What did you face in EKSU? I'm aware that you pay some amount of money for your certificate in that school. This is not illegal as it is announced on radio. You also pay to the bank and you don't even have anything to do with the VC before you get your certificate. I'm also aware that many Unis. charge for certificates, although amount varies.

Think about it. You don't have to be necessarily taught by a bunch of professors to excel and to have a first class degree. So if you study hard and you're supposed to get an A, you will be marked down because "they don't get an A in that department". Is that a dignified response? Lecturers do what they like and are hardly called to question in public schools. Imagine a lecturer failing a babe for refusing to date him! And when you check her other courses she was headed for a first class! When she demanded for her script she was told it couldn't be found!! Can that lecturer dare it in a private uni?? When you're CONFIDENT and you know the stuff you're made of and you're provided the most conducive environment you will definitely excel, Mind you many students in private uni also graduate with a pass despite the money they pay. Also for CU I know for a fact that virtually all their courses are accredited.

He said until we pass through the hands of 6-10 profs and still maintain our good grades. That is what I'm made to believe in public unis. So my question is that how many profs are there in private universities?

Private university students get grades cos they pay so much for their education, so your little must be rewarded. I don't blame them for the high fees. at least they will pay their staff and maintain the school.

Poverty is not reduced by handouts, Poverty is reduced by authorities putting in place structures that initiate and sustain growth for years. If you think giving out rice in black nylon bags and handing them chicken at Christmas which they finished consuming in 1 week and they remain poor for the remaining 51 weeks is the way to go, good luck to you and your co-travellers.

& for your calculation, the claim that Fayose bought and gave out 100,000 bags at Christmas is complete hogwash.......pls show me how many warehouses you have in Ekiti to contain 100,000bags of rice. Try and calculate how many trailers would have brought the Rice into Ekiti..... Figure out the logistics of distributing 100,000 bags to the 4 corners of Ekiti, then you will begin to realise you have been sold a stinking dummy.

Pls give me the link. My point is that every government is wasteful but Fayose cares more about the common man. I don't support sharing of rice either but I'm just letting you know that Fayemi spent more on gifts than Fayose. Unfortunately, fayemi's gifts go to those who have enough. Let me educate you as an insider. Fayemi spent more during Xmas seasons during his time than Fayose did despite giving to the masses. Fayemi gave all past governors, speakers, heads of service and other high rank personalities bags of rice, cow and cash during the yuletide seasons while Fayose gave more to the masses than these politicians. I pray you don't know poverty else you'll appreciate this man.

I am fully convinced that the ekiti election wasn't rigged. They may be an ulterior motive of the military to rig the election but it didn't came to bear.You can ask INEC to bring the ballot papers for them to be counted again or you can even conduct the election ten more times and fayose would still have won. Now answer this question, if indeed the PDP had rigged the ekiti election, how come they were unable to repeat the same feat in osun in which the Apc won. FYI, it is very difficult to rig election in Nigeria nowadays, thanks to president Jonathan for his electoral reforms and for repositioning INEC

Don't mind these people jare. I was physically present in Ekiti during the election and I can categorically say the election was NOT rigged. Yes the FG used the military to intimidate the APC chieftains by arresting them and making their plans to mobilise votes by sharing money to the electorates not to work out. And may I say that if not for the presence of the military the APC must have rubbished the election through ballot box snatching and burning of INEC offices.


APC can even worse when it comes to using military to intimidate their opposition if they have the opportunity.

If you get opportunity there, accpet it. Nobody will give you the exact figure here but I can assure you of a good package plus some unannounced benefits. Waec is a good place to work.
