Xiaohei:We missed the bus when our ancestors didn't learn to keep written Records. If Necessity is the mother of inventions then Record Keeping is the Grand Daddy! |
The best Nigeria products are individuals like the former commonwealth gold medalist weightlifter that was discovered digging roads because he had fallen on hard times. Abandoned by Nigeria and yet when asked why he was digging roads he stated that he wanted to give something back to Nigeria. Imagine. That man is a treasure not jappanese dingbats. |
Amb1045:Best Products as a term for what you mean is questionable. If an individual trains in Nigeria, utilises Nigeria resources, however you may quantify those resources, becomes the highly qualified professional those Nigeria resources were made available to produce for the benefit of rank and file Nigerians, but for selfish reasons those professionals abandon the people of Nigeria whom they enjoyed Nigeria resources to help, how can such individuals be the best Nigeria products? |
For me Jealousy is the worst trait possible. Jealousy is the mother of the worst aspects of humanity, from stealing to murdering. Nigerians are rare in not generally being jealous people. This has always fascinated me about Nigerians among the rest of Africa. Black people's chief problem is jealousy. It is at the root of black people's failure not slavery or colonialism. |
This blaming of yourselves and finger pointing one another without evidence, could it not be a weapon used against you by third parties. For instance, when India plaster so called Nigerians with drugs all over international media and suddenly the response in Nigeria media is to point finger at a particular Nigeria tribe, does this not deflect attention from the part played by Indians in supplying drugs to thire people? Those Asian caught with Nigeria oil in Guinea, what happened to them, why is it that the abiding publicity is not on them but on unverified corrupt "Nigeria officials" and shadowy "powerfull Nigerians" in power that may as well be as real as Dragons from Lord of the Rings since you can't produce them ? |
Those Malaysians and Indians on the oil tanker impounded in Guinea, what happened to them? Why is Nigeria not showcasing them? What makes Nigeria smarter than India for instance that parades so called Nigerians with drugs publicly and make it an international issue known by the entire world? When you read about Nigerians caught in India with drugs plastered all over social media, do you ever consider that they may be the victims of India corruption? Do you not instinctively see the Indians as sweet innocent people being targeted by evil, corrupt Nigerians? Do you routinely think that Corrupt Indians are behind it all, demanding drugs for distribution in India and exploiting Nigerian mules? Or cooperating with South America drug lords that use Nigerians as middle men? Why does India not privately arrest and prosecute these Nigerians and publicly hold themselves accountable and blame themselves for the drug trade in India? Why do Nigerians never demand that Nigeria charge and prosecute arrested drug lords, terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, Oli smugglers publicly so that justice is seen to be done by as much of the public and international community as possible? |
The Coward Principal and Simpleton complex: For instance, you have impounded a ship filled with illegally obtained Nigeria crude oil. You've detained ship crew from Asia. You have your evidence - solid material evidence at least! Yet some Nigerians are more interested in Fictitious Nigerian insiders that presumably facilitated the foreigners theft of Nigeria crude oil assets. I use the term Fictitious since unless you provide hard evidence in the form of detained Nigeria oil theft facilitators, your accusations are effectively fiction. Are the foreigners in hand not worth more than the alligations in NNPC ? By the way , you can as effectively deter oil stealing by handing out stiff sentences to those foreigners accepting undocumented bootleg oil as those providing the undocumented oil. Perhaps we lack the national significance in the international community to not only prosecute foreigners stealing our oil to the fullest extent of the Nigeria law but to do so in an air of public fanfare. Nigerians continually enable trouble in Nigeria by consistently pointing fingers at one another and ignoring the external trouble fermenters or formenters, whichever is the more accurate term. |

Nigerians are generally spotless though and do their best regardless of their background or circumstances. |
Anthony Joshua is possibly too decent for the boxing environment and should resign in lure of his future wellbeing. He wont be supported .The British public are not ready for black sportsmen and women that are not in the moronic stereotype mould they find comfortable. They will begrudgingly support you as a winner but you'll see possibly their truer hateful feelings when you're no longer a winner. Anthony Joshua, like a typical Nigerian, is a normal human being. Joshua himself possibly understands what I mean which is why he has tried to go Gantsa - one of the acceptable stereotype expected of blacks and beloved by the wider society. Entirely dependent on Britain like a dog is an archetype. Being big, dumb stupid and grateful (the coon) like Frank Bruno is another archetype. Be any one of these things and Brits may take you to their hearts. Joshua wasn't convincing as a gangster, will never be a coon, has Nigeria as a second country and he has lost his belts. He'll never be fully accepted by the British. He should jettison them and be mindful of himself. He has made millions, has been world champion, he is young and handsome, we Nigerians love him, there's no shame in turning his back on that boxing world. |
Another thing, e-get some black people wey go dey swell with vex like bull-frog when them see other black people dey achieve. This type of black person only get power for other blacks. Dem go lift dem game when given the opportunity. It is left to see what this Edwards does when confronted by the coming white and Hispanic challengers. |
Lagos steam tramway was a passenger and sanitary tramway that carried cargo and passengers within Lagos Colony. The tram was an important public transit system connecting travelers and merchandise from Ibadan and Abeokuta via the railway terminus at Iddo, mainland Lagos to Port of Lagos. The system ran from 1902 to 1933, it carried passengers and goods for twelve years from 1902 to 1914 and nightsoil from 1906 to 1933. https://newmapsoldlagos.com/images/bannervnow.jpg |
Following our attempted Green Revolution, perhaps we need a Transport Revolution. Provide the people trams, interstate and state railway systems, busses, coaches and ferries. End subsidies. |
Neimar:Not only him, sad day for true Nigerians interested in the sport or aware of what's going on! I know it's not a sad day for many Africans though. Many will be praying for the falconets to loose too. Africa is lost, Nigerians need to wake up. |
KingSatan:No nation has got it right. There is no Nirvana, all nations are developing. It may even be fallacy for me to add, "it's just that some nations are more developed than others", since, in the first instance, it may be erroneous to place Western nations as the ideal standard for Nigeria or others to emulate. The West is not Africa. |

You're free to create Jappanese T-shirts, thank me later. |
donaldking100:They wouldn't be able to match you physically, naturally, however, they succeed against black people due to training in some club martial arts form or boxing. Blacks in the West often become soft due to disadvantages of not having historic or generational wealth to draw upon. Generational wealth enables an individual more freedom and less time trapped in 9 to 5 employment. When you're trapped in the grind of trying to make ends meet, you're less inclined to porsue outdoors activities that improve or maintain your physical health. And If you're a parent, your disadvantages, impact or extend to your children In this way, you'll discover that white children enjoy more strength enhancing leisure activities than blacks. They go canoeing, hiking, camping, rock-climbing, fishing, traveling abroad on holidays and so on more than black children. In time, this erode the physical advantages, if any, that blacks naturally enjoy over them. Socially, this disparity can lead to healthier, more gregarious white young people and insula ghettoised black kids with penchant for bitching and knifing each other in thire narrow postcode world. If you're African blacks, your children's physical expressions may even be further impacted by fear of letting them go out where they may encounter these ghetto blacks and racist whites. |

Those praising Guinea and badmouthing Nigeria, what part of this did you find confusing: According to Maritime Executive, reports from the counties say Equatorial Guinea arrested the vessel contending that it illegally entered its water without permission as it sought to evade the Nigerian forces.Essentially: Nigeria maritime security did it's work , it detected suspicious activities, the ship ran off, Nigeria gave chase. The tanker probably tried to use international law as a means of preventing Nigeria. When the tanker entered Guinea waters, Guinea that was in contact with Nigeria and corporating, used the international law guidelines on territorial waters to, essentially impound the oil tanker. This now enables all concerned to investigate the matter.... |
Sabadon:Did you understand the article? |

The irony is that we are third world due to porverty but now we can no longer afford being a Third World nation. Third world infastructure can't handle internet age minds.... |
If you live in a mansion with numerous rooms filled haphazardly with the most expensive material acquisitions in the world, rats will sooner or later appear. The mansion owner will also find it difficult to rid the place of the vermin unless he or she organises the place better. Conversely if you live in the worst ghetto and inhabit a very tidy small house, you won't have vermin problem; at least, one you can't solve. Apart from the law and order, military investments, Border control, jobs and so on, organising cities better will help better control insecurity. I believe we're failing to see that we can use hard infrastructure like roads, buildings, town planning etc to fight insecurity. |
Nigeria has to start clearing or moving ramshackle communities far from the main city areas. Nigeria has to beging working on ordering cities, towns and villages. We can't |
