That might be where the North is headed in 2023. The Southerners in APC and PDP might need to be very calculative and keep their games to their chests. |
That might be where the North is headed in 2023. |
He might be right after all. Some accidental millionaires may have been made with IDP funds, trader moni, and other well-intentioned social intervention programmes What he didn't say however is the number of people relegated to the abject poverty zone during the period under review. |
Ok |
Is this democracy or crazy demo? This is how the case will drag to supreme court. The perpetrators of the illegality sure knew the were wrong but will still continue because the law won'tpunish them |
The truth, nothing but the truth. |
If it is established that Rochas helped himself with the state fund in establishing the university , the school should not only be taken from him, he should also be prosecuted for it. However, the Imo government should be careful not to be seen as witch hunting the ex-governor |
This is getting messier. Obaseki might eventually succumb to pressure from every quarters. |
Peaceful protest is still within the rights of citizens of a country under democracy. There is absolutely no need to blackmail Mr. Sowore and those that believed in him out of his planned protest. The much the NYCP or YNPD could do is to organize their own protest at their own convenient time. After all, the sole aim of the duo is to call government's attention to the rot in the system. So why the bickering? Why the division? |
The Sunnis and the Shiites have age long feud.An average Sunni sees Shiites as irritants and coackraoches that should be crushed and I guess the feeling is mutual too. It is unfortunate that one group enjoys the use of state apparatus at its disposal to deal with the other. Make no mistake , the group at the receiving end will likely do the same were they in power. My plea is that these two groups should not involve other sane Nigerians in their supremacy battle and not turn Nigeria into battle a field of proxy wars between some Middle East Countries |
The only reason we are having discussion on RUGA is because the Federal Government has no power over lands, otherwise communities could have woken up one day and see lands in their domains already cleared and designated for RUGA without their consent. Everyone has to be vigilant. |
That was some cyber bullying there by the Nigerians. Haba. That was too much for Kenyans now. Wither the African Brotherhood? |
Ok |
The events of 2022 - 2023 will be very interesting to watch. God spare our lives. |
He said "this will allow me to make back the money I donated for Buhari's Campaign in 2015. One of the foolish things I have ever done in my life" One can imagine the disappointment of the loyal supporters of PMB who took up the challenge. Why should naming a cabinet in July become a daunting task for someone who won elections since February? History won't forgive him if he returns the country to recession the third time with his tardiness |
I don't understand. What is special in the governor traveling to and returning from Abuja that could warrant a street procession by his loyalists? I don't trust bloggers. This may be one of his campaign trains |
It is his turn to shine. He needs a good and honest manager ASAP |
I knew they dare not give the President any ultimatum. These ones are lackeys and don't have the balls. See them already contemplating on altering their time-table just to accommodate the indecisiveness of a man who won elections since February. This is the same way budgets will not be submitted on time. I pray his tardiness won't return us to recession. The padi-padi government continues. |
Praise when necessary and knock when it is right to do so. That's the hallmark of a responsible opposition. Someone needs to tell other governors that had illegally sacked LG chairmen in connivance with their state assemblies to retrace their steps. |
If only the angry dead can rise and act, the deceased should just begin to give knocks to the sympathizers of her alleged killers |
Maybe South East and South South because the last time I checked, the South West governors are already on their knees begging the murderous and marauding herdsmen not to leave yet they keep lamenting that there forests are occupied by strangers. |
I still do not understand why the NEF becomes the whipping group for everyone at this moment. They never asked all Northerners to return to the North but only the Fulani herdsmen who have been fingered in most vicious attacks and who they perceived to be endangered. Isn't this similar to what America does to her citizens too by cautioning them not to go certain places and even airlifting them to safety in times of danger. The governors who sit atop humongous security votes can appear to be politically correct since they aren't directly affected. I'm sure the villagers whose farmlands have been occupied and who cannot go to farm safely or sleep with both eyes closed would disagree with the governors. I personally think the call by the NEF should be applauded. The herders should form ranches, colonies or RUGAs in the North and export their cows to the South like they do with tomatoes, pepper and their other products. |
With the seemingly ineptitude of those at the helms of affairs coupled with the unabated cries and agony of the defenseless citizens, I pray and hope the Khaki boys won't find a reason to ease out the perceived clueless government. |
Lagos is indeed the center of excellence. This is just the domestic debt o. The problem isn't just about the debt but about the fact that most of these debts are incurred to service the humongous recurrent expenditure occasioned by the greediness and flamboyant lifestyles of our present and past Chief Executives. What do we have to show from these debts? Some emergency Billionaires, Decaying infrastructures, white elephant projects, abandoned and inflated projects. There must be a day of reckoning |
It isn't a bad idea after all. Premium Times should sniff harder to confirm if VON hasn't already made budget and disbursed fund for the acquisition of new office complex. |
Ordinarily that should be the sane thing to do. |
Ordinarily, all Nigerians should be free to live in any part of the country and be assured of government protection at all times. However when a certain group becomes thorns in the flesh of their host communities, it is proper for everyone to sit and reevaluate the seemingly parasitic relationship. |
...and the saintly Mr. Integrity couldn't muster the courage to publicly declare his asset. |
It is getting hot and interesting. Hope the court isn't leading Atiku on |
May God rest his soul. Police shouldn't foreclose the possibility of his being pushed to his death. |
Tinubu don buy market . Silence at times could be golden |
