Actually, i was using 3 plastic tanks before i decided to expand small and construct two concrete ponds making 5 all together.

So when i sorted, i did for concrete and i did for the tank seperately, i didnt mix dem togeda.

Wich made me more confused, cos i was expecting the ones in the concrete to be bigger but to my surprise they were not.

I stocked 150 each in concrete pond and 50 in each plastic tank.

I need some advise on an issue bothering me presently, i recently upgraded my tank pond to concrete pond.

Relocating the tanks to another area, i stocked both the tank and concrete at d same time but i sorted both the tank and concrete pond of recent and i noticed that the juveniles in the tank are doing great and the ones in the concrete not so great.

I did all pre stocking operations on d concrete pond quite well...at least to d best of my knowledge and from the ones i learnt from this thread.

I just want to make enquiries if there is anytin I can do or not doing to boost up the growth of the juveniles in the concrete pond...

In my opinion, once you add value to your product, it will definitely sell more than raw product.

Smoked fish will sell more than life fish because most times u are selling life fishes to people who are goin to resell it, they try and negotiate the price so that they can also make profit from ur labour but for smoked depending on d market u can be dealin directly with the final consumer which makes its more profitable.

And u dont need to get to 1kg bfor u smoke, u are reducing the cost of feeding.


Just try and package it nicely and u are good to go.
