That's the way to go. Enough is truly Enough. Estimated Billing System is a monumental fraud and exploitation of the masses that should attract the attention of a corruption-fighting government. |
Does payment of subsidy without NASS approval also constitute an impeachable offence? I just want to know. |
Ok |
Does the constitution of the party allows them to seek reelection? If yes, those affected should seek redress. However, I hope this 'ban' is also extended to the serving Senators from Lagos State who had spent two terms too. |
African leaders are always willing puppets to the foreign economic and religious powers Why should Nigeria even get involved in the messy politics in the Middle East? |
The police and maybe the government shouldn't drag the country into avoidable crisis. Everyone knows that there's no love lost between the Sunni populated force and the Shittes. The monster that was made with careless handling of Boko Haram is there for all to see. A wise government shouldn't add Iran backed terror groups into its headache. Charge their incarcerated leader to court or free him as ordered by the court. |
We just love lowering the standard, NO Nigerian politician has integrity. None, except integrity has another meaning. |
Arrest picture without handcuffs and police officers? This looks like a pose by an upcoming hip hop artist. |
Truer words have never been said. I stopped taking PMB seriously when he was undermined by the DSS on Magu's nomination. That gave the impetus for other appointees to undermine him so much that it is glaring that he isn't in absolute control of this administration. PMB is already demystified and he should just honorably hang his boots. |
Would it be too early to reveal what party's flag he's flying? |
All the able bodied men in the chamber at the moment of mace theft should be ashamed of themselves. Kudos to the brave woman. She obviously wasn't carried along in the plot, otherwise she would have adopted the siddon look posture like that of the particular Senator that has gone viral. |
The rumor may not be true in its entirety BUT INEC as it is compromised and is in itself a huge threat to the forthcoming election. The RECs are nominated by their various state governors and it wouldn't be unlikely that these governors influence their posting too. These RECs owe allegiance to their benefactors, no doubt. You scratch my back, I scratch yours. 2019 is already compromised. |
The more you people try to rationalize and justify PMB's gaffe in a bid to exculpate him, the more you stir people's anger against your Principal. Gosh! |
I ain't no fan of ElRufai. But the fact that some people defamed in the past and got away with it doesn't mean we should continue in that path. If the guy can't substantiate his allegation, then he should face the music. |
As I read your complaint, my sympathy just goes to the haples consumers on estimated billing system in your neighborhood communities. That is because they will be the ones to pay for the revenue loss from your community. A serious business will not close shop because of customers complaint but instead strive to appease them. IBEDC knows that wether it supplies power or not, customers MUST pay. I cannot begin to rant about the ills of these distribution companies, my own go just pass ur own. ESTIMATED BILLING SYSTEM IS FRAUD, THEFT, STEALING, CORRUPTION, INHUMAN, etc. Government and regulatory agencies should come to the aid of consumers. That's if they aren't also benefitting from the fraud. @OP, there was a thread here sometimes ago on how a customer stood his ground against one of these distribution companies and eventually won. Maybe your community should follow that path. It might be tortuous but you will be liberated at the end. |
Not again. Yesterday was the army burning houses in Benue in a reprisal attack. Today is some unknown gunmen in military uniform perpetrating carnage against Benue. Lord, if there is any sin Benue as a state has committed to deserve this treatment, please forgive them and render their oppressors impotent. Most importantly, give them the courage to stand up and defend themselves against the marauders and grant them victory in the end. Amen |
It won't take too long before those other Senators that goaded Omo Agege ( that's if he is truly involved) desert him. Granted that he feels his suspension is illegal and needs to ventilate his displeasure, should he not have approached the court instead of bringing the institution and the nation to ridicule. Heard some Ghanaians were in the chamber during the invasion. I'm sure the Executive won't also want to be seen as sponsoring or supporting attack on the Senate. Not even at this precarious time when the rating is at the lowest. No thanks to PMB's endless gaffes. Omo Agege can kiss the 8th senate goodbye. |
Haba. This is grossly unacceptable. The death of a soldier is painful and regrettable But why burn down a whole community instead of fishing out the culprit(s)? How is this different from the jungle justice we love to condemn? Benue People are already going through hell in the hand of the terrorist herdsmen. The least they should get from the army is succor and not further torment. I'm saddened by this unfortunate news. Nigeria shouldn't be a jungle where anything goes. |
Congratulations to the deserving officers. It appears the PSC is in the season of promotion. I want to passionately appeal to the PSC or whichever body that is concerned with promotion of the rank and file officers to urgently look in to their case. The hapless civilians are bearing the brunt of their frustration. Thank you. |
Pro. Wenger is a legend, just like Sir. Ferguson Other legends should just learn to quit when the ovation is loudest. Otherwise they get demystified and ridiculed. Lesson well learnt. |
rickyrex:Bros u no get my gist o The security agents are clearly complicit in the senate invasion saga. Heads suppose roll but as per say the script was likely written from above, nothing dey happen. Make we reason am like this, after every every, wetin the Senate fit do the IGP and the DSS boss? |
Good for him and his team. Reward for hardwork is motivation. However I hope thousands of other policemen whose promotion are due are also considered so that they will stop venting their frustration on the innocent civilians Kyari should be scheming on how to arrest Shekau by now. Who knows, he might be promoted to the rank of IGP straightaway. |
Clarify? Femi Adesina already did that even though laced with usual arrogance and insult. Apologize? Not in PMB's dictionary. Not even when the horde of 'hardworking' youth from a certain region are still solidly behind him, the remaining inconsequential, lazy and entitled youth can go to... |
The IGP and DSS boss should have approached the court immediately the incident happened and seek for order restraining the Senate from inviting them. ![]() I'm certain one of these judges will be more willing to grant the request sharply. *Maybe that isn't part of the plot** What if the invitees are unable to give a convincing defence? The worst the Senate can do is to recommend their sack which PMB won't accede to. ... and the unending bickering continues What a nation! |
PMB made and obvious gaffee. Expect another major event before Monday to diver attention of the 'lazy' populace from this. |
The President should also avoid making statement that could be easily twisted by the 'intellectually lazy' critics |
Where is the nigga in Tshirt that actually made away with the mace from the chamber?
|
1. A suspended senator resumes plenary because he felt his suspension was illegal (based on legal advice) and not because a court of law says so. 2. Some of his colleagues who are in the know of the plot protected him from ejection from the chamber 3.... and from nowhere, some guys emerged and cart away the symbol of authority of the senate without any iota of resistance from anyone, including the security agents 4. He was rumoured to have been arrested but it now turns out that he was merely escorted away for safety reasons. The movie is interesting and the directors ' in the ROCK' are entertaining. We look forward to the next episode. |
That was brazen! I was thinking the mace was intercepted and snatched in the hallway. See as that Senator just siddon look. Wetin concern am? He cannot come and kill himself. Mace or no Mace, #13.5m running cost go still enter. |
I'm not a fan of the IGP but on this case the man already has his plate filled and the least of his problem should be an ultimatum from the Senate over their stolen mace. Were they not sitting like overfed lame ducks in the chamber while the mace was being carted away?. Are they not men? Why can't they resist the mace thieves? The snatching of the mace is an affront on our democracy and should be roundly condemned though. But then, are we actually practicing democracy? |
Fayose is obviously not better than those he loves to criticise. But on this issue, he may not be far from the truth |
