Nigerians should be wary of this type of vids and articles because their true intent may be to demarket Nigeria. Your progress is feared or not wanted by some nations in Africa and Asia. Nigeria needs to work with men like Elon Musk. The so called black world, i.e Africa, Africa Americans etc is not with Nigeria, they hate you Nigerians. In America they call you Nigerians Coons when they could so easily praise your examples that have challenged so many race based assumptions; in South Africa you're called thives and drug pushers when they could so easily praise your thrift and hard work; in some West African countries you're mucked as kidnappers and bokoharam and blamed for their crimes when they could so easily praise your businesses and investments; when you have issues with Nations abroad, Africans join them to call you criminals, drug pushers and prostitutes when they should be joining you in bashing their racism. You fought for Sierra Leone and Liberia, lost thousands of young bloods, but they praise UK and Indian peacekeepers and call you diamond thives, human right violators. Even some Sierra Leonians are on YouTube claiming that Nigeria were the creators of the boy soldiers that specialised in cannibalism and amputation. Nigeria needs to look after the interests of Nigerians. You have thousands in penury that need lifting out of poverty. Don't alienate your portential foreign markets and investors. Don't fight the Black Fight, blacks don't want you to, Blacks don't even know what they want. Blinded by Jealousy, they don't know what victory looks like! |
Keaton:And absolutely should. It wouldn't outstand anyone if it turned out that Mods, stakeholders, Niaraland owners generally, lead among those that eulogise "Abroad" informed by their disdain for the dysfunctionality of the Nigeria ecosystem. Yet this forum isn't even a victim of this dysfunctionality but an active participant and facilitator. It is courupt and many Niaralanders are corrupt without realising. Nigeria didn't corrupt them, they corrupt Nigeria. They are the scum oozing from the bottom of Nigeria to the top and hylighted in thire glistening repulsiveness for all eyes by social media exposure. The man that shouts the loudest, "Nigeria isn't worth dying for!" Is evidently the man that will sell the future of Nigeria's children to the Indonesians, Indians, Thais, Europeans for selfish gains. He is the type that collude with these foreigners to steal Nigeria's Oil. He excuses his bribery taking and stupidity with the notion that Nigeria isn't worth it. Yet the abroad they are all dying for wouldn't tolerate them. In Abroad, Niaraland would be taken down for incitement, racism and the promotion of all sorts of intolerance. |
Na obodo oyibo una want na obodo oyibo unu go get ![]() England for instance seem to exist in order to tax. If you own a vehicle, you have to run the gauntlet of Finds traps daily . |
Her parents need to invest in braces before it's too late like Ese Brume... |
GoooodHardDick:She was brought up in a nation, Nigeria, where men are expected to look after women, spend on them and so on. This is something Nigeria and Nigeria men should be proud of not ashamed. Much effort is put into raising Nigeria women and much is expected of men that wish to have them. If you as a Nigerian man can't spend on women accept your shortcomings as a man and move on instead of resorting to abuse Nigeria women or call men that can spend on women Simps. Nigeria women expect all men, regardless of race, to live up to the standard of Nigeria men. If she accepted less from this Chinese man or a white man some would be first to label her brainwashed and white worshiper. Unfortunately men of other African nations and men from other races can't match Nigeria men in this, perhaps leading to them abusing Nigeria women or , worst, this type of incident. May she rest in peace, daughter of Nigeria. |
Corridon:Trees planting will also help. Google states: Trees prevent soil erosion in several ways: They intercept rainfall which stops 'splash erosion' They reduce the amount of water in soil through transpiration. Their roots bind soil to sloping ground. They break the wind, preventing it from blowing soil away. For too long bush Nigerians have equated felling trees with being like Abroad. The mentality goes something like, "they have cemented everywhere abroad and built high-rise buildings so we too must do same". These plus exploitative farming methods and illegal tree logging .... |
All Nigerians have villages and personal land. If a Nigerian is incapable of any longer surviving in Lagos they should return to thire village and work the land. If not, they should be able to find support in their villages. Those okada that are not Nigerians could return to thire countries of origin. Lagos state should reinforce its aim by arguing that the insecurity in Nigeria was also part of its consideration for legislating against these Okada. If there is broad and supportable/corroborative evidence that terrorists have exploited this mode of trade to spread insecurity throughout Nigeria then Lagos state or any state in Nigeria has strong incentive to ban Okada. |
See how so-called black people are fighting hard to justify the killing of this woman by a Chinese man just because she is Nigerian. ![]() So what's the use of black people ? This is why I feel that Nigeria may as well favour Chinese immigration over those of blacks from elsewhere. At least the Chinese have construction skills. Blacks from other parts of Africa just have jealousy and bad belleh. |
Like the Danish man, Peter Nielsen, 54, now in prison and sentenced to die in Nigeria, this Chinese National will receive the appropriate sentence for this Crime. May her soul rest in peace. As for the Chinese, I still maintain that they are a better fit for Nigeria than Indians or whites. I personally prefer Chines to Ghanaians and many Africans as well as Indians. Unlike some Africans and Indians, the Chinese don't activily or passively undermine our interest. The best people to build our Nigeria infastructure however would be Nigerians but if we aren't able, whatever reasons, then the Chinese or Japanese are next best. If Nigeria had handed the construction of our rail to India, we would have no train lines on the ground today and I fear for Dangote refinery if he is reliant on Indians. The Chinese would have built a better Niger Bridge than the one Julius Berger is putting up in the East. They would have built a better, fancier bridge and completed it by now. Nigeria and any nation can always find ways of working better with expats. We need to establish the ground rules, ensure that all laws are respected, segregation prohibited etc |
jchioma:Record keeping is vital. I've worked out that lack of record keeping is the reason Africa is backward. Without culture of keeping written records, you will not develop a technological society, develope an all encompassing philosophy, evolve industrial scale farming, keep long lasting empires, improve on achievements, pass on societal leaning to descendants, keep consistent recipes and do nothing that you actually do, competently or expertly enough. Our chaotic environments has their foundation in poor record keeping. Regardless of any support, Oral tradition was simply too limiting. Slavery, colonialism, external meddling, greed, selfishness, tribalism and the other human vices is not the true reason for Africa or Nigeria's underdevelopment, lack of the culture of record keeping is the foundational cause. We missed the organisation that evolves from the industry that is required to keep and maintain records. Record keeping ecosystem is huge. |
Paxcalx:African countries that worship white people don't have terrorists, insurgency or insurrection problems. |
TimmyTen:You didn't think this through. |
Offpoint1:This is possibly why some Nations abroad crush civilian vehicles impounded for various traffic offenses instead of auction them. Authorities in Western nations view all civilians as portential dingbats and intact preventative measures to mitigate predictable areas of possible transgressions. |
Odunayomi247:The West is wicked but it is the West Nigerians want, especially Jappanese Nigerians. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DewnaaXBgM |
The law is the law and all should be guided by it; however, if I had won the bid, I'd hand the car keys and papers over to him |
Nairaland is relatively corrupt as any institution. Without cease, Nairaland empowers its local influencers to trivialise international crimes against Nigerians by positioning arguments that are primarily about human-rights violations and law and order to ones centred on party politics, even to the extent of encouraging and stoking ethnic divisions, lies and fabrications to achieve this end. In addition to Nairaland's own corruption, is a dimension, which borders on an inhumane callousness and disregard for all historically arrived at progressive principles. This should frighten ordinary Nigerians. |
Find and read the following: Kingsley OfosuThose responsible were prosecuted and the ship company had to pay fines, I think. |
VeryWickedMan:Whether monkey or not, Nigerians on here should be asking for the identity of the ship. According to the report, the ship departed from Nigeria. There should be records. Relevant Nigeria authorities should contact the so called "Nigerians" that made it on shore Liberia. These individuals need to provide written statements and thire nationalities need to be ascertained with the aim of fact finding in lieu of filing charges against the Ship's owners and crew if necessary. |
Sabadon:They are Wired like majority of humans. Leave people the opportunity to cut corners , they will do so if it serves thire selfish short term interest. When Lagos or other places in Nigeria put in place ways of catching and penalising antisocial behaviour, people will no longer commonly act antisocially. They will behave better not because they have suddenly become better people but because the alternative no longer serves thire selfish, short term, interests. You can't run a nation by penny pinching. Majority of people act like a body of water- ever ready to run into open channels. You can't leave open channels then complain about the nature of water. Oh, Nigeria water is corrupt, just look at how civilised and honest British water is ... |
The Mods will love this one. ![]() |
Noblesh:7 thousand years ago, Roman general Titus besieged Jerusalem. His army constructed a seven kilometre siege wall around the City in a mere three days, trapping the inhabitants inside. 3 Days! Today, the least Nigeria should do is tame the problematic forests of the nation, ring them with fence and road, make them national reserves. Nations from Kenya to Israel, from places in Europe to Asia to America have built walls and fences along their border but we claim we cant because our border is vast. Well, our problematic forests are relatively small. |
ecolime:Corruption is in human nature. If you're in your first forays into thought you'll remember that religion touches this. Nigeria will not naturally be rid of corruption. Nations manage corruption utilising artificial means. And, actually, National corruption should be a measure or effectiveness of the Nations superstructure. |
Jostoman:He is concerned about the dumping that led to the packing. |
Corridon:Stop exaggerating and lieing about Abroadness to people in Nigeria. There is nothing wrong in wanting Nigeria to be as good as you wish or imagine. Your dreams and wishes for Nigeria are special, the West does not deserve to be bestowed them. Your dreams are meant to make Nigeria better than anywhere else in the world. |
Many bush Nigerians are the ones that scream loudest about the so called horribleness of Nigeria informed by the wonderfulness of Abroad as embellished to them by irresponsible dingbats. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGpRCHG0T4Y Wonderful Abroad where police are nice and give people presents |
drips8:So it was either Nigeria British or Biafra France.... |
