Some driver r wicked and dubious yaking advantage of riders especially on uber.

The lady I just dropped off now requested a ride and driver was within instead of the driver to drive to the end point on the map he was saying he doesnt know where rider is when rider called him. She waited and thinking driver was coming called again but the dubious guy still didnt show up. She was charged N400 for canceling after 5min.

Lets be human in our dealings.

Same Oil brand from different country or region will come with a different packaging and maybe quality and price, doesn't mean one of them is counterfeit

Not new. Here in Nigeria, madmen control traffic while the "sane men" will jejely obey . Funny enough, they are very efficient and even perform far more than those who receive salaries at the end of the month for the same task

After taking my time with 3 stops around chevron drive, ride ended at 800, she gave me 500 and wanted to transfer 300, I said that’s ridiculous, make she Kuku do 800. I gave her 500 and called out account no.

She said done and rushed out. I wasn’t expecting alert as Access bank can be dull with that. I logged in to my account few minutes later and saw 600 instead of 800.

In as much as the money is insignificant, I don’t like people playing a smart one on me.

This is possible but the problem is that I have parked the car for hours only for neighbours to call around 3am(like 3hours later) to inform me about the car that is on fire

Please, why do i see drivers complaining about hold-ups....i think it's best for us as fares will be increasing the more we are delayed, or am i getting it wrong? I don't know why but I keep seeing this guy in my dreams, though we were so close when he was alive (we usually go to set trap for bushmeat when the two of us return to the village when he was alive)

Before his death (a truck hit him and he died at the spot) I had a dream and I saw the two of us walking on the road, I hit my feet on a stone and fell down and he was unable to lift me up and I was asking him to lift me up but he was unable.

He died in June 2018 since then I have been having dreams about him which I do forget immediately I woke up.

But last week, I saw the two of us clearing weed in a farm and this morning I had another dream where we (his junior bro and my elder bro) were laughing and joking together, eating and drinking together.... he later went and wore my clothe in the dream, he wore the inner side of the clothe..

Could this be a message or a coincidence.

Yes the employee was taken to jail after she was shot dead, am sure next time she won't forget whatever a customer order for else she will be shot dead again and taken to jail and maybe this time life sentence...

What was the bad thing I said ? Did I say uber drivers are not uneducated? Please read over and try to understand... The level of exposure I talk about is from experince from working in customer care industry.. That is the exposure am talking about.. The insults I get at times will make u want to slap some people ..
So when drivers complain about Nigerian riders rude behaviour. My point is that I have dealt with worse behavior and some were physical too .. That is part of exposure that I was talking about. And in the past experince I could have press police charges. And some industry requires higher care of customers service and others don't.. But at the end of the day jobs in the USA will require some type of customer care service..

And another example the people that work at McDonald's, Dominion Pizza ,KFC etc. Do you know what does people face at the hands of some customers.. It was in the news ago that a customer order some food at a drive through restaurant.. The customer came back and shot the employee ,because they forgot to give hot sauce or something like that .. She was arrested and taken to jail ..

Maybe if it is possible to do research for few months ..we can compare Nigeria riders vs USA in both hostile environment and sane environment.... Years ago before uber, taxi drivers were getting rob and killed in New York and other parts of the US. Even with uber now, drivers were getting assaulted, accuse of rape etc. A lot of drivers starting installing cameras in their car ....If a person is bad, the person is regardless the environment.

The best way to curb bad riders in the Nigerian environment is to follow uber policy.... If you are ask to do something against policy of uber . You calmly say no and rate them accordingly .. Most drivers am sure don't even rate their riders.. The rating system is to help weed out bad riders and driver .. So rate them...

Now if you can't handle rude riders, that yell and scream etc .. And than you get easily upset and angry.. Uber is not for you.. Because even in the USA you have those type of ghetto riders or co worker that gets you so mad that you just want to land them hot slap.. So if you are landing everyone hot slaps that disrespects you , you either end up in jail or dead.. Yankee is free country, we have more private gun owners than any country in the world.. How you handle situation matters o ...

It is not a matter they can make it anywhere .. But once you are in control environment that has consequences for breaking the law or consequences for their actions. You have no choice other than to complied and behave....

Most of uber drivers in Nigeria saying they can't take sh*t from any rider .. Most would not try that in the USA, regardless of immigration status .. The way you think the outcome might be, might be different from the reality.. . For example you beat up a female rider in the USA, or not even beat her ..You happen to push her and she calls the cops. You thinking that camera no dey na my word against the woman. You already thinking nothing go happen, . The cops shows and sees the rider crying.. The cop will automatically arrest for assault charges. Now you now have to go to court to prove your innocence.. That include getting a lawyer and paying for. And depending on the outcome you might have a record on your file .. You are now out of a job, so what is next after that.. My point is to handle the situation smartly .

At the end of the day, your approach matters when dealing in a hostile situation... A lot of you guys on the forum will not survive Customer care service industry abroad. You either end up in jail or out of a job or both. Nobody is asking anyone to take sh*t from anybody, but learn to handle situation accordingly ....
