Therefore she has lived here for more than 5 years, during the course of those years, she renew the door net which later worn out. Now this year, she decided to park and rent a bigger room elsewhere. During her parking i wasn't at home, when i came back, i saw that she had remove the door net. I told her for removing the door net am going to deduct N5000 from the 8 month rent i need to refund to her. She starts ranting saying she spend N3000 to fix the door net, that i shouldn't deduct her money.
Guys, what do you think i should do? almost having same issue with my land lady. I moved in with the bathroom door having issues, I didn't complain. The wall of the room started scraping due to rain, I remove my money and repaired it because from what i inferred from her attitude she is those "old am smart" kind of people so I didn't even waste my time asking her to repair the room and what did this woman said instead of thanking we was that i should have told her about the repairs as if she would have done something about. Fast forward to 1 year after and after renewing my rent a month after, the bathroom door was falling off and i told her, she said she would send someone to come check it. After some days, the door detached so i brought the door into compound since there was not place i could keep it in my room. She saw the door and did as if nothing happened, I have her a week after that she didn't respond whatsoever, I went to her on what she would do about the door and her response was, she doesn't have money and she didn't budget for that. I asked her for how long was going to wait for the repairs, she said she's not sure......I even told her if she would pay me my money if i repair it but her response wasn't encouraging...... Something i could even fix for free, but that i am smarter than you attitude just made change my mind to stay for a while in the house and just pack out.....landlords should know tenants are humans too. I just got a property, planning to start building something too so that we go prevent this see finish. |

Sixsigmahub: University of Benin (UNIBEN) Female Graduate probed by the school authorities for Examination malpractice ordered to rewrite all exams from 200 Level.
UNIBEN began investigating all the results of female student who wore ” Aggressive Malpractice” shirt during her sign out parade.
Earlier last week, the management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) ordered that all the results of the student be investigated after she wore a sign out shirt with the inscription “aggressive malpractice brought me this far” during her signing out parade.
This came after a video of the said student identifies as Peace Ufuoma, from the department of Microbiology, went viral a few days ago.
The institution made a statement two weeks ago on the Thursday, that the decision to probe the student in question’s results was taken at a meeting that held on the 13th of July.
A news reaching Siggy correspondent as of today says that the female student in question has been ordered to rewrite all her papers from her Level two till the end of Level four. This sounds very heartbreaking but the school management is of the opinion that Peace Ufuoma be used as a scape goat to tell every student of the University of Benin that examination malpractices are not allowed within her walls. https:///uniben-female-graduate-exam-malpractice-rewrite-exams-200level/ the sense she de look for, she don finally get am abi |

Is it winning souls for Christ or getting converts for your church? no mind them..... That's why i like oyinbo preachers. after preaching to you, they tell you to go to living local church and continue your worship there especially if you stay very far, no be force the person come from that far place just because they want church growth. |

People that are tired of their church People that don’t go to church Muslims Traditional worshippers Etc... U can’t always meet people that belong to other denomination...in fact some people belong to other denomination but haven’t really repented...when they hear message of repentance for you..they usually feel they can start coming to ur church... u don’t even have to beg or ask them....
see I’ve been there and I know for a fact that any church actively involved in evangelism/ outreach at least twice a week will grow so you're inferring the pastor doesn't preach well or go out for outreach to win souls? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Sacked Pastors: Winners Chapel Is In Order - Reno Omokri by lookingfly: 4:06pm On Jul 19, 2021 |
chyzoo4u: I don't know how this sound to people's ears but it irritates me badly. Like, "he was sacked for not being effective in evangelism" how does that sound?
Do you think Jesus will do same? Even if that's the reason, what happens to praying for the pastors and giving them more training? Or is this what prayers cannot do?
People left even while Jesus our Lord was preaching on earth with only His disciples remaining, and He asked why they're still with Him, why didn't they leave too.
The Bible says even if no one will praise God He'll raise up stones to praise Him. Must there be population growth in Church before you know that you're winning souls? Can't someone win a soul that is attending another Church?
Besides, it's not everyone that was preached to will repent. God knows about this when He says when you go to preach the gospel and weren't accepted by a house, you should dust your foot and leave.
Mind you, these Pastors started working in the Lord's vineyard just last year, and in one year or so they're thrown out for poot growth index.
Let's be careful with what we defend. no mind them, this kingdom growth we're talking about, is it on Earth or in heaven!........ Socrates said "Know thyself", that's why i go to church but it's not everything a mog preaches i adhere to, some i go back and pass it through fire.......just like i was chatting recently with a friend, I told him that most denominations now are competing for church capacities to see who owns the largest church auditorium in Nigeria or world which entirely different from the mandate Jesus gave us. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Sacked Pastors: Winners Chapel Is In Order - Reno Omokri by lookingfly: 3:51pm On Jul 19, 2021 |
advanceDNA: I don’t think this is about money..
In winners, the main duty of resident pastor is church growth i.e in numbers of people...
the fact is...no pastor can force people to give...Increase in number of people doesn’t necessarily translate to increase in money...
For example...if number of women( mothers are on the increase in a particular month. Automatically that’s double or triple because mothers will come with kids... but that won’t mean increase in offering or tithe...as children don’t give...
A pastor can’t drag rich people to church or force them to give so really he has no control over increase in money....
My opinion shaa how do you expect a pastor to force someone to he'schurch after preaching to that person and person tells you he's attached to another assembly? |

COMPAQ: Deal with the issues separately.
From an economic standpoint, subsidies should be removed. How can we be spending N1trl to subsidise petrol for big men with 3 cars moving around daily. One for Oga, madam and school runs, when FG revenue is just about N6trn.
Dealing with corruption in government is then another issue that should be dealt with. Citizens should shine their eyes. All the corruption is done in conjunction with civil servants and none of them blows the whistle or does anything about it cos they also want their share of it.
if we talk about masses, masses use Kerosene which has been deregulated for almost 3years now. In fact using gas has become cheaper and easier and many are switching. For transport of goods, 99% of vehicles that transport goods across the country use diesel which has also been deregulated for 15+years now and has gone from 150 in June 2020 to 290 now. That is part of why foodstuffs have also been increasing.
So who benefits from the so called subsidy the problem is not deregulation but the thieves who will steal the proceeds from deregulating fuel price. |

uote author=Kobojunkie post=103759228]I am afraid you are still being deceived by man-made doctrines and denominatons there. 1. You were never under the Old Covenant Law and so tithing and offering which were defined in it were never any of your business because God excluded you all Gentiles from that agreement which He only made with the Jews - Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20. So it was not Jesus Christ that fulfilled the Law on your behalf but instead God that never had you bound to that Law to begin with. 2. Jesus Christ is God's Law and agreement which you are bound to when you believe in Jesus Christ, even as a Gentile. He is God's way/agreement in the Kingdom of God and so you are meant to submit to and obey His teachings and commandments, God's Truth, as one who is bound to Him - John 14 vs 23-25. Sure, Jesus Christ is the author and finisher of your faith and what He, your master, has called you to doing is to do as He commands of you. He even declares that those who are His friends are those who do as He commands them to do - John 15 vs 14 - implying that anyone who rejects His commands is an enemy of His. Jesus Christ gave His followers over 57 different laws which we are all expected to live by - every Word out of the mouth of God, Jesus Christ - Matthew 4 vs 4. God is God of Laws and He interacts with us through these Laws and agreements. His very relationship with us is defined in these contracts and handled faithfully so by Him. It was so in the Garden of Eden and remains so even in Jesus Christ...God's Laws are everlasting relationships He makes with us, His creation and He never changes. So to assume that you are no longer under Law is to assume God has changed His mind and that is a lie. Anyone who teaches you that God has changed is a liar and not of God either. It is best to read and understand God for yourself than listen to men lie to you in the name of God. [/quote]are you a true believer or one atheist trying so hard to make your point known because lots of what you type here are contradictory? |

presidency: President Muhammadu Buhari Thursday in Kano pledged that his administration will continue to accord railway infrastructure development the greatest priority, describing rail transportation as a potent economic driver.
Speaking at the ground breaking ceremony of Kaduna– Kano segment of the Lagos– Kano railway modernization project, the President said the take-off of construction activities on this segment of the Lagos– Kano vividly represents the commitment of the Federal Government in the revival of the country’s railway system.
''The ground breaking ceremony for Kano - Kaduna segment of the Lagos – Kano railway modernization project signifies an important milestone of the construction of the third segment, having completed and commenced commercial operation on the first segment Abuja–Kaduna and recently the second segment Lagos-Ibadan.
''This project is crucial to the establishment of a supply chain in railway transport within its corridor, Kano –Kaduna-Abuja, as it links the major commercial cities of Kano and Kaduna to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
''Upon completion, Kaduna-Kano railway project is to link the Lagos–Ibadan Railway project via Abuja, Minna, Ilorin, Oshogbo, Ibadan to Lagos on one end, and Maradi, Niger Republic on the other.
''This railway connection when completed will establish the ports in Lagos, as the choice for import and export business of the people of landlocked Niger Republic.
''This would positively drive our economies through employment from new business opportunities and wealth creation,'' he said.
On financing for the project, the President expressed confidence that the Federal Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of Finance were working to engage co-financiers to conclude financial agreements for the development of the Ibadan–Kano line and to further increase the bankability of the project.
He further explained that the railway line would be linked to the second Port in Lagos, the Tin Can Island Port.
He added that it is also expected that the Inland Dry Port on these routes will be activated with the ports receiving imports directly from the international market as ports of destination such as the Ibadan, Kaduna and Kano Inland Dry Ports.
The President commended the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, the Ministry and other project implementation partners that are contributing to this national effort of railway infrastructure development.
He noted that under this administration several landmarks have been achieved, beginning from the flag-off for commercial operation of Abuja – Kaduna railway in 2016 to the recent commissioning of the Lagos – Ibadan railway project on June 10 2021, thereby maintaining the pace for the actualization of this vital thoroughfare.
In his remarks, Amaechi thanked the President for the strong will in driving the overhaul of Nigeria’s moribund railway transport subsector.
He assured the President that the Transport ministry would remain committed to his vision for a strong and sustainable railway transportation backbone to engender and facilitate a new path to positive economic transformation of the country.
Highlighting some features of the project, the Minister explained the rail line is also provided with accessories and special installations including power and water supply schemes, signalling system and communication in GSM-R, freight yards, rolling stock depots and maintenance workshops.
He announced that the Ministry has finalized plans to commence construction of the remaining addendum of Ibadan-Abuja to complete the entire stretch of the Lagos-Kano Railway modernization project.
At the ground breaking ceremony at Zawaciki, Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area of Kano State, President Buhari was joined by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State, Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State and Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State.
While in Kano, the President also commissioned Dangi Underpass built by the Kano State Government.
