RomanceRe: Would You Still Go Ahead With The Wedding? by lomaxx: 10:30am On Oct 23, 2014
Ibiyomee:
HER VIRGINITY
You met and dated a girl when you were in the University, she was a virgin when you met her, and you both agreed not to have sex until your wedding night. The two of you became graduates but were jobless for 4yrs. However, after many years of suffering, she later secured a job for you in one big Company where you were paid close to N900,000 per month. Things were now going well with you and you finally proposed marriage to her, she accepted but after a few sec, tears began rolling down her cheeks. You asked her what the problem was and what you heard was...
I'M SORRY LOVE, AM NO LONGER A VIRGIN, I GAVE MY VIRGINITY TO YOUR BOSS BEFORE HE ACCEPTED TO EMPLOY YOU IN THE COMPANY. THAT'S THE ONLY CONDITION HE GAVE ME IF YOU MUST BE EMPLOYED OR YOU WOULD CONTINUE TO REMAIN JOBLESS"
Hmmm....
Assuming you were the guy, would you still go ahead with the wedding?
And as a lady, can u do such for your love?
As for me hell NO! And if i would then i will go give it to him(boyfriend) first before going to the boss.
LET'S HEAR YOUR OPINION NAIRALANDERS....
Babe denied a nigga puss.y for 4 years only to give it to her boyfriend's boss in one fuc.king session.

4 bloody years of konji without resolution...

If I were the guy, it wouldn't even be the wedding.... it would be the job. How can you work with the only man that took your wife-to-be's virginity from you?

It is not even the virginity. I personally detest virgins for obvious and self-righteous reasons. It's the knowledge that my woman was fuc.ked by another man.

Despite temptations, I try as much as possible to stay faithful. And I deserve/expect the same from my woman. Anything other than that, it's a done deal.

To hell with such a job abeg.

To hell with the babe and the wedding as well.

There's more to life than earning 900,000 monthly without peace of mind and satisfaction.

No matter how difficult life may seem, there would be light at the end of the tunnel. It might only take time. But one day - a miracle would happen.

Hi one, hi all.
I am confused. I am studying pharmacy at uniuyo. And I want to gun for post-graduate studies abroad, say Canada or UK.
The problem is I was admitted into uniuyo with my complete NECO result, when running my post-graduate abroad will I be disqualified/rejected for having NECO certificate instead of WAEC?
And, if yes I will be disqualified, can I write WAEC just before I conclude my undergraduate studies? In order to pursue my post-graduate with it?
Lomaxx and co, help a brother out please.
You won't be disqualified. All they'll need would be your university transcript and your good GRE scores. If they ask for O levels, your NECO result is one.
FamilyRe: Her Husband Finds Her 15 Year Old Niece Attractive? :o by lomaxx: 6:12pm On Oct 14, 2014
free2ryhme:
Shouldn't husbands only find their wives attractive and nobody else? Is she overreacting? Does she need to feel threatened by her niece?
Finding another woman physically attractive doesn't mean he has found her more attractive than his wife. That a man was carried away by a brief moment of physical stunning beauty he isn't used to doesn't mean he will choose the other one over his wife. I don't know why some of you keep failing to realize that beauty is a spectrum - and physical beauty is just one end of that spectrum.

Some of you women really surprise me with the way you think. With the way you folks behave like you've got men all figured out, one would expect some common sense with self esteem as an addendum. Sadly, that rarely happens.

Tell madam to calm down. She should work on her self esteem.

So if her husband keeps meeting hot women, she'd pee in her pants no?

This is an insult to the female folk angry
In 2014, you're still shocked that females are blasting guys undecided
Dey there na cheesy
In Nigerian medical schools, females stand at a more advantage than the males. This is a fact! Male medical students have to work harder. It's better experienced than explained - those that are already in clinicals understand this. Those that are not yet in clinicals, when you get there pay close attention to how your MALE consultants and the residents teach/treat your female classmates- contrast it to how you are taught/treated even when you're eager to learn.

Lets not even go there- don't you see how eager your seniors in school are eager to pass acada stuff, lecture materials, past questions to your female classmates?. When you go to meet them, they start talking about Man United and Goodluck Jonathan. It's already a male-dominated profession so you know the drill. It's not a level playing ground for everyone.

I can still remember my Pathology viva voce exam, my female classmates were telling me the questions they were asked. I was like wtf!! When it was my turn to tell them my own, they said I didn't pray. But we all passed the exam - some of us had to work harder.

At this point I rest my case. I'm not saying female medical students do not study - of course they do. But when it comes to the little things that make the big difference, they're more advantaged. Thank God for the internet and YouTube- it would have been worse.

Alutacontinua, how was your surgery? I mean your gender-swap surgery. Hope it was successful. You're showing signs of complications grin grin

When you are inducted, you are given a temporary license which is valid for two years. You should do your housemanship within this period or risk writing your final exams again.

After that, you go for nysc. Your permanent license comes after nysc. So I won't advise anyone who just graduated to run outside. Make sure your feet is stable in your home country before we start hearing stories that touch the lumbar spine.

Chartey:
The 8 years is almost normal now. Without strikes, medicine is 7 yrs in most schools na. If you come add all these strikes join e go enta 8 yrs.
The 2006 set in my school just finished housemanship with all the strikes.
2007 set were inducted 4 months ago.

And in my opinion, they overstayed. So EBSU's case was on the extreme given the accreditation suspension.

I am an obvious victim of strikes in Nigerian University. When I began 400 level in August 2012, our Faculty slated our date of graduation for May 2015. But between then and now we've had an 8 month ASUU strike, a 2 month NMA strike which will prolong the calendar by almost a year.

I believe there is a management insensitivity in the administration of most Colleges of Medicine in this regard. We can't keep spending 8 to 10 years in school to study a 6 year course on the flippant excuse of strikes. When it comes to strikes, other students in other departments are barely affected - unless the strike is very long. In my school, the VC cut short all holidays to 2 weeks. What is the result of that? Folks that were admitted with me on 4-year courses have been shortlisted for nysc, those on 5 year courses are rounding up. And my brother that was admitted into the Faculty of Engineering when I was in 400 will be graduating with me.

My point is other departments have a way of getting their academic calendar back on track despite the strikes- but not medicine. We don't run semesters. We run stretches of sessions without holidays and our sessions lasts from 13 - 15 months on the average (18 months for preclinicals). So these strikes shouldn't be affecting us. There should be some kind of waiver. Or they should come up with strategies to avoid involvement in these strikes.

I have to mention that CMUL has made so much progress in this regard. I have friends in cmul. Between my 400 and 500, my 200l friends in cmul then are now in 400l. And all of us have had the same strikes. We keep spending 8 years in school and soon some people will get tired. The motivation factor is very important. Besides, there's more to life than spending endless years in med school.

helen4:
Yes. Marriage is a black market. For example, when u buy petrol from blackmarket, for sure u know you bought petrol, getting home, you're about about to pour the stuff into whatever you need it, then you discover there are particles, do you pour it away? The best you can do is to filter it and it will be good go. samething applicable to marriage.
Then I'd rather stay unmarried. No be by force.

jozeph1: Have you guys ever thot of nursing science or perhaps going to a nursing school cos as far iam concern after a doctor in a hospital the nurse is next, he/she can asssit during surgery (scrub nurse)
they're wide range of speacialties in nursing(cardiothoracic, orthopedic, paediatric, or even being a nurse aneasthesiologist who earns more than a houseman officer in hospitals
if you cant do mbbs, you might wonder consider nursing cos both med and nursing are clinical science
both are being thot biochem, microbio, anatomy and physiology like med students
Don't study nursing thinking that after a doctor, the nurse is next. At the risk of sounding immodest, after a doctor is another doctor. And after that second doctor is yet another doctor. There is no profession that can replace the training and responsibility of a physician/surgeon. Some people carried this thinking and studied other courses because of its "medical" connotation - today they're seeing the reality is different. MBBS is MBBS ! Do your research well.

If you want to be a nurse, be a nurse because you want to. That is more important.
