Dear Esteemed Nairalanders of extreme wisdom, I have a 4+ year old daughter who is very curious and sleeps on the same bed with me and wife. Some days ago she almost caught me and wife having sex, so in the morning she asked my wife what I was doing to her…lol. Most times I hug and kiss my wife in front of her and do same to her (in her case, a peck and she reciprocates back). This is our normal lives. Sometimes, when I hug my wife before her, she gets jealous..lol

I think we made a mistake in not allowing her get used to her room from day one. We had tried to make her see reasons why she can’t continue to sleep on same bed with us but it’s all falling on deaf ears. At a point, we forced her to her room and when she woke up around 2am, all hell was let loose, I felt sympathy and told my wife to allow her into our room.


We can’t continue this way, so I need your advice (especially married couples with kids)

1. Did we make a mistake by letting her sleep on same bed with us considering she is just 4?

2. Is it too late to force her to her room?

3. How do we go about making sure she gets used to her room without disturbing us?

4. If she asks what we are doing at night, like the case where she almost caught us, what would be a good reply that would sound logical and educative for her own growth.

5. Is her jealousy normal?

Her jealousy is normal, although, she's supposed to have gotten over it by now, since you guys must have been doing all that since she was a baby.
My 22 months old son used to scream and scratch faces whenever I hug his dad or whenever his dad kisses me, but he has gotten over it, and he's not even two yet, now, he claps and wants to join in.lol
You should have given her a separate bed, even if still same room, that's what I plan to do with my boy when he's two.

When I was in primary 5 or so, a boy in my class told me that he's older than me and that I should call him Broda Akin, I refused and he threatened to beat me up anytime he sees me, I thought he wouldn't dare initially, until one day that my mommy sent me and he started following me, I was to pass through a lonely bush path so I stayed in one shop until I saw an elderly woman passing and I followed her, immediately I got home, I told my mom and she went to his house and warned his mother that if he ever laid hands on me, she will skin him alive. Dude is married and very calm now.

Imagine how i was seriousely tacked then that no agent's name should be mentioned.
Now, see the result. One of our nairalanders who based in turkey categorically told me that he personally sent someone to check tsve office for him in ukraine but on getting there, he only met a private primary school there.
the office does not exist at all.
Assuming this has been posted before, the way i warned everyone about sergienko lawyer. I think this guy would have been saved.
Everyone should get me clear, we are in the information age. How would someone say that one should not mention agents name and when you know that they are fraud. And if any agent is doing well, let everyone has freedom by mentioning the agents name. But by telling the house that one should do his reseach at the back personally without asking from anyone that had dealing with such agent before is not good enough.
Now, for the sake of others that are planning to use "invitation in ua" God saved you if you are reading my article now because, they are fraud. I have used them and they sent fake documents to me. Only God saved me bcs i am yet to send the second part of the payment.
Now everyone in the house now knows that tsve, invitation in ua and sergienko lawyers are no go area.
An agents name should only be banned if it is for marketing but people should be free to share their experience as to save others from any pitfall. It is bcs we need timely information and that is why we are here. And as a nigerian, we all have the right to freedom of information and i think that the law on nairaland is also subject to the law of federal republic of nigeria. Then, why must we cage ourself?
I think it will be very bad for someone to be a member of this unique, enlightened and educated forum and still be falling into the hands of fraudster just in the name of not mentioning agents.
If any agent is good, let everyone knows why they are good to you and if any agent is bad, let everyone knows why they are bad to you.
Only the agents advertisement should be banned.

A lot of scammers are active on this thread, pretending to help out or pretending to look for help,
some have more than 15 old nairaland accounts, waiting patiently to strike,
what if these particular individuals comes here to promote a fake agent... spinning stories and "proofs" of how helpful the "agent" was and all that.
Then, desperate people that are looking for agents rushed them and got scammed.
Will you take responsibility? Of course you'll disappear, leaving the burden for the quiet moderator.

The avoidance of mentioning agents here, especially recommending agents is for the benefit of people here.

I couldn't drink water for 9 months,so hubby always mix it with very chilled sprite.
Our kitchen was locked all through my pregnancy(hubby no sabi cook lol), I really love cooking but I just couldn't stand the smell of my kitchen, hubby washed the kitchen floor and cupboards with hypo and bought new set of air freshener, but I only got even more irritated. I didn't have any yeye cravings tho. Couldn't even eat well.
So,we relied on restaurants for the period of my pregnancy.

if news & stories are anything to go by, would you consider a nanny or maid safe hands.
