I'm not even a social media addicts/freak. I'm on the Internet for informative purposes only.

And I'm very stern.

The baggage that come with human interaction is very avoidable. I'd rather err on the side of caution.

wesley80: You my friend, are and imp with an even less formed faculty, your post makes it all too obvious that your ability to reason beyond the mental capacity of a turd has been irredeemably atrophied by your constant flirting with idiocy.
If u could think right without having your own foolishness obfuscate your reasoning you'd know this thread isn't about vindicating anyone but celebrating the movement and celebration of the Gospel EVEN by men of VERY HIGH AUTHORITY in a period this same Gospel has come under immense, sustained and unprecedented attack (regardless of the cause). But how's a shameless demon infested dysfunctional mind supposed to decipher all that?
It's been an eventful few weeks for Christians and especially Nigerian Christians in South Africa with the Synagogue collapse and the Oyakhilome divorce case all portraying two of Nigeria's largest Christian brands and mission activities negatively, So how's an endorsement from the highest authority in the land not worthy of some recognition?
I can understand you demon inspired imps picking on men of God out of your ill motivated desires to portray Christianity negatively afterall It's the "mission" you've been set on, but please do not extend your idiocy my way because if you taka me, I go dabor you!
Get thee behind me Satan!!!

Thanks for letting us know you are not in Nigeria. Thanks for hinting that you might possibly look non-sweaty and fresh. Thanks for your concern for us back home who are sweaty, smelly and 'farty'. In fact, some of us look and smell like shi.t. Do you guys shi.t over there? No you don't. You perspire all your waste products through your skin and exhale the rest through the lungs. Yeah- you're that and a lot more. But guess what? What you look like is not going to improve the prognosis for drug-resistant tuberculosis. What you smell like is not going to decrease our maternal mortality rate. Neither is it going to buy me my next carton of condoms. So save it!!! It's very irrelevant!!!

Doclight: lolz.

What is wrong with the "nigerian human"?

And what makes the "non-nigerian" better?
The average Nigerian human is a piece of work. And you don't know who is "average" and who is "reasonable". So it's safe to assume they're all "average" until they prove you wrong.

I'm not saying non-Nigerians are better. I'm sure the same would suffice if I had the chance to interact with them on a large scale.

I don't understand why some of you go to lengths to vindicate a man of his own shortcomings. So because the president of an African country "hugged" this man, it now means he is increasing spiritually. Dammit!! Some of you think with your anuses shamelessly. There should be an IQ criteria before topics are posted on Nairaland. The foolishness is getting out of hand !!

PhonesRe: Naija Smartphonomics: The Economics Of Buying A Smart Phone In Nigeria by lomaxx: 9:34pm On Sep 28, 2014
My problem with some Nigerians is that they cannot live their lives(meagre as it may be) without drawing unnecessary inferences from the lives of other people. If a young man chooses to buy a #100k phone and beg for #20 bread, that is his business. If you bought a used Tecno phone and you're making all the money in the world with it - congratulations! But if Mr Johnson decides to buy the iPhone 6 plus and still uses a cab, that is his business.

I read on this thread from someone (whom I will later refer to a psychiatrist) that if you use a #50k phone, then you should have a car. If such fellow had a car, he won't be here spewing rubbish. Buy your 10 naira phone quietly and use it quietly.

I jejely seek the attention of the preacher and told her what she has been doing since and she kept distracting the church congregation... At first d preacher wanted to pardon her because she fine, trust niggas nah, dey all yelled at her and the pastor, she was forced to leave the church by the welcoming team...

Why would you borrow money to do wedding? Is it an investment? It's the height of financial foolishness. Nigerians should stop this attitude of trying to impress people with what they don't have. Ater the wedding nkor? What would you use to feed your wife and children? Besides any woman that cannot understand that there's more to life than an extravagant wedding should find place and chill. Your ilk should be banned for mentioning Chinua Achebe (may his soul rest in peace).

You should rather say "I don't need you to enlighten me on what I already know". How did you pass WASSCE?

See? Just when you thought it was so simple. It shamed you (and whoever liked your post) right in the face.

You never heard of summary? undecided
It's not a comprehension. You do not read a comprehension. Comprehension is the reason for reading with the intent to see if you understand or connect to whatever you are reading.

Focus on learning how to use the right terms while communicating before advising the OP to use a summary. First things first

Typical Nigerian. When it is beyond them, they'll rant tigers and elephants.

Largas: Thanks a lot.
Sir, I have an off-topic question I sincerely wish you will attend to.
Please, with your wealth of experience and knowledge on the health sector, would you kindly explain to me in details between medicine and pharmacy which is better in Nigeria's economy?
A youngster asked me that and I don't know what to answer.
The outcome of any profession does not depend on the profession but on who is practicing the profession - in any economy. Being a doctor is not a free-ticket to a good life. Every profession has its perks and downsides- no matter how promising it may seem on the large scale.

I make no assumptions. I don't know how pharmacy works- so I can't give specifics for that area. As for medicine, being a doctor affords you the intimate exposure of all aspects of patient care in raw material form. It is now left for you to decide what you want to do with that knowledge. Including making money in this same Nigerian economy.
Christianity EtcRe: Pls Who Gave Birth To Cain's Wife..the Beginning Is Too Confusing by lomaxx: 10:59pm On Sep 24, 2014
RhemaGospel: Cain could never have married any of his sisters because at his age they were not born, and Bible says that he left the Presence after he was cursed and took a wife for himself (at that time the sisters had not been born). But there is a whole lot of answers to that question upstairs. Only that I can't really type it here. If only you are interested, lets meet on whatsapp 08144930405
You can't type it here? Really? Are you suddenly hemiplegic?
EducationRe: Help: I Have Been Given Admission From My School But Not From Jamb by lomaxx: 3:04pm On Sep 24, 2014
Doclight: pardon. I doubt. Jamb is the board in charge of matric. U must b issued admission by jamb. Ur school only admits who the find worthy, but must be authentified by jamb. Havnt u heard of a scenario when jamb rejects a particular list? Anyways just my assumptions
Chap chooses university in UTME. Chap writes UTME and makes University cut-off point for that course(irrespective of JAMB cut-off). JAMB sends list of students who made JAMB's cut-off to the University. University sets their admission criteria(via post-UTME). University selects the students from the chaps on Merit and other criteria. University sends list to JAMB after it has been ratified by the senate. Any university that sends the admission list to JAMB first will be reflected on the JAMB's portal . Student matriculates and signs a matriculation register . He is now a certified student. The final list would be sent to JAMB as matriculated students of that University.

That's why JAMB means JOINT ADMISSION AND MATRICULATION BOARD not NIGERIAN ADMISSION AND MATRICULATION BOARD. Joint because they're doing admission and matriculation JOINTLY with the University

I make no assumptions.
EducationRe: Help: I Have Been Given Admission From My School But Not From Jamb by lomaxx: 2:54pm On Sep 24, 2014
Largas: Bro. Uniuyo admitted me into Pharmacy this year. I'm number 101 on their list on uniuyo's website. But at that time, uniuyo had not released the admission list to JAMB portal so all of us were patient with them. JAMB portal kept repeating 'sorry no admission given yet'. Yet we waited. Then this morning someone on uniuyo admission thread reported that uniuyo admission list is now on jamb portal, I don't know if the news is authentic, yet I rushed to JAMB portal to bring out my aadmission letter, only to now see ' congratulations!!! You have been admitted to our savior institute of science and technology(poly), Enugu state.

It was difficult to believe initially, even as at now. So, I'm confused. What do I do now? Please help a confused and sad brother.
Shi.t happens with JAMB. The school that gives you the admission first will be the first to reflect on the JAMB website. But that is not a problem. There's something called Acceptance of Admission. That's why every school mandates that you accept their admission after you have been admitted. This is done by paying a mandatory acceptance fee and following the necessary screening procedures. If school XYZ admitted you first and it is appearing on JAMB portal, so far as you did not accept their admission, you're safe.

University of Uyo would issue you a matriculation number (most potent evidence of admission) and an admission letter provided you were admitted by the university and you did the screening exercise.

Have no fear. Our educational system is a joke.
EducationRe: Help: I Have Been Given Admission From My School But Not From Jamb by lomaxx: 10:28am On Sep 24, 2014
It's not a problem. If your University gave you admission and the list was authenticated by the Senate of the University, the admission is genuine. The list would be sent to JAMB to reflect the necessary changes(if it hasn't been done already). Jamb might take a while to issue you admission letters but the University will definitely issue you an admission letter which can ALWAYS be used in lieu of the JAMB Admission letter.
