residential area, it is wrong to have such a disturbance whether in the afternoon or at night. Even if the block industry gets there before others, as soon as the area become fully residential, it is proper for the owner to relocate the company. |
A clear case of giving an ugly dog a bad name so as to hang it. The invasion was wrong and condemnable, so also is the continuous incarceration of their leader despite court orders. |
He has the audacity to make such statement because those who have made such statements in the past ate walking free with no consequences. Until the government makes one of these war mongers a scape goat, the absurdity might persist |
There is definitely more to this story than they are giving us. In the fullness of time, the truth shall be laid bare. |
Was the presidential election also canceled in the affected area? As for Akpabio, he made a very big 'uncommon' gamble. I hope Akwa Ibomites find a place to forgive him for his self inflicted defeat at the polls. |
With the hordes of praise singers and sycophants, even if these men perform below par, they will still be hyped by the loud noise coming from their supporters which often dwarfs the agitation and criticism from sane and non partisan citizens |
This government still don't get it. It's penchant for treating the menace and atrocities allegedly perpetrated by the killer herdsmen with kid gloves has already irked people of the middle belt down to the Southern Nigeria. Hence any move by the government is treated with suspicion. A government that raised an army to tackle cattle rustlers but couldn't raise a finger and thus become helpless against the marauding herdsmen has already set itself up for suspicion. The expansionist idea didn't start today and only politicians from the South who wants to politically correct or benefitting or hoping to benefit from this government will support the RUGA thing down South. Alimi and Afonja come to mind. With such avalanche of land in the North, the herders can have their RUGA in the North, produce their beef in the North and then export it down south like they do for pepper, tomatoes and fruits. Case closed, problem solved. By the way, when is the Fulani Radio going to commence broadcasting? The RUGA should be complemented with schools, health care centers, and most importantly, polling units. |
SERAP shouldn't just urge them, they should be dragged to court also, including the public court where morality decides the case. Things like this should also attract the attention of our celebrities to organize protests about |
The RUGA to be complemented with a Radio Station. What a good reward to the marauding herders. |
The insect dancing on top of the river has the drummer beneath the river. These herders have never been this daring and bold until ..... But then nothing lasts forever. |
Politicians are same. They only cry foul when the arrangement does not favour them. They keep setting dangerous antecedents forgetting that those coming behind might take their selfish ideas to the next crazy level. Civil societies and the judiciary need to come to the rescue of the nation. |
The dirty residents should be ashamed of themselves. |
Someone should do same for Ogun and Oyo governors. |
Imagine if any if these 'reactants' are judges presiding over cases in our courts, countless number of people would have been jailed on mere emotions. How can enlightened people take side in such a sensitive case even before hearing the other side? Rape is a condemnable offense and the perpetrators should be adequately punished irrespective of their status. Maybe these celebrities should just hold their stockpiled insults for the 'perceived randy' Pastor until he is proven guilty by the court. The much they can do now is to support the victim to get justice in court. |
Ok |
This is one dirty job I expect the VP to vehemently reject except they have got him by his balls. How would he approach and convince his people in Ogun State to give up their ancestral land for the Ruga thing? Loyalty has a limit. |
Those who admitted to have remote controlled the election may still have the ability to remote control the judgment. |
Someone too is warming up in Ogun. NURTW is a veritable tool in the hands of the Chief Executives of states. |
Ok |
Now we are getting it twisted. Can the players in the whole brouhaha just come out plain once and for all. |
namiji2598:You obviously didn't understand my post hence that curse if for YOU only as I won't involve your innocent family members. The video evidence I ask for is the original statement of the Vice President instead of the press releases by both parties. |
Each party should produce video evidences to back their claims. |
Good. I hope these possibly sponsored protesters are aware that they are, by this action, admitting that PMB isn't in charge of his administration, same thing the opposition and some other Nigerians have been complaining about. |
What are the reasons why he was unwilling to contest? Are those factors still persisting or have been taken care of? Why was there a change of heart? These are some of the questions his handlers should answer to make this information credible |
Politicians keep setting dangerous precedents. It may not be appropriate for us as laymen to determine whether it is legal or illegal. But we can clearly see that it is immoral except blinded by political affiliation. If it is found to be illegal by the court, the perpetrators should be adequately and commensurately punished to serve as deterrents to others who might be want to tow such line. |
Obama does not have a male child and that hasn't in anyway diminished his image. |
