Techmogul: I can beat my chest anywhere in the world that I am a Lagosian. Whether you insult me on NL or not. My level of sophistication and excellent manners speak for me. Wish I could say the same for you. Cheers!
LMAO. You can claim Lagos all you want with your double ID. Registered since 2011 but with less than 50 posts. I guess this ID is activated when you want to be the Lagosian? Which one do you use when you want to be from Jigawa or Niger, and which for your real self that you are so ashamed to look at in the mirror?

Techmogul: First of all I would like to tender a disclaimer. The opinions expressed here on this forum by a few people on this thread claiming to be of yourba origin is not a general one. I am deeply ashamed and disassociate myself from such hateful, spiteful and malicious comments against the ibo's. We Lagosians are a very hospitable people. We accommodate people of different tribes and ethnic backgrounds, irrespective of state of origin or nationality. Its just so sad to hear that an insignificant few can tarnish our image by spewing all this senseless rubbish on NL. If you look around during the festive periods, Lagosians extend a hand of fellowship to their neighbors, be it sallah festivals or during christmas. Some of my best friends are not even Lagosians. So i find it very upsetting the number of hate messages spread by 'false' Nigerians on this thread. I want to apologize on behalf of all Yorubas for the shameful and disgusting treatment meted out to those involved in the deportation incidence and also to call for understanding and peace not just from our ibo brothers but from all Nigerians at large.....
Fake a$$ double ID claiming Yoruba. Who do you deceive? When will you fools ever learn? Well that's an oxymoron; fools never learn.

sucess001: My God....I wish I can meet you. Your comment is d best I ve ever read on NL. Intelligent and on point!
Wouldn't you be better off meeting one of your kind? As in the tribalist Igbo that call Yorubas lazy and dirty? Now you are all appealing to pity. Where did all the chest beating go?

skenod: Wow, so if your poor and broke, you can be deported in Nigeria to your state of origin, how about the rich people from that same state as the deported ones who are investing and creating jobs in Lagos, even India is smarter than us, I have never seen something like this before, Maybe Nigeria should practice con-federalism instead federalism where the states will have more power to set up their immigration system, I remember Ojukwu demanded a con-federation for Nigeria during the Aburi accord just before the Nigerian civil war, now I know why the Nigerian capital was moved from Lagos to Abuja.
Yay! Ojukwu the genius that gave us the idea of confederation. Mugu. Before Ironsi came up with unification and his other policies (which Ojukwu's hailed) Nigeria basically operated as a confederation. So what's new?

Praise5: Why do yorubas run to igbos for money when hunger is threatening them, only to come back after a dirty "ofe mmanu" meal and start claiming ownership? I really do not understand your ranting and cursing because it did not stop our containers from entering ladipo even yesterday that I'm sure of. Your claims will not stop me from feeding your useless alaye boys or buying your lands when you need to host graduation party after apprenticeship as a vulcanizer. it won't stop you from renting your good houses to igbos, only to relocate back to one smelly hut in ur Ijebu garri.
Guys try and get lives of your own and stop worshipping the almighty Igbos!!!
It sure says a lot about you that the only Yorubas you know are the lower-class Yorubas. Believe me, there are Igbo men in the upper class who mingle with upper class Yorubas.

Then I will advise you get yourself a pair of Trekkers and start making the rounds of all states. Without having to do that, I have seen enough psychiatric cases of Igbo extraction walking nude around environs in Lagos.

antartica: If ibos weren't missed, why did yoruba fought so hard to keep nigeria one?Why didn't they just leave the hausas with it and declare their own odua republic and thrive on cocoa and pounded yam?If they had done, all these tribal nonsense would have longed be settled.
It seems you dunces will never get it. Yorubas stood by and were neutral until you fools dragged the Yoruba into your fight by pushing into Yoruba land thru Edo till you were stopped at Ore. Next time you have a fight, face your opponent squarely and don't go offend the people watching from the sidelines.

Truth be told; there was one Igbo mentally disturbed woman that used to roam about my area. And it used to rile me up that given the large community of Igbo people in the area she got no help. I no longer see her. She's probably been "reunited".

muktarl: let me make it clear to you now, each time ibos are killed in the north, fear grips hausa everywhere. but whenever yourobas are killed, its like a normal thing, because we know that they will never raise a finger. that is fact, they suffer and smile at the same time. an average hausa man fear the iboman to the marrow. come to the north and see how ibos are respected unlike yourobas.
Lmao. True, true! Even I have great respect for the ram I slaughter. I understand. In fact I know Igbos are worshipped in the North. Continue to deceive yourself.

muktarl: am not musiwa. am muktarl from Niger state. i keep saying it yourobas are the problem with nigeria. remove youroba from nigeria everything falls in place. we hausas can live with ibos but not yourobas. they are the worst thing to happen to nigeria. even the british knew it that was why they gave ibo president and hausa prime minister. yourobas were left out, it led to awoa comitting suicide after several atempts to topple an elect zik and balewa
Abi? Live with the Igbos by mistaking them for rams and slaughtering them in the thousands ba? You just have to slaughter something abi?

Dunce. I guess you also believe the lie you tell yourself? Sanu. Yaya haiki? Where in Niger are you from? Babangida Villa? Lmao.

antartica: The greatest illusion of the yorubas is that they think that they made lagos economically attractive.Their illusion can be likened to a full blown giant balloon that can disappears with a single punch tiny pins. When the people leave lagos, lagos will loose it essence.

Apart from few yorubas in corporate establishment, predominantly civil servants, the rest are areas boys/girls,preachers agberos, core tribalists and omoiles that are more or less nuisance to the society.
When which people leave? You will not be missed. You just don't get it. Were you missed after you all left during the Civil War? Go ask you uncles and then come back to answer.

The few brain cells you have has deteriorated due to bigotry.
Fashola's letter betray him as someone of low intelligence.
He couldn't even forge a convincing lie.[/quote]Dude get it right; Fashola would probably not draft or read that letter. All that he would do is give the go ahead. The only thing that will then link him to it would be the approval OF HIS OFFICE.

Have you seen that you reason via your anuz. Yorubas are asking for trouble and trouble they shall get soon. Mark my words.

Policewoman: This has shown once again that the lagos state government is made up of liars and deceitful people. I have picked up about 6 names there that are not from Anambra because the local govt areas quoted do not exist.

EMMANUEL OKON IKOLEGBENE
NDUBUISI KANU OGBOSHI
ANDY OSHONOGOR
JOSEPH ETO
GRACE UDOH
VICTORIA AGBOOLA

Is the fashola govt so dumb that they can no longer ascertain the origin of people properly before 'deporting' them?
If a Nigerian due for deportation from the UK lies that he is from Ghana, where do you think they will prepare his deportation to? Answer me quickly please.

PeterKbaba: EVEN THE NORTHERNERS NEW THE IGBOS IN THE 1960'S

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WSosECbcmM
I watched that a while back and it clarified several things:

1. The Sardauna was well educated and quite perceptive.
2. He apparently did not like the Igbos yet he formed an alliance with Azikiwe simply for political reasons (mainly to do away with Awolowo).
3. Making his view and perception know possibly signed his death warrant in the Igbo coup (yes it was an Igbo coup dressed up as patriotic and that story sold to Yoruba participants like Ademoyega) that was to come.
