Celebrities › Re: Shade Ladipo Slams Paddy Adenuga Over Chevron Story by LordKO(m): 2:26pm On Feb 01, 2018
Mental parochialism is a very big disease. I wonder why people - small-minded people - are making it to seem like a 29 years old can't play at the big stage in any sphere of life without the influence of an established relation. I don't hold brief for Paddy though, but people should stop castigating him unnecessarily.

Conceit remains God's gift to small-minded people.
Romance › Re: Ladies!! 7 Reasons Why You Must See Every Relationship As A Business. by LordKO(m):
Well, life itself is a business. However, you failed to tell yourself the truth, either intentionally or unintentionally, that presence of beneficialness doesn't mean absence of altruism, just as choice/free will doesn't mean absence of conscientiousness. As a business, romantic relationship is contractual rather than transactional (as you propagated), therefore, it's expected to be beneficial, but not detrimental, to both the parties involved. The very moment it takes transactional form, it automatically becomes commercial enterprise; harlotry. . . Importance of euphemism shouldn't be undermined on matters like this.

The axiom which says "he who comes into equity must come with clean hands" remains potent. The presence of opportunism will always make any romantic relationship a commercial enterprise - to be expected here are; one-sided profit, frenemy, detriment etc. . . all the vices. While presence of altruism will always make it simply contractual - to be expected here are; mutual beneficialness, friendship, happiness etc. . . goodness in general.

Stop propagating harlotry, disingenuousness and contentiousness. Sane people go into relationship to complement each other, not to compete with each other.
Business › Re: Chronicles Of Catalan : Five Lessons I Learnt From Paddy Adenuga's Memoir by LordKO(m):
Kudos. However on your number 5, that advise is only meant for the insightful. . . Those who hear, know but doesn't understand should take that advice at their own peril.

Then, on your number 4, the law of natural force can never be overemphasized. Too many hands always spoil any cooking - the fact that he failed doesn't nullify this axiom. There must always be cause/reason for any failed deal, therefore, the possibility of him clinching the deal assuming that he confided in his said friend Kemi, remains a probability - playing outside the team (in-house and outsourced) always have more negative result than positive result. Yet, plan doesn't mean absence of spontaneity, so insight remains the key here too.

Meanwhile, grit, valuable aptitude(s) and versatility, prudence, humbleness and meekness, honesty, conscientiousness and altruism (giving it to the rightful people) remains the most potent tools anyone needs to play at the top of the corporate business world.

Realism will always remain superior to idealism. . . Idealists should keep off. By the way, one doesn't necessarily need to be of Paddy's background to play at the level he plays.

Nairaland General › Re: What Are Your Fears In Life? by LordKO(m):
My only fear so far is getting married to a frenemy - any small-minded person out there is my frenemy. And if I do unintentionally, the very moment I observed any trait of it will automatically mark an end to the union. A healthy marriage isn't negotiable as far as I'm concerned.

Some of you can be irritatingly appalling. You told me to STFU, yet, here you're claiming that you didn't counter/abuse me. Lol.
Celebrities › Re: Muyiwa Ademola Celebrates His 47th Birthday With Post About His Background by LordKO(m):
Skepticus:
STFU, bro!!! No disrespect

There are millions of folks worldwide who are successful without that formal shit called education...

By the way, Education wasn't created as a key to success.

Success has its own rules
You bumpkin and your ilk can go to hell for all I care. Formal and academic educations aren't the only forms of education.

For one to be "successful" he must have an understanding of something (not just something but something valuable) and the last time I checked, someone who doesn't possess intellect can't gain understanding of something. And, of course, intellect requires education (either formal or informal) to develop.
Celebrities › Re: Muyiwa Ademola Celebrates His 47th Birthday With Post About His Background by LordKO(m):
Mandeyy:
Gbam!!! Thanks for hitting d nail on d head. Education is essential, just like air we breathe, to humanity. I know they will come up with flimsy excuses like 'this person did not go to school but he's making it; Bill Gate and d rest saga', but d truth remains that nobody can do without education, at least d basic education (elementary school). Even d higher education is not even overrated. There's no stage/level of education one passes through, that one doesn't acquire knowledge that can uplift and better humanity no matter how small. Even in Nigeria, education is still relevant. D fault lies on govt who doesn't fund education, research & development (R & D) appreciably.
Don't mind small-minded people - like that bumpkin that picked on me - who doesn't understand that formal and academic educations aren't the only forms of education, and absence of them doesn't automatically make one uneducated.

Celebrities › Re: Muyiwa Ademola Celebrates His 47th Birthday With Post About His Background by LordKO(m):
HBD to him. However, whenever I hear people say "education is overrated" I do take it to mean that the proponent doesn't know what education is. . . Some advanced level academic courses (or academics itself) maybe overrated not education. I've never seen an uneducated person that's successful.
Romance › Re: Let’s Learn To Genuinely Help Women Without Expecting Sex From Them by LordKO(m): 2:26pm On Jan 26, 2018
The truth is that the world is made up of 99.9 percent of selfish people and only 1 percent of altruistic people.

As a man I see no evil/weakness in being altruistically beneficent towards women (ingenuous ones) in particular and strangers in general.

Meanwhile, while selfish people and opportunism are like bread and butter, altruistic people and selflessness on the other hand are equally like bread and butter.

Celebrities › Re: I Go Dye's Letter To President Buhari: Leave Now That The Ovation... by LordKO(m):
Nonsense. Even though I don't hold brief for neither PMB nor his contemporaries, yet, I've no reason to vilify them over their actions and inactions towards the present-generation youth of this country. I can only positively criticize them - yet without crucifying them - over their inability to better the causes of the masses so far.

I have the youth to blame because power is never given rather it's fought for. Enough of "right without responsibility" thought. . . The best way to vilify someone is by besting him is his own game.
Family › Re: The Concept Of Choice!!! by LordKO(m):
Choice is a simple but powerful word. However, choice doesn't mean absence of conscientiousness - just as freedom of speech doesn't mean absence of decorum.

The importance of conscientiousness can never be overemphasized. As far as I'm concerned it's the main attribute that makes human being a higher animal - any unconscientious person out there isn't literally better than the lower animals. So also one who need an external influence (like religion, presence of people, love or any form of sentiment) to do good isn't better than the lower animals. . . Choice isn't an illusion.

In fact, our country for instance is a "shithole," it seems to be because 99 percent of its leaders in particular and the masses at large are unconscientious. . . Expediency reigns supreme over principle. Too bad.

Kudos OP. . . There's always room for improvement.

Sports › Re: Kanu Nwankwo And His Wife, Amara Unfollow Each Other On Instagram by LordKO(m):
The downside of getting married to someone that hasn't achieved self-realization - emancipated intellectually, physically, financially, spiritually and ethically - is that when s/he finally does, the centre hardly holds water again.

Amara has achieved self-realization. I pray and hope that she and Kanu will see reasons to remain in oneness in their union despite the very many disparities I see between them.

Time has come when Kanu will expect submissiveness rather than submission from her, when request will be put forth towards her rather than demand. And, on her part, time has come when she has to become a proponent and practitioner of right with responsibility not the other way round.

Respect is reciprocal.
Romance › Re: What's The Difference: Go And Marry And When Will You Marry? by LordKO(m): 1:55pm On Jan 23, 2018
The difference between them is that while the former is autocratic in nature the latter is democratic in nature. In a nutshell, it's a case of impoliteness vs politeness. . . The speaker has some atom of fear (if not respect) for you, while he sees your younger friend as being inferior to him.

Romance › Re: Joro Olumofin: "How To Know A Wife Material And The Qualities She Must Possess" by LordKO(m):
Who church and prayer help. One who needs church to do good and prayer to prosper only lacks good ethical leanings and valuable aptitude.

Goodness is a testament of God's presence in one's life. Embrace you goodness.

That woman of goodness out there is whom I know as a wife material.
Family › Re: Refusing To Eat My Wife's Food. by LordKO(m):
Citing the connotation of your message, you've a long standing mistrust and grudge towards your wife. And that's the root cause of the petty attitudes you have meted out against her so far. Work on yourself because failure to do so will break your marriage in a no distant time. Don't push her closer to the wall than you have done so far. Respect is reciprocal.
Politics › Re: "What Do You Think Is The Most Important Quality In A Leader And Why?" - APC by LordKO(m):
Conscientiousness - it takes a smart, ingenuous, altruistic/selfless, clever, unassuming and maverick person to be conscientious. A conscientious leader will always live above nepotism, impunity, conceitedness, favouritism, expediency, hypocrisy and very many other vices too numerous to mention.
Politics › Re: 2019: Anybody Above 60 Should Go And Rest Peacefully – Yerima by LordKO(m):
Yerima is speaking the wrong language. The right language is that the country needs leaders not rulers, and age, gender, tribe and other strata are irrelevant.
Romance › Re: Please Advice Me I Don't Know What To Do by LordKO(m):
The difference between a healthy relationship and unhealthy one is that while the former requires goodness to retain, maintain and sustain, the latter requires either being servile or subjugable to retain, maintain and sustain.

@OP

Be wise! You owe her goodness not an servility. I wonder how most of you do find peace around opportunists.
Politics › Re: Governor El-Rufai Squatting To Greet Tinubu (Photo) by LordKO(m):

Family › Re: My Fiancee Finds It Difficult To Serve Me Food.. What Should I Do? by LordKO(m): 9:33pm On Jan 06, 2018
@OP

You're rather seeing her negative attitude in this regard from the surface, the root issue is that she's a self-centered woman. And don't forget that major accompany vices of it are hypocrisy, ungratefulness and insatiableness - you may not be insightful to observe them now, but she'll surely begin to mete them out to you in the near future.

If you're not ready to be subjugable to her for the rest of your life, kindly call her to order to embrace a change of ethical leanings - she can change for good if she volitionally wishes to, because where there's a will there's a way. However, if she refuses to change for good, consider to discard her.
Romance › Re: 11 Proven Qualities Of An Alpha Male by LordKO(m):
It's obvious that someone has mistakenly attributed acts of arrogance and oppression that are hallmarks of an omega/beta who happened to either come across sudden wealth or power after long period of suffering - wannabe be alpha - to alpha's.

Realistically, the true hallmark of an alpha is respect earned that's devoid of oppression and arrogance. An alpha command's the respect and followership - openly or secretly - of all other sane and sound people of both genders and all ages.
Politics › Re: PHOTO: Dino Melaye's Constituent Bowing To Him by LordKO(m): 11:37am On Jan 02, 2018
Never mistake servility of a needy/small-minded person for loyalty/respect, because they're equally the very first to undignified/backstabbed you when the chips are down or at any given opportunity.

Two things all small-minded people lack are gratitude and satiableness. And of course ingratitude and insatiableness always remain their pitfalls.

In all conditions always remain grateful to your employer - I don't hold brief for opportunistic employers though.
Celebrities › Re: "I Don't Care If People Think Juliet Is Older Than Me!" - Iceberg Slim by LordKO(m):

Blackfyre:
The presence of subconscious in every human, i find that very subjective. Not every one has such awareness else we wont have atheists. And that subconscious is what i would term the holy spirit which is not as commonly found in people as you may think.

Anyways, nice to know.
Ignorance of the law excuses no man. So atheists have themselves to blame - yet, they're entitled to their opinions because choice is a right not privilege. Actually, one's ability to attune his subconscious automatically makes him oneness with God.

Compliments of the season.
