It is irresponsible to lump all traditional leaders in that region as sponsors of banditry. Fish out the culprits and prosecute them appropriately. |
Here comes another candidate to be 'harassed' by the ICC |
This proposition is great only if you are absolutely right and they are clearly wrong. Somehow the tyranny of the majority has to be checked. |
The duo are adults who are old and responsible enough to make decisions on their own without necessarily being ordered around. So what's the unnecessary noise about them meeting? |
The school was obviously not founded in the interest of Ogun State. This is a state that is struggling to properly fund her plethora of higher institutions. To even think that this same man wanted to merge TASUED with OOU for paucity of fund when he newly became the governor make this creation of new institution shows how politicians can be contradictory. |
Guyman likely warming his ways to APC. Same way Obanikoro started his praise singing. |
People should cut these CAN guys some slacks. It is not for CAN to discriminate against a government for alleged electoral fraud. Reno and his party should be assured that should the tribunal grant them victory, CAN will pay them the traditional congratulatory visit. Afterall some renowned clergymen were in AkwaIbom yesterday and heaven did not fall. |
Where was the husband when the whole drama was unfolding? Why would he even invite his mistress to his matrimonial home in the first instance? Could it be a planned blackmail and extortion scheme? While not supporting the self help the woman resulted to especially the extortion aspect, I'll have like the judge to consider the emotional distress of a woman who came in to find another woman in her matrimonial home. If na man enter him house con find another man on top him bed, we know say one man go go down Lesson to partners of adulterous spouses: Your spouse is your headache and not his/her partner in crime. Direct your grievances to the appropriate quarters |
Dipo Dina of Ogun State is missing in this list. The man was the most fsvoured gubernatorial candidate of the ACN then until his life was cut short. |
This young man really tried with his Ogun East senatorial campaign. He was just unlucky with the party - Green Party of Nigeria. The party was without a formidable structure and the custodians are the most unserious party I have ever known. |
How can someone who whined a and dined with a party for more than 16 years and later dumped and derided the party then turn around to complain of been ditched by people who dined with him for just eight years. That's hypocrisy. Politics is local and Akpabio should have carefully gauge the feelings of his people before that misadventure into APC. Like sarcastically advised, he should engage in deep retrospection and retrace his steps if he is ever going to be relevant in that state again. |
Ok |
Seems only Amosun is the SW governor that is conspicuosly absent. Even Okorocha is present. |
INEC should by now be considering electronic voting which will largely reduce incidents of violence and thuggery. |
Those are words said in a moment of indiscretion. |
The picture above couldn't have been on an election day. There isn't anyway vehicular movement will be that much on an election day |
Yewa blew their chance. An Egba man is already warming up after Dapo. There isn't any morality in this thing called politics |
Until we embrace e-voting, thuggery and violence will still mar elections whether main or supplementary. |
Onoghen will most likely have the last laugh but he has been badly bruised by the agents of darkness who deliberately misinformed the court and the public just to have him eased out of the exalted position. No evil doer should go unpunished |
This isn't fair. Ho do we judge the entire region with the perceived misdeed of a handful of people from that region |
The CJN deserves apology from everyone that had hurled insults at him over this media trial. I'm sorry, Justice Onoghen |
One cannot but pity the embattled CJN for the embarrassment and image battering the media trial has caused him. Maybe those who allegedly raided his farm some days ago were looking for more damnable evidences by couldn't find any. It is Onoghen today, it could be anyone tomorrow. Media trial should be criminalized. I fear for the safety of the man at this moment. |
The senators are at liberty to choose leaders from within themselves irrespective of their party affiliation. |
Didn't this man visit Ajimobi some days ago? |
Truly, failure is an orphan |
Being in the same forest with lions and with such proximity is in itself shocking. What if the stunt had backfired like that of a man that was said to scale the fence of a lion cage to perform miracle but ended being devoured by the beast. What stops them from killing their own animals out of the abundance in the forest instead of dangerously stealing from the lions. Only God knows what would have happened should they have stayed some moments longer |
They aren't permanent enemies. Just a clash of interest and it has been settled by the voters. |
Miracle must have been given a new meaning. Dapo narrowly won because the party has a well oiled structure aided by the inability of the Ogun West to provide a common font. Strangely though, I can remember him featuring in any radio program during the electioneering period. He is always represented by party men. Maybe that's the miracle he is talking about. |
Ok |
The question should have been : Why is Sowore quiet after the elections? He is the one to keep himself in the consciousness of the masses for as long as he is genuinely interested in being the President. |
This is akin to two teams praying to same God before a football match where a winner must emerge. God will not do for men what they can do for themselves. May the better party win. |
