The different between some people and the Buhari's fanatical supporters of 2011 is just the media, and maybe some level of education. I do not think the Benin people will allow their King be dragged anyways. |
The faith induced performance of last Saturday should not blind people to other realities. Mergers that happen days before elections oftentimes dampen the spirit of committed party faithfuls who would be made to appear as dispensables. ...but has the PDP become this useless? A one time acclaimed biggest party in Africa? |
Kanu and IPOB news will not be relevant at this time. A new direction is being charted. I feel concerned for Kanu's relevance in the East, going forward. |
He has just courted the wrath of some people. |
The Supreme Court seems late to the party. They've already confiscated our old notes. But then, if hypocrisy was to be human, some people will be it's human form. |
Don't stretch this thing beyond reasonable points. |
How many of the Nigerian Professors took part in the elections? How many of them have been found culpable? Is the ratio of the bad eggs enough to cast aspersions on the entire Nigerian Professors? |
He has every right to contest the result of the elections to the Supreme Court, if dissatisfied. Instead of discouraging him, I feel he should be encouraged to follow that path, as this will further strengthen our democracy. |
highchief1:...and what's wrong with living in Abeokuta? ![]() Stop the stray bullet and focus on your target please. |
Yes. It is his right to celebrate or not to. Respect his choice |
Please don't hit the street to cause chaos but instead hit the court with the compelling evidences you have. |
Congratulations to the President Elect. I expect the venue to erupt in jubilation as he is declared. The disunited opposition lost the election |
His open endorsement of a particular candidate will put a dent on whatever he has got to say, coupled with his below par performance with the same elections in 2007. Every affected candidates/ parties should gather as much evidences as they have and proceed to court for redress. By the way, it appears a rerun is in the offing as APC fails to get 25% in Abuja. Let's wait and see. |
Ok |
Unlike other former heads of states, OBJ publicly endorsed a particular candidate. This is where his objectivity and altruism will be called to question. Instead of calming the tension, Baba's posturing is indirectly pouring fuel into yet-to-start fire. |
Agbalagba to so agbado mo idi, lo so ara re di alawada adiye. |
Ebonyi? APC? Senator? Some things are surprising. There are two realities. |
Well that's honourable of him. How about the fella that promised to leave this forum if a particular candidate wins his party's primary? |
Eiya, Ortom would have rode on the Obedient wave. |
I will solely put the blame on the doorstep of INEC. With their budget, there's no reason for INEC not to upload results from each PU immediately after the election as earlier promised. This conduct is not acceptable, going forward. |
He possibly voted Labour Party. You can't say he lost his PU when he has not publicly endorsed any candidate. Same couldn't be said of OBJ. |
Interesting times! |
It is not unexpected that a strong candidate like Atiku will lose his polling unit or even ward. The way the result are trickling in, it might difficult for him to have 25% in any of the Southern states. Tension soaked elections! |
This one is even mocking his god, if he has any. |

What happens to the EndSars panel in Anambra? Who were the people invited but declined invitation? . |
Ortom already said he'll sacrifice his senatorial ambition. Perhaps he has seen defeat coming. He benefited from the Buhari Tsunami in 2015. Guyman already scheming to ride on Obi's effect this time too |
Oni should brace up for the barrage of insults that will be directed at him, his office and his person. One would have expected the traditional institutions to be apolitical though. But then, the few clergymen that have decided to be father for all, have seen shege in the last couple of days. |
But why qualify the people of Igabi as fanatics? That's not cool . |
