bukatyne: Yoruba culture believes men and women are equal?
Do you care to share? I'm interesting in learning. First are you Yoruba or not? Second, have you noticed all those blasting Wuraola and Freeze (who happen to be Yoruba) are NOT Yoruba (specifically are Igbo)? We are from different ethnicities which do NOT share the same culture. Everyone is speaking for his/her own culture. Check which country first allowed women to vote. You will see Finland. Meanwhile women had a vote in Yoruba land through the Iya 'loja who represented them in the royal court long before 1893. I have long noticed the disdain from my Igbo neighbors when my wife represented the family at meetings. No Yoruba will find this odd. There is a reason Yoruba women were long viewed as free-spirited and independent. (e.g Mrs Ransome Kuti). No Yoruba family will give preferential treatment to the males over the females. What we believe is equality in diversity. |

bukatyne: Yoruba culture doesn't cater to gender equality. I doubt you are Yoruba. If you are not, I will advise you not to speak authoritatively on matters you are not conversant with. And if you are (Yoruba), I will advise you read more about your culture. |

Maybe you don't have rights in Igbo land. Women have rights in Yoruba land so speak to or for your people. |

You just made a bad situation worse. People who used to socialize with her in the Maryland environs of Lagos will tell you she is as Nigerian as you would ever get. Secondly, on her music speak for yourself if you cannot connect or understand. That merely shows your understanding of music. Most of her music is in the genre of Lover's Rock (Reggae) which shouldn't be so foreign to any African. Does she appear Nigerian to me? DOES SHE APPEAR NIGERIAN TO ME? Jezuz. My wife is Nigerian and they look pretty much alike. Does that answer your "question"? What does a Nigerian look like? *Befuddled beyond this Universe* |

LOL. Nigerians and their servile way of thinking. The fact that you are being called back to resign should have alerted you to the possibility that the firm has something to gain.
Check your employment letter. Most times it is a contract between you and your employer and whoever breaks that contract without giving a notice of up to 3 months will have to pay the other party "damages". This is usually about 3 months salary. So it's resign with 3 months notice or your employer terminates your employment with 3 months notice or either party is liable to pay 3 months salary in lieu of the notice.
Be very careful. You may tender your resignation and find out you still have to pay your employer 3 months worth of salary. |

Only then will some of this religiously intoxicated religious bastards learn. Really? Is there a new need for a law dealing with punishment for murder? What has always been the punishment for committing murder? |
