@sbm4real, can you check to be sure your yahoo add is correct as your email was returned, though I've sent it through the other email add. |
2 Nos mini apartments available now in Lekki Phase1 to let, Price is N600k per flat per annum. |
@lawyer, truth is you are very unlikely to get anything for that price, so I would be very careful with what I am offered if I were you. You can't even get land in Lekki for N60m now, how much more with a property on it, and definitely not on Admiralty. If you are looking beyond Lekki say towards Jakande roundabout and downwards towards Ajah, yes there is, but not Lekki Estate. I'll give you a call in the morning and we can talk more. |
3 bedroom flat available in Lekki 1, Price: N1.8m per annum, 2 years rent. 2 bedroom flat available in Lekki 1, Price N1.3m per annum, 2 years rent. 3 bedroom flat available in Lekki 1, 90% completion, to be ready end of September. Price N1.5m per annum. Miniflat available in Lekki 1, Price from N600k per annum, 2 years rent. 2 Nos 4 bedroom flat available in Lekki 1, Price N3.5m per annum. Miniflats, 2 bedroom flats and 3 bedroom flats available in Abraham Adesanya Estate, Sangotedo, Badore. Prices start at N150k per annum for miniflats and N300k per annum for 2/3 bedroom flats. Please call, write or text at 07031262670, 07028366541, wealthy1one@yahoo.com. |
Mini flat in Oniru, N250k per annum and N400k per annum available now. |
cgift:LOL. Are you talking about Lekki1? Anyway, there are mini flats in places like Sangotedo, Badore, Awoyaya on the Lekki Epe axis which still go for as low as N150k per annum, sha, if you don't mind going that far. The reason why Lekki 1 rent is so high is because of the proximity to VI and a lot of workers try to avoid the Jakande, Chevron and Ajah traffic which can be a real pain, morning and evening, every working day. So the closer to VI, the more expensive the rent. |
There's a mini flat in Oniru for N400k per annum, and in Lekki phase 1, N600k and N700k. |
There's a 2 bedroom, around tantaliser's, @ N1.8m per annum. You can inspect tomorrow but call to fix an appointment. 07031262670, 07028366541. |
Moonbay Luxury Apartments, 11 Furo Ezimora Street, Lekki 1. Nos 01-4313233, 08060197888. Piccadilly Suites, Lekki( btw Argungi and Igboefon bus stops off the expressway) Nos 017610461, 08062798505. |
Short term lets are not a common phenomenon in Nigeria yet and many are still run like hotels. It's not like in England for example where you can get hostel accommodation for say 70 pounds a week. This is the fact in Nigeria. Didn't you listen to the CNN report a forthnight ago where property costs were said to be comparable to what you get in New York and London. N50k a month for short let accommodation in Lagos? Except you are looking for face me I face you apartment sha. Those ones are plenty. You can get one for that price per annum even. There's a new luxury apartment come up in Lekki that are charging from N25k per night, even I gasped in horror when I made the call to them. They have their target market and I assure you the place is constantly booked. This is the reality and the contradiction of our country, my brother. Nobody is trying to make money off anyone here. I gave information about what I know ( and I may not know all the short let apartments in Lagos). I can send you the numbers for you to make the calls yourself. Many of you who've been out of Nigeria for a while need a reality check. You have a general belief that things in Nigeria ought to be cheaper than abroad which is not the case at all. In fact, I still find it difficult to buy clothes here because I will always make a comparison with UK prices. A lot has changed in Nigeria and as much as there is poverty here, there are people who are doing very well especially bankers and those who work in the telecoms organisations. Lagos is a real contradiction of poverty and riches residing side by side. |
The only short let apartment I know about is called Picadilly Suites on the Lekki Epe axis, actually at Argungi, after Jakande Roundabout, before Chevron Roundabout. It doesn't come cheap, though cheaper than what our guy gave you sha. I checked for a friend some months ago and I know their two bedroom Executive Suite was going for N16k per night, although they were willing to do N10k per night because my friend was supposed to stay a minimum of 6 months. I don't know if they'll give a discount for 3 weeks. I actually just tore up their room rates this weekend while sorting my stuff. I have their leaflet somewhere but I can make the enquiry for you if this rate suits your friends. The place is a short distance from Alpha Beach. I can go there tomorrow and get the leaflet and send you the number to call them with and also find out if they will do a discount for your friends. I have a cousin who has a hotel in Omole GRA, there's a penthouse in the hotel with two rooms. You can check the site www.villasofiacourts.com( I think, I'll check it once I'm done typing this and modify if necessary). I can ask for a discount from him for the penthouse. Check and give me a feedback so that I can see what I can do if it's ok for your friends. |
superstition! And this has been elevated to a new level in the church, sadly. and @ gamine, it is the 2nd friday of the month. |
Really? Last I checked, it was always over-crowded. |
@folarina, you hit the nail on the head. Many of the so-called developers in Mowe/Ofada are simply trading with people's money. They tell you to pay such a small amount and can you imagine the number of people who do pay for these plots? Then they go and invest the money. Moreover, the pace of development in Mowe/Ofada cannot be compared to Ibeju-Lekki. |
One of the big players in the Real Estate sector reiterated what we who work on the Lekki-Epe axis have known for a while. Real estate is the next big thing and the place to look at is this axis. With the unveiling of the Lekki arm of the Lagos Mega City Project by the governor of the state on the 13th of this month, there will be a scrambling for properties and we will see a rise in prices extending as far as Eleko and Epe like we saw in Lekki Estate and environs at the end of last year. You can still get land in places like Sangotedo, Badore, Oke-Ira, Awoyaya and Abijo for as low as N1.5m. Okun Ajah was less than a million at the beginning of the year. We are already seeing prices as high as N3m and by the end of the year it won’t go for less than N10m moreso with the construction of the coastal road and new estates that are springing up there at the moment. In fact, there’s an estate already selling land at N6,000 per square metre and have properties of 660m2 upwards. You do the Maths! Anyone looking for good returns on investments should look towards this area now. I know that once we go into September, the demand for land will rise as speculators who are looking for a kill will swoop into the market and try to buy up whatever is available to re-sell in the new year. The time to buy is now. We can help you get properties in these areas. We are well versed as we have worked here for over 4 years and understand the trends. Available: 2 contiguous plots of land in Sangotedo selling @ N2.5m per plot. Plots in Oke-Ira, Awoyaya, Abijo, Badore. Also land in Ogombo under N500k per plot Okun Ajah for N1.5m per plot. Ikota Villa Estate from N5m per plot. Also, there are properties to let in Lekki 1 & Ikoyi(mini flats, 2, 3 bedroom flats, duplexes), Argungu, Igboefon, Ikota Villa Estate, Sangotedo. Call, text or write: 07031262670, 07028366541. Wealthy1one@yahoo.com |
ifyalways:Ifyalways, LOL. mgbidi, egbedi! Thanks Kome for bailing me out that one. I'm surprised this thread is still going strong. And where is the originator, Ice Zik? I love you in Isoko? Let me go and consult my sister's Isoko bible. Isoko Wadoo!!! |
New Estate Development off Lekki Epe Expressway, near Amen Estate. Selling now at N1.5m per plot. Options for installemntal payment over a year available after initial deposit of 30%. Call or write for more information. |
Truth is if you follow what goes on in churches particularly in Nigeria, you might not want to go to anyone, I don't care who the pastor is. But we are children of God. We don't walk by our feelings. I like how Sholeyb has analysed it and what Debosky said. And you are not demon possessed or backsliden. It's a phase almost everyone of us has gone through at some point or another. For someone whose christian leaning is well known on this forum, I commend your honesty for coming out with the truth with all the wolves who were ready to bite off your head! |
@Kunle, you are fixated on Hebrews 7:18. So we should take one verse of the bible in isolation without recourse to what it says before or after. The whole book of Hebrews points to the superiority of Christ over the law. Try using a bible commentary or a study bible, you will be enlightened. |
KunleOshob:Brother Kunle, it seems as if your problem is with pastors and not the tithe itself. You need to sort that out in your head. Your responses are bordering on the obsessive. |
@ neo welsh, thank you for that insight. Paying my tithe and saving my relative's life are equally important in God's eyes. But the question of using my tithe to save a relative's life would not arise if I do things in the right order. |
@ifyalways, babes, where you dey since? How life? I no just see your break light o. Kome, you are still on that whole 'ojuju calabar' quest. Let me know sha when you land. We get some serious 'ojuju' forest for my hometown. I'll take you there to experience nature if you are that inclined. All you newbies, wadoo. But seriously though, isn't it sad that the Isoko language is dying gradually? You don't see that many parents teaching their kids to speak it even when they are both Isokos. My extended family is replete with such cases. We speak pidgin as the official lingua franca at home. Is there anything that we can do to reverse this trend? |
@Tmoni, I've never heard of it but will ask my colleagues. There are quite a number of estates on this axis and it might just be tucked away some place by the sea. Available now: Mini flats in Lekki Phase 1, starting at N650k pa. 2 bedroom flat in Lekki Phase 1, N800k pa, N300k pa service charge which covers cleaning, generator and security. Very good location. 4 nos 3 bedroom flats for a corporate client. N1.5m pa per flat. |
To all who asked for Ibeju Lekki, there are plots going for from N400k, close to the free trade zone. I'll write individual mails for further discussions. Please bear with me. My internet connection is giving me nightmares at the moment. |
When you say you need one, are you talking about like a plot? If you are getting a plot in an estate, you pay about N700k upwards per plot. But if you are buying directly from the villagers, you are looking at something around N300k to N400k upwards depending on the location, as the further you go from Eleko and the free trade zone, the cheaper the land becomes. I would have sent you an email but yours is hidden. You can send a mail to me and I can give you details on what I have at the moment. |
@ayescopy, I think I know that property. But your prices are different from what I was given. I'll check it out on Monday. @blackis, I have to review that my Okun Ajah price. It seems my boss was sleeping when he was given the details of that property on one of those their Alpha Beach pepper soup spot nights. I'll confirm on Monday when I get to work. I'll give you a feedback then. Thanks for informing me. 2 nos 4 bedroom duplexes, with generator and gas burners already installed. No BQ in the house. N3m per annum, 2 years rent. |
@megastu, this surely is beef. I'm not talking about Mayfair which is pretty far from the estate I'm marketing. Please do your homework. I live and work around where I'm talking about. Surely, you that is living in Amsterdam cannot possibly have more information than I do. To all who have written, I've replied quite a number of you and I'm yet to reply others being a weekend. Besides, my internet connection is really really slow, I can only confidently work in the am. And I still have a busy day schedule, so bear with me if I've not replied your enquiries. Surely, by Monday, all emails would have been addressed. Thanks to all of you that have shown positive interest. I know this estate is on the high side. I'm working with a group of registered estate agents who are interested in developing estates in the Akodo Eleko area, near the Lekki free trade zone to bring something more affordable to everyone. |
@megastu, Dude, what is your beef? |
Flooding. The rainy season is here and many parts of Lagos are usually flooded at this time, more so Lekki Phase 1 because of poor planning and infrastructure and also, VGC. One of the unique features of this estate is that it has been developed in such a way that it empties out within a maximum of 10 minutes to combat the effects of flooding during the rainy season. The developers did their homework and planned the estate in such a way that most of the problems experienced in other estates are taken care. |
jumeks:The email I sent was returned. Perhaps you could furnish me with another email address. |
Ifyalways, long time. I didn't forget the Urhobo makkossa o. No one has been able to get it for me. How's life treating you in Cote D'Ivoire? Komekn, dawadawa is locust beans, a local seasoning. I'm not sure but I think it's the same thing as ogiri. You wan bring foreigners come Isoko? Hmmmm! With MEND and other Naija Delta militants on the prowl kidnapping at will? I wouldn't risk at this time sha. But be it to you according to your faith. I wouldn't really know where you could take them to experience our culture. I'll have to make enquiries about that. Besides, let it not be in this rainy season. Una go swim plenty. Olanajim, na here you and debosky dey meet? This na Isoko thread, not meeting and dating zone! ![]() Isoko wadoo. Where are all the Isoko people? Many of them just drop their names disappear. I beg make all of una report hia. |
