See as human being just fresh finish like today bread. He looks well fed, relassed and taken kiarof! Better to run and avoid being court-martialed, than to "be a man" and face a humiliating sentence from the very same Generals sabotaging the fight against insurgency by pilfering the funds in utter disregard for the welfare and morale of their men. |
They've both done well for themselves over the years. It's also not easy maintaining such subscriber base on YouTube and pushing out new content regularly. It's no mean feat and deserves commendation. |
Denique:In a poor country, food, and the lack or abundance of it, is a constant topic on people's lips. That's why being plumpy is a big deal here. That said, the weight loss doesn't look like the normal kind. It's not like he was fat before. |
There seems to be something special about November 16th. Zik's 116th posthumous birthday is today, and Chinua turns 90 posthumously too today. Congratulations are in order for the literary heavyweight that wasn't afraid of speaking the truth even in the face of tyranny. Your sacrifices for a functional and an egalitarian society in your fatherland, a cause you believed in and worked towards for the most part of your life will hopefully bear fruit someday.

Happy 116th posthumous birthday to the great man Nnamdi Azikiwe. I know some people might be pissed with you for being a supporter of a unified North and South, but you did what you did with good intentions. How you lived and your wise words continue to remain a shinning light for some till this day.

Lol. All the "I need a tall, dark and cute guy" crew, over to you O! Too much of everything is sometimes not the best. |
The reward for loyalty shouldn't always be playing second fiddle to the North. For the first time, the South East is growing some balls and asking for what's due them for their many years of unalloyed support to a party that has always taken their support for granted and treated them as lesser members. Kudos to Umahi for being bold enough to make the first move that may finally bring PDP back to their senses. I also like the condition given to the PDP this time around: it's the top job or nothing! |
It is useless to the human soul what kind of housing it departs the world in. Being buried in a Rolls Royce or a mat is irrelevant since you cease to exist the moment you die. |
Kaycee54321:You sef gbagaun. Na "i come decide to free you," not "i come decided to free you." Nobody dey above mistakes. |
Many African leaders don't even know why Covid-19 penetration is low in their various countries to begin with, because it's not like they took innovative measures to combat it head-on. Since the lockdown was lifted, markets are crowded across Africa with people mostly without face masks. People can barely eat three square meals let alone buy enough sanitizers for their hands and surfaces in their homes, etc. Yet, no epic-level infection rates where people are dropping like flies. This one just be like "man-know-man" businessman wey dey disguise as successful businessman. When you ask am for him success secret, him go say, "my brother, it's God o." |
Useful information up there. Also avoid excessive indulgence in pleasures of the flesh. It will save you time and money, and also help you stay focused in the noble fight against poverty. |
Granted, it does pose some threat to the country's political stability and heats the polity; nevertheless, he reserves the constitutional right to legally contest the outcome of the election since he feels it was unfair. That he chose not to concede defeat and instead legally challenge the result shouldn't call for war. It's now up to the supreme court to decide if there is any merit to those claims. |
Bros, you even dey carry finger pet am? Because e dey malnourished and dey suffer from low self esteem no mean say na pussy cat you dey follow play so o. |
Kudos to these young Nigerians successfully growing plants on a rocky soil composed of nepotism, religious fundamentalism, crony capitalism, and visionless, unsustainable leadership. Some Nigerian youths keep braving the odds, despite the BUAs and Dangotes getting all the juicy concessions, tax cuts, and preferential treatments. There is no special policy made to encourage startups in general, or access to low-interest loans and research grants for meaningful tech startups, but there are several policies for cement producers and crony capitalists disguising as self-made successful multibillionaires. To say that this country is preparing for her future is to lie to yourself and insult logic. |
There's just something about youth that loves the wild! It doesn't like being caged or slowed down. |
Impressive! Several decades from now, some smartphones in this his collection might sell for small fortunes. |
"His career is over; I will be alive and kicking for the next 40 years. I do not owe him a thing," she told SF Weekly, vowing, "If there is corruption, it will be prosecuted." Kamala just being a typical "what have you done for me that no one has ever done for others?" woman. |
You are clearly biased, and even a blind man can see it from 5,000 kilometers away. The fundamental difference between both parties is that the Republican Party prides itself on upholding the ethos of the founding fathers of the constitution and traditional American values, while the Democratic Party takes on a more liberal approach where they try to change and adapt to the times. That is why they call Democrats "Liberals," meaning that they're flexible, open to ditch even core values if they feel it has outlived its purpose and no longer fits with the times. The Republicans, on the other hand, believe one shouldn't ditch core values that make up one's foundation just because it's not "fashionable" anymore. Both sets of ideologies are important to a country. Be too conservative, and you won't know when to change a redundant system or way of life; be too liberal, and there will be no discipline or culture anymore because "anything goes." |
OfficialAwol:Una dey funny sometimes. There are parts of American foreign policy that doesn't change regardless of who is the president. The US relationship with Israel and South Korea can't be undermined by any president except you want to leave your office prematurely. The US will always align with Israel and South Korea when the choice is between them and other countries. It is not a Donald Trump thing, it is an American thing. |
IkennaOkongwu:Oga calm down small. She clearly doesn't understand what you mean by net and gross. You should have explained to her better instead of insinuating that she is beating about the bush intentionally. @Shortyy, the gross income is what the workers earn before tax and other deductions are made, while the net salary is the final take-home pay that hits their bank accounts after all possible deductions have been made. |
Congratulations are in order for these three young Nigerians blazing the trail politically for other Nigerians in the U.S. and changing the false narrative that Nigerians are a people with a proclivity to defraud anyone they come in contact with and cheat their way through life. Let's also hope that they deliver successfully and make good of the trust vested in them by the electorate. |
LadyTianna:One gender needs more emotional care and attention, the other gender needs more physical care and attention. You also have a point about the economy being a major factor why love relationships in this part of the world are highly monetized |
ReluctantAdult:Ladies also call the men they're dating or married to "my man" and no one bats an eyelid. This una "woke" lifestyle and trying to be more feminist than the females themselves dey tire person sometimes. |
Sorry for your predicament |
The modus operandi of rape aggressors is simple: prey on the weak. These females in your account (and that of lots of male rape personal stories) can only do it when you're still a child, since you're physically weaker and highly impressionable then. They're no different from the guys that rape adult females, because if they had the physical strength to overpower any of their adult male love interests who either turned them down or refused to act on their "green lights," trust me, they would sexually molest them too. We should pay more attention to sexual predators lurking around our neighborhoods and living spaces. |
Upon all the talk about feminism and female empowerment girls love to blab about, trust me when I say if that your friend was married but still a student and unemployed, she wouldn't feel that empty. The real reason why she's feeling that empty is because she's done neither, and she doesn't even have a serious relationship yet. |
Anyone saying "but the scheme is still running for years now," doesn't know how big-time Ponzi schemes work. Bernie Maddof, the record holder for the largest Ponzi scheme in history, ran his scheme for over a decade before the bubble burst. It insults every mathematical intelligence to think these organizations truly trade Forex and make such profit margins continually without drops in profit or financial loss enough to make you unable to pay that month. When MMM was on, everyone that was warned didn't listen. To be bitten twice would be foolish on your part. Stay Away! |
You have a good point. The trauma from seeing over five people die in your presence and you carrying those people in your arms is enough to send shockwaves through your body and give you post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Yet, there was no sense of shock or trauma in her voice or demeanor. Okay, let's even assume she has witnessed enough violence in her short lifetime, and she's now so used to it to the point where she doesn't fret anymore even after witnessing an alleged bloodbath. Why didn't she at least make mention of it while in the hospital as a passing comment, knowing how sacred life is? Or she could even say something like, "these are the casualties being treated at the moment, but several people died in my presence." I can't really tell if it was true or false, but there are many holes in the whole thing. The problem is that people are just too emotional whenever the topic is raised to properly analyze the events of that night, even when some helpful bits of information that questions the widely accepted version is supplied. I equally felt enraged and believed all the information dished out initially, but now i'm beginning to question lots of the widely-accepted "truths" of that night. |

ENOUGH WITH THE FAKE NEWS! ENOUGH WITH THE MASS MISINFORMATION! ENOUGH WITH THE MASS MISREPRESANTATION OF FACTS! ENOUGH WITH THE FALSE REPORTING! FAKE NEWS! FAKE NEWS! It’s beginning to seem very foolish! No matter how many times people point it out that the news is wrong and an obvious misinformation, everyone still keeps on acting like rabid dogs on all threads today, especially in all Tinubu-related threads. Even when the so-called news is being busted with facts, everyone keeps acting like they have an excessive amount of testosterone and suddenly can’t act like higher animals anymore. Keep your emotions in check because you can't think like a Homo sapiens once they start governing you. |
