What you are calling for is censorship. This is one of those by products of western education that is destroying our culture. In our culture we don't need laws to know that we have freedom of speech. We all say what we feel but some people want to suppress that. They say "you can say what you want but . . .", and therein lies the problem. They want to structure my speech for me. They want to introduce their own morals to my thoughts. The way I must express myself have to be scrutinised so that I don't hurt anybody's feelings. Political correctness gone wild.
I can say that NL is one of the few openly bastions of freedom still in existence and the owners will be foolish to allow impostors like you to sway them into restricting our ways and manners of expression.
This is us This is our reality Deal with it |

londoner: The distrust and dislike is sickening actually. I have to say it is very raw and vicious on this site in particular.
I have lost some pride in being Nigerian through what people say here (and probably mean) each and every day. Not one day passes without sweeping negative generalisations made about whole tribes of people. That is a trait which cuts across tribes.
If it did not cut so deep, it would not still be seen every day on this site.
As someone who has not grown up in Nigeria, it is slowly making me want to withdraw from this site. There have been many times when I have read things here from all tribes which made my jaw drop in shock and my stomach turn with disgust.
It just shows just how far away from being a nation Nigeria really is and it is very unlikely we will ever get there when we refuse to lay down our swords, address past grieviances, forgive, and make steps to leave it in the past where it belongs.
To be honest I'm not sure I want to be a member on this site anymore, it does not build me up as a Nigerian, because I first came here to fraternise with Nigerians and those of Nigerian heritage.
I now see that although I have learned many things, it has also been quite damaging to the image I had of Nigerians.
It has made me realise there is something wrong with Nigerians when we come together, we can be toxic.
It has made me very very ashamed at times. nobody forced you to join this site, so the door is open. who r you that we should care about your image of us? make shame kill you for london there because unlike your govt. controlled and censored websites, NL is free. nigerians are free to hate each other and also free to discuss about it on this forum. so carry your disgust go watch your sky news breaking news about blacks killing blacks in london. |

ivoice247: Allah (GOD), The Originator of the Heavens and The Earth, The First Without A Beginning and The Last Without An Ending!
How can you dispute the existence of Allah while you are a witness of how Allah created you in the womb of your mother, how Allah shaped your body, gave you eyes, nose, hands, feet and everything else, then allah commanded the angels to breathe a soul while you're still in your mother's womb or did you create yourself ? Don't you know that everything around you has a someone that created it? Look around you, at your houses built by builders, your furniture built by carpenters, the cars, roads, bridges by engineers, your food by farmers and so on. Look around you again, nothing in this world just appears without a creator, so do you think that the mighty heavens, earth, trees, animals, moon, stars, sun, planets and so on just appeared on their own? Of course Not!
And do not doubt the day of resurrection, when your belief and actions will be judged. You'll be brought forth from the earth just as how the vegetation and the trees come out when you plant the seeds. Have you planted tomato seeds before; don't you see how the tomato sprouts out of the earth full again after you had already eaten it before re-planting the seed in the earth. That's how your body to will sprout out from the earth on resurrection day after it had already been eaten up by the earth and turned to dust. As Allah states in the glorious quran;-
O mankind! If you are in doubt about the Resurrection, then verily We have created you from dust, then from a mixed drop of male and female intimate discharge, then from a coagulated blood then from a little lump of flesh - some formed and some unformed (as in the case of miscarriage) - that We may make clear to you Our Power and Ability to do what We will. And We cause whom We will to remain in the wombs for an appointed term, then We bring you out as infants, then give you growth that you may reach your age of full strength. And among you there is he who dies young, and among you there is he who is brought back to the miserable old age, so that he knows nothing after having known. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down rain on it, it is stirred to life, and it swells and puts forth every lovely kind of growth. ( سورة الحج , Al-Hajj, Chapter #22, Verse #5) did you visit jamaica recently? https://www.waynebesen.com/uploaded_images/smoking-ganja-712904.jpg |
