As good as Linguistics is, Nigeria does not appreciate it. i am a graduate of Linguistics and i know what I'm talking about. the market value of this course is still very low in Nigeria. Media houses in Nigeria still prefer mass communication to Linguistics. some will even ask you what Linguistics is all about as if its a new course in Nigeria universities. Fellow nairalenders, i wish to start my master's program by next year and infact the form is already out. A brother has promised to pay the fees but i need some money for the accommodation and my upkeep. Job hunt! Already getting fustrated. I've B.A (hons) 2:1. Tried all i could but no good result yet. Started a professional course but no money to complete it. Still in the struggle sha.

rasputinn: Rubbish story.Name one case where used scrathed cards were used as exhibits to trace criminal suspects.
I've discussed with some senior police officers and they laughed off the suggestion and opined that some yahoo boys may have started cloning recharge cards with info obatined from used ones,therefore maybe someone with one of the telecom operators just threw this story into the public domain to make people destroy the info the yahoo boys would otherwise have gotten from the used scratch cards.

People are so fearful and so gullible.Well I guess it comes with the territory

Hi guys! Pls don't look at them as scammers. I dont tink they are. I was there last week and I got to knw its more or else marketing job. But you are not marketing directly. You make appointmnt with group of people and they come to make presentation about health talk after which they you to do a test with them. They also give drugs i tink. After all these, you that fix the appoinment will get certain % of the proceeds. The money issue... I tink they want ppl who are commited. My opinion anyway. I was asked to drop money before the training buh i said i dont have any money on me. The lady later told me to come for the training buh i did't go.
