Politics › Re: Oyegun To Remain APC Chairman If Convention Fails To Hold - APC NEC Says by LibertyRep: 11:51am On Apr 10, 2018
Whatever that rocks their boat.

They should however not set the country ablaze when the court finally nullifies the elections of candidates so produced by the Oyegun illegal tenure.
Politics › Re: 2019: Constituents Reject Ben Bruce by LibertyRep: 9:14am On Apr 10, 2018
The disgruntled constituents would have to reject him through the ballot

Anybody who has no qualms collecting #13.5m as running cost monthly in a nation where minimum wage is #18k is capable of mass murder and deserves no pity.

However if the twitter Lord, common sense senator is replaced, would anything change?
Education › Re: UTME 2018: JAMB Speaks On Removal Of Results From Site by LibertyRep:
Jamb seems to have outlived its usefulness.

It won't be repealed yet because it's a source of insane revenue for the government.

I wish the affected candidates can sue the body for emotional distress
Politics › Re: Buhari Denies Approving $1bn For Arms Purchase by LibertyRep: 9:33pm On Apr 09, 2018
The public opprobrium was huge and they had to tactically backtrack.

NASS should keep a tab on the fund. It might have been withdrawn even without the knowledge of PMB. He seems to always be in the dark of happenings around him.
Politics › Re: APC Chairman, Oyegun Speaks On Disagreements Over His Tenure Elongation by LibertyRep: 9:14pm On Apr 09, 2018
So the president is the defacto leader of the party
Politics › Re: Masari A Mature Politician – Katsina Govt Reacts To Pdp’s Rally In Buhari’s Home by LibertyRep: 1:44pm On Apr 09, 2018
So Fayose was in another man's state for a Political rally while at the same time telling Kalu not to visit Ekiti for whatever reason.

That’s double standard.
Politics › Re: Oyegun, Others Not Eligible To Run For APC Leadership Positions – Buhari by LibertyRep: 1:38pm On Apr 09, 2018
Don't they have a functional constitution in that party?

How come PMB now decides who is eligible or not to contest for what post in the party?
Politics › Re: Breaking: President Buhari Seeks Soft Landing For Oyegun by LibertyRep:
I think the party should be supreme and shouldn't be taking orders from the president and governors.

How would our democracy develop if the political party leaders are at the beck and call of elected office holders?

When will a political party in Nigeria be able to sanction even the president like we had in South Africa?

Let's make our institutions strong and not making strong men
Politics › Re: President Buhari Declares For Second Term by LibertyRep: 12:20pm On Apr 09, 2018
Noone should act surprised.

It is his constitutional right to contest and the right of Nigerians with PVCs to decide his fate.

I hope he's already in possession of his WASSCE certificate this time around.

Let the drama, intrigue, alignment and re-allingments begin.
Christianity Etc › Re: 2019: Nigeria’s Messiah Will Come From North - Pastor Tunde Bakare by LibertyRep: 10:12am On Apr 09, 2018
Somehow, I don't usually trust people who claim to be God's spokesperson or who are privy to God's plan especially on election matters.

It's hightime respectable clergymen stopped passing across their personal views as God's position. They should know that there are discerning Nigerians.
Politics › Re: APC: The Die Is Cast As Three Groups Do Battle by LibertyRep:
Since the common binding factor is PMB's reelection, it will be tactical for the owners of the party to ensure that none of these warring parties produces the next Chairman.

But then who are the owners of the party if not these same set of bickering people?

It's their cup of tea anyways
Politics › Re: Is It Time For Nigeria To Quit ECOWAS? by LibertyRep:
I think Nigeria should stay at ECOWAS but be very very assertive.

If we quit, France wouldn't waste time to take over ECOWAS through one of these Francophone neighbours.

A nation is a secured as its borders. We can't afford to have hostile neighbors being prodded by foreign powers.

Btw, those that are vast in international relations should please explain the sudden obsession of these North African countries with ECOWAS.
Politics › Re: APC: Oyegun Surrenders - The Nation by LibertyRep: 7:27am On Apr 09, 2018
Only if the cold war wouldn't make him a rebel leader that will orchestrate the division from within. This may be a Pyrrich victory for the other camp
Politics › Re: 2019: PDP Accuses Buhari Of Endorsement-Shopping by LibertyRep: 7:21am On Apr 09, 2018
He needs all the endorsement he can get at this moment.

I'll advise PDP to swing into action too before he corners all the endorsements from who is who
Foreign Affairs › Re: Brazilian Ex-President, Lula, Surrenders To Police, Begins 12-year Jail Term by LibertyRep:
Just a luxury apartmenthuh Nigeria and some African countries still have a long way to go.

That must be a country where the rule of law is held sacrosanct and where the prosecuting agency does not need to wait for the body language of anyone.

All present and past governors and presidents should thank their stars that they aren't Brazilians. It could have been life imprisonment or outright execution for some of them.
Politics › Re: APC NEC: Why El-rufai, Akeredolu, Bello, Others Are Backing Oyegun by LibertyRep: 4:21pm On Apr 08, 2018
Oyegun may after all be the purveyor of the balkanization of the party.
Christianity Etc › Re: Primate Ayodele: "God Will Punish Saraki If He Refuses To Contest In 2019" by LibertyRep: 12:37pm On Apr 08, 2018
Primate should tread cautiously. He shouldn't misconstrue his inner, personal voice with the voice of God

Nobody is stopping Saraki from contesting. It's his absolute right to do so.
Investment › Re: Sergei Mavrodi: MMM Founder Buried In Closed Coffin (pic, Video) by LibertyRep: 10:41am On Apr 08, 2018
Closed casket? Hmmn

All plastic surgeons should be placed on red alert
Politics › Re: Nigeria Has Bright Future, It Will Be One Of Great Countries – Osinbajo by LibertyRep:
How can a politician and a lawyer in Nigeria still parade himself as a Pastor. That’s a paradox.

Someone needs to understudy the VP
Politics › Re: Looters List: We Can't Work With The Presidency - Saraki by LibertyRep:
As if they've been working together before.

The executive has subjected the legislative and judiciary to enormous blackmail and public ridicule

The cold war has been unending and we're aware.
Politics › Re: Don’t Come To Ekiti To Campaign For Buhari – Fayose Govt Warns Orji Kalu by LibertyRep: 4:42pm On Apr 07, 2018
Fayose should not 'over do' his opposition and criticism.

What even makes him think he can decide for the traditional rulers who to attend to and who not to attend to?

As much as he has the right to querry the propriety of Kalu's assignment, it is left for Ekiti people to either reject him or accept him.

Let him know that what goes around comes around.
Politics › Re: PDP North West Mega Rally (Live Photos) by LibertyRep: 3:18pm On Apr 07, 2018
PDP may not eventually be able to unseat PMB in 2019 but will definitely pull a great show.

This may not be because Nigerians have forgiven or forgotten their 16 years of mis-governance but because Nigerians have come to realise that there isn't any difference between the 'power grabbers' under the umbrella and the broom-wielding change chanters.
Sports › Re: Segun Toriola Wins Commonwealth Games Quarter-final Match by LibertyRep: 1:24pm On Apr 07, 2018
Congratulations Shege

I hope we find a worthy replacement for Mr. Segun when the time comes
Politics › Re: APC Leaders At War Over Oyegun’s Future As Tinubu’s Camp Moves Cautiously by LibertyRep: 9:59am On Apr 07, 2018
Head or tail, Oyegun Chairmanship tussle will cause so much damage that may be irreparable if not well handled.

It's going to take a lot of maturity and selflessness to salvage the party from the impending trouble.
Politics › Re: Otunba Gbenga Daniel's 62nd Birthday Celebration In Pictures by LibertyRep: 9:51am On Apr 07, 2018
OGD and Ibori.
What if the two of them become President and Vice President.

NB: No former or serving governor in this current republic is better though.
Politics › Re: $1b: No One Should Play Politics With Security Of Nigerians, Presidency Warns by LibertyRep: 9:37pm On Apr 06, 2018
The money is to be sourced from the Excess Crude Account.

Even if the States' Houses of Assembly gave the go ahead for the share of their states to be used to procure the arms, has the FG sought for the approval of the National Assembly for the FG's share of the ECA fund to be so spent?

Granted that PDP once travelled through this illegal path before, must we also continue perpetrating illegality and emotionally blackmail critics? Wither the change?

Instead of spending #350 billion naira to procure arms to tackle the already technically defeated terror group with whom the FG even had a cease-fire agreement, can we just negotiate with them to stop terrorism once and for all?
Politics › Re: Buhari Said Fuel Subsidy Is A Scam Yet He Pays $1.4 Trillion On Subsidy - Omokri by LibertyRep:
I won't be surprised if PMB comes to claim that he isn't aware that subsidy is being paid.

He seems oblivious of so many things.
Politics › Re: Ganduje: "We Will Drag Buhari To Court If He Refuses To Seek Reelection" by LibertyRep:
PMB is the meal ticket of so many politicians in the North.

Many of them rode to power through the bandwagon effect of Sai Baba and that's why they will do everything possible to make him recontest.

It will be easier for a fish washed ashore to survive than for most of them to survive without PMB.

What I don't know is if the Sai Baba magical effect is still as potent as it was in 2015.
Politics › Re: I Warned Southwest Against Voting For Buhari – Adebanjo by LibertyRep:
Regrettably Chief, we had no better option in 2015 or let me say the media propaganda was much that we were left with no other option.

This is coupled with the fact that GEJ presented himself as a man with no balls.

Lessons wel learnt sir.
Politics › Re: Hidden Assets: Ohaneze Ndigbo Vows To Defend Ekweremadu.. by LibertyRep: 10:50am On Apr 06, 2018
That's the way to go in Nigeria, a country greatly divided along tribal and religious lines.

Arewa should rise in defence of Saraki & Dasuki.
Afenifere shouldn't allow Falae, Obanikoro and FFK be touched even if they share out of the NSA infamous disbursement.

After Ohanenze, I expect his Church to also rise in his defence.

The easiest ways to wriggle yourself out of trouble is to steal so much that can help you hire enough intimidating SANs and also whip up tribal and religious sentiments so loud that the prosecuting agencies wld be blackmailed into keeping mute
Politics › Re: Dino Melaye Heads To Supreme Court Over INEC Recall by LibertyRep: 10:56pm On Apr 05, 2018
It may eventually be that the motive behind the entire drama is not to recall the Senator, but to destabilize him and his political machineries.

To a large extent, Dino already has his plate filled and may not be thinking about 2019 now
Politics › Re: Throw Back Picture Of Ibori, Uduaghan And Okowa by LibertyRep: 10:52pm On Apr 05, 2018
Look critically, the man to take over from Okowa may be in that picture too.
