I was like, is that all there is to life? Just going to parties for the rest of my life, is this what it’s all about? And I really started to panic that night. I was overwhelmed with a sense of emptiness.”

“I got back to LA and got busy with work for about six months. I was at a coffee shop in Silver Lake with my best friend. And he was gay too. And we noticed, shockingly, that there was a table next to us with Bibles on the table. This was the first time I’d seen a Bible in public in Los Angeles ever. And by that point in my life, I was – I was a practical atheist.”

“Finally I just turned around and I said, ‘Are you guys Christians?’ And they just – they laid it out for me. They told me what they believe. “The pastor comes out and he starts preaching on Romans chapter seven and something strange started happening. Everything he was saying, every word he was saying, every sentence he was saying started to resonate this truth in my mind, in my heart, and I didn’t know why. I was on the edge of my seat, literally on the edge of my seat.”

“It was the first time I had really heard the gospel and understood it… And before he left, he invited people to get prayed with on the side of the church.”

Virtually all fictional creatures do not require “belief”, so I don’t see why some undefinable gibberish called god is any different.

I agree with most of what you say here and I also do not really use the appellation atheist for myself anymore but I still identify with the word only in the sense that I do not believe. For me, like you ask here, to explain what it is I don't believe would be hard because the concept of a god or gods is just so ephemeral, like trying to catch smoke with your bare hands. I have no doubt that it is somewhat intentional that gods be elusive, otherwise we probably wouldn't have given the concept a second thought.

The thing is there is my container of goods am expecting from turkey for all for almost seven months, it is has not arrived in the country I based, until yesterday, my sister instruct me to call one of her family pastor to pray for me.

I was little redundant, but I later called him, he told me the goods will arrived on Tuesday next week..

British or Scottish influence I am guessing. Probably when the colonialists were here they spoke of crayfish, likened them to the little crustaceans found here and the name caught on. Crayfish flows much better than shrimp or prawn in pidgin though. I don put crayfish inside di soup compared to I don put shrimp inside di soup, don't sound the same. LoLz.

I think it has to do with the way pidgin English tends to try to simplify the English language so brand names or "interesting" names get used for all things of that type. For instance, all types of diapers are called 'Pampers', all seasoning cubes are 'Maggi', all satchet water is 'pure water'. Similarly all dried little crustaceans are 'crayfish'. I think it makes conversations on that level simpler by just conveying a general idea without going into details. If you say dat man dey wear Pampers, the idea you are conveying is the man wears diapers without being specific on what brand of diaper. Crayfish just captures the entire type too without going into specifics. No doubt ignorance plays into it since most people don't care to know the difference, in fact to most people they are as good as being the same.

So I've always made this clear. All atheist who left Christianity did so because they don't understand Christianity. Not because they understood it and felt it doesn't make sense.

You cant say something doesn't make sense or it's false if u don't understand it. This is the case of virtually all atheist and none has disappointed me or disprove my theory. Their understanding of Christian theology is extremely poor.

Case in point is kkins25 who I debated if Peter actually said Jesus is God.
Kkins is of the opinion Peter never called Jesus God because Peter called Jesus the son of God. He also argued Peter used the title God for the Father. According to kkins, if Jesus is the son of God then he couldn't be God and Peter couldn't have called father and son (Jesus) God the same time.
From the above, it's obvious kkins had never studied the bible, didn't attend bible study class and knows nothing about christology/Christophany when he was a Christian. He did not have sound Christian doctrine b4 leaving the faith.
It's unfortunate his church failed him, his pastor failed him, his Christian community failed him. And for this, I apologise on their behalf for a soul is lost in the process.

You cant understand Christianity and then decide to leave. It's impossible. Jesus Christ is the TRUTH and once u KNOW HIM, U get stuck to the truth. It's an eternal union.

The day I meet an atheist or an ex Christian that fully understands Christianity and it's doctrine is the day I will renounce my faith.

A snake has a lot of stages when it comes to growth. A snake can live up to a thousand years if giving the permission and it also depends on the specie of the snake involve, the spiritual growth of the snake .

I used to tell people, snake is not a bad thing at all. Many of you have been to churches and they told you that you have a snake spirit, and so what exactly? Why are you feeling sad because someone call you a snake?

Find below, the SUVs procured by Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for all the medical doctors working in the General Hospitals across the State, to ensure they are at work seamlessly and respond to duty calls.

This in no small measure will give them good confidence and assurance of their welfare, having been employed by the State Government. It is meant as well, to ensure that they do not convert the hospital ambulances to their private cars. All the SUVs have been paid for and all of them delivered.

Talking of ambulances, pictures 5 and 6 show some of the ambulances procured by Ebonyi State Government for the General Hospitals. 52 were paid for, but 20 have arrived. The rest will be delivered soon. The Governor intends to have 2 ambulances for each General Hospital in Ebonyi State.

Ebonyi State is on the rise, and our Chief Servant is leaving no stone unturned in that regard.

The Governor will deploy them soon, according to his esteemed discretion.
