2.Christians call themselves sheep. Sarcasm and mockery are not crimes.

3. A hashtag is not a movement.

4. How does one maliciously bring up a video? If the pastor is ashamed of his utterances in the video, then he shouldnt have made that video in the first place and secondly, he should accept that he is wrong.

I agree with all the points you made except number 3. In today's world a hashtag can very well become a movement.

Betafuture you’re story is soooo touching...you said, and I quote

“ I found it difficult to rationalise it. I continued to find fault in my being and my personality. I know I am very attractive handsome young man. Despite showing I am married, ladies still flock around me. I am also a passionate lovemaker. I dress well and look neat. I don't seem to understand where I have failed.”

You can’t rationalise it because it’s not logic it’s EMOTION.

I will first of all tell you that being handsome, neat and having great lovemaking skills never ensured a woman’s devotion. The mistake you made is that you didnt notice she had become distant EMOTIONALLY. Women are all about emotions. In order to forgive her fully drop your ego for a few minutes a day and connect to your wife emotionally abeg. She will love you even more knowing that you forgave her for infidelity. Don’t make it too easy though, ask her difficult questions that will challenge her logic, like if she wants to walk away from the marriage? If she feels the marriage is even worth it? Etc

You made the mistake of cheating on her and she “forgave” you. Now it’s time for you both to REALLY forgive each other.

This is deep. It’s inspirational that someone like him would still be trying to educate himself more and more. It’s funny how after school we don’t consider reading books as educating ourselves.

On humility, I wish I could adopt writing thank you notes. Seriously, technology makes it even feel weird to be sending Christmas cards...Forgetting that you will treasure them in years to come...They help your u “remember the time when...” But shebi Facebook has “Memories”

Educate yourself.
You don’t need to travel to become cultured. Instead, use the resources around you to educate yourself. In 2015, Zuckerberg challenged himself to read a new book every other week in order to learn about different cultures, beliefs, histories and technologies. “Books allow you to fully explore a topic and immerse yourself in a deeper way than most media today,” he wrote in a Facebook post.

Practice humility.
In a world where we email or chat a quick “thanks!” to someone, Zuckerberg challenged himself to handwrite or email a thought-out thank-you note to someone every day of the year in 2014. “It’s important to me because I’m a very critical person,” Zuckerberg told Bloomberg. Making a simple expression of gratitude like this a daily habit will help you develop humility and authenticity.

Sarassin:
We have available all the above different methods of obtaining access to Past Life records but we can also see that the problem is not so much to obtain the records as much as it is about preventing false images and fantasies in the subconscious minds of both the subject and the psychic from intruding upon the internal screen. Suppressed or even thwarted desires are a potent and prolific source of such intrusions into our subconscious.

During our impressionable adolescence we may have identified ourselves with a hero or heroine of some story that we read about, and later, when we begin to investigate our karmic records, it is conceivable that one reproduces fragments of such story-lines as a fantasy of a past life. Hence we see an endless procession of reincarnations of famous and popular historical figures.

The psychic has to follow a very tenuous thread of events, and it is extremely easy to go off on a wrong scent after following the right one for some time.

The seeker of knowledge obtains proper and valid knowledge of Past Lives only when it is sought under the auspices of an esoteric school, it is under those circumstances that we begin to touch the spirits that have the higher consciousness I referred to earlier In the heavenly and the earthly planes, and then they will tell us of past ages. They will also read the Records for us if permission can be obtained, but for such a reading, permission always has to be obtained from the Master who has the pupil under tutelage, for this knowledge is never lightly given and if given indiscriminately may do more harm than good.

Hi Sarassin, when you say esotorical school,
are you referring to a school in this realm or...?

I don't even like the Kardashians, but don't insult them.

Who said anything about liking the Kardashians

Nana Otedola (their mum) owns Garment Care amongst other businesses. Yes, Femi Otedola is wealthy but they are not running around like Paris Hilton doing nothing but spend his money. Their mum has pushed them to pursue their interests and attempt to make an empire for themselves in the process. That’s good parenting.

Cuppy has a degree in business and economics from Kings college and graduated from NY university with a masters degree in music.

No scandals, or any other nastiness but hard work, focus and a perhaps a few strings pulled by Daddy.

I know of several young ladies whose parents are not even as rich as the Otedolas but spend their time and money sniffing crack, doing plastic surgery, hopping from one club to another and one man to another.

So please don’t hate, appreciate.

Basic Techniques for Meditation

I have often thought that it might be a good idea to put in one place my thoughts on the practice of meditation particularly for beginners who may be contemplating how to learn a meditation technique. Personally I would happily give up everything in favour of simple meditation if I had to. Meditation is the key to all forms of spiritual or even religious practice it will assist you in every system of spirituality that you will ever engage in if you meditated properly before reading the bible, you will come to understand it with a burning fervour, likewise the Quran or even the Vedanta. Meditation will enhance just about any human endeavor of yours whatsoever.

In order to learn to meditate effectively there is a key component that is essential, it is the act of controlling one’s breathe. In many cultures the word for spirit or energy is also the word for breath, master your breathing proces and you master your life.
The breath usually follows whatever state your mind happens to be in, but in the meditative process we reverse the process and make the mind follow the breath instead. Basically, stop and take a deep breathe.

We will begin the meditative practice by learning a basic breathing pattern. Get seated ensure that your back is reasonably straight and vertical. Simply breathe in through the nostrils keeping the mouth closed take a deep sharp breath for four seconds, hold the breathe for two seconds and expel the breathe for four seconds. This is the 4-2-4 breathe sequence, when used the blood and brain get a better flow of oxygen. One of the primary benefits of this is that the pituitary gland begins to function optimally. This gland controls the physical manifestation of the seat of mystical vision. Aim to maintain the breathing pattern for the duration of the meditative process or as long as you can.

Hello Hayoholla, well pseudo-science is what it is, open to vagaries. I have not asked the OP to dissect his research I merely asked him to clarify the title of his thread, his absolute statement that Allah is NOT YHWH. If I am not wrong, his statement implies that he has made an empirical study and arrived at that conclusion, he was most emphatic, OP did not say “he thinks Allah is not YHWH” or he “believes that Allah is not YHWH” he made a clear unequivocal statement. It was not beyond the realms of imagination that somebody asks him to justify his stance.

As you can see from the ensuing dissembling, rambling and prevarication he could provide no tangible response and subsequently went into melt-down. I do not think language was a problem here.

You asked me to look into a book by David Icke, regrettably I will not be taking you up on your invitation. I was here in England in the early 90’s when David Icke made his debut on Breakfast TV in his ill-fitting shell suit claiming that the Queen of England, the Prime Minsister and the politicians were all reptilians from another planet masquerading as humans. He was a clown then and he is still a clown now albeit one with a follower-ship, I never took him seriously then, and I am not about to start now.

Good Evening Friends, Family smiley Sarassin LoJ Lotusfan Rancho

So, LoJ's posts made me wonder why I have yet to do the do. grin

I have a few concerns...which I feel I have clearance to talk about now.

First, I was scared...because I feel no connection to any of them. I feel more connection to my guardian angel (I haven't had a distinct encounter but i feel the connection when I'm centered) and the father and some light/love entities that I do not know, but I'm sure are rooting for me and doing all they can to make my path easy.

So sometimes, I feel like, why pettition, ArchAngel Haniel for example, when my guardian angel is here and looking for work to do for me?

So the whole thing does not add up and I'm like, "well, for now, let me just let be.

Plus I didn't quite get a clearance in my Spirit to try.

Maybe because of this fear of the unknown and then this knot I feel in my heart when I shouldn't really go a particular way.

Of course, the reluctance I feel has nothing to do with whether or not it's a pure act to do, but more of "It's not time to do it yet"....

Then again, I also get this feeling that whatever I'm experiencing or going through now is as it ought to be, and that seeking extraordinary divine help to close the chapter isn't really the best. Like there are lessons I need to learn and all.

Like there was a time I needed a sum of money, kinda big small sha, and I felt, "waow, angelic petition to the rescue"

And I could feel that I was being asked this question " Has there been anything you have ever needed that you did not have? Have you ever been stranded? Have we not always come through?"

Y'know, sometimes, I get this feeling that this life I'm living now is all been planned out. Like it's not about me anymore. Maybe because of a prayer I prayed about absolute dependence on him?

Phew!
So, I had wanted this to be a question post, but I see I've turned it into a musing.

Of course your comments are welcome nonetheless.
I'm hoping it would make me feel most assured.

I totally understand how you feel.

Why stand on someone else's crutches when you have two healthy legs?

The spiritual walk can be quite a lonely one. If you feel it is unnecessary or not the right time, then there is no benefit in doing something that you are clearly not 100% comfortable with.

When an angel agrees to your petition, it can turn the whole world upside down, to make it happen. It can be very dramatic and unexpected.

After Haniel gave me his Okay first in a vision, then with the omen, I was expecting a solution within 2 years. In the vision however, the Angel was letting me know that he will work very quickly, for reasons of his own. Well, "Gods time is the best".

Little did I know that the angel meant it litteraly. In 24 hours, my whole world was upside down. Everything and everyone concerned was suddenly shaken, and a dramatic change was forcefully implemented.

How kind of you to share your experience smiley The best things in life are certainly free.

After seeing two spiders weaving a web in my bathroom, a spider take up residence a few days later and then being invited to a dinner where a variety of shellfish was on offer I confirmed my petition would be granted.

I remember asking Sarassin if he could share his experiences but now I have found it hard to share mine...Matthew 7:6 comes to mind... “Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls before swine.”

No disrespect is meant to the lovely members of this great forum. (But you know say, we fit fall persin hand)

I just hope others who are in need of such intervention be encouraged and not afraid to petition members of the great Angelic host.

It’s good for kids to have a relationship and forge a bond with their grandparents while they are alive and sleep overs are a great way to achieve this. Mummy and Daddy can make gooooood use of this time also. wink

I see nothing wrong with it as long as the grandmother does not smoke or behave in a way that would make you feel your child is not safe.

We're thousands of miles apart, yet that aura that cleanses and makes one glow is ever present.

It was a pleasure reading you.

Okay, for starters, my intention is not to sound judgemental of your best buddy, if it ever comes off to you as that, I am sorry.
I imagine the guilt you lived with at the time, and I do not wish to put you through a fraction of a speck of it again.

But a thought came to mind and I wish to seek your opinion.
Being a Child of God, we were taught that the place reserved in hell for those who take their life is, well, 'reserved.'
I have not read about such penalty in the bible though, but hey, we get taught lots of unbiblical stuff, no?
cheesy

Like when I first read that he came to you, emanating light...........
What I first thought of in my subconscious is "errrr, shouldn't he be dwelling in that reserved place with darkness tugging at him and all How did he escape so quickly"

Well, that was my subconscious. Consciously, I reckoned that there could be more to what I think I know about suicide.

So, I'd like to know your view(s) on the matter.
Are people permitted to take their lives because they do not consider it worth living anymore?
Is there a repercussion?
If yes, what if one knew about it and takes their life still?
If they did not know of such (assuming there are repercussions), what happens?

Hnmmmmn so many pertinent questions. The question is what is heaven and what is hell? Could they be opposite states of mind?

I will share an experience with You. When my dad died I was 16 i had left the hospital with my brother and less than 48 hours later I was informed that he had passed On. Fast forward to about 3 days later, I had a "dream".

In this "dream" I saw my Dad, I was shocked and accidentally blurted out " but I thought you were dead". He looked at me and asked in his characteristic fashion " who told you I'm dead?" Before I could reply he said " did you SEE me die? I'm here".

He looked and acted exactly the same I didn't tell anyone except my mum. But after that day I was convinced that there was a place souls went that was not the hell described in church.

I am of the opinion that some of us hang around here for a while due to our attachments after which we go on a long, long journey.

Have you ever read Wondered in the spirit lands by Franchezzo? Some of the events recounted might be at variance with what you might beleive... But, you never know.

Religion / Re: The Original Art Of Prayer by LotusFan: 10:14pm On Oct 18, 2017
manikal:
[2]
Prayer is an invocation or act that seeks to activate a rapport with an object of worship through deliberate communication.
This is according to Wikipedia , according to the human perspective. But I am not here to talk about the human perspective. I am here to just give another perspective of the applications of Prayer as taught by the Great teacher himself.

To satisfactorily accomplish this goal , only the words directly spoken by Christ would be used. So , without much further ado ,

INSTRUCTION No. 1
Matt 6;5
5 “And when you pray, DO NOT BE LIKE THE HYPOCRITES, for they LOVE TO PRAY STANDING IN THE SYNAGOGUE and on the street corners to be SEEN BY OTHERS. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.

Simple and straight to the point. Replace synagogue with church. Also pay repetitive attention to the capitalized words.

INSTRUCTION No. 2
6 But when you pray, GO INTO YOUR ROOM, CLOSE THE DOOR and pray to your FATHER, WHO IS UNSEEN. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

GO INTO YOUR ROOM
Which room does this great intellect speak of? Remember that Jesus said , pray without ceasing , so which room is readily available for use 24/7?
Which room if not that of the heart. The heart is the 6th sense or that Inner feeling of existence or that inner space you experience when you close your eyes and stop thinking of both the past and the future. It is that space that experiences the formations of thoughts. It is the 'I' part of the human.

CLOSE THE DOOR
Closing the door signifies that you don't want to be disturbed. What can disturb this inner room if not distractions from the 5 door senses of the body.

The 5 Doors and their functions are;
EYES - Sight and visual perception
NOSE - Smell
SUBTLE BODY [Includes the mind] - Touch or sensory feelings and thoughts
EARS - Sound and auditory perception
Effective ways of closing these doors would be dealt with later in the article.

FATHER, WHO IS UNSEEN
This points to a rather interesting fact. The Father cannot be seen through the faculties of the senses. The 5 senses have to be STILLED FOR THE 6th to arise. If the Father cannot be seen with the 5 senses , then it follows that the entire 5 senses cannot possibly form a MENTAL PICTURE OF GOD.
Ruminate

Continued

Nice one Manikal

Why are you focusing on c++, just a question?

My advise to you would be to know a little about all of them but focus on what you love. Money will find you where you are hiding developing your games if you are good. Keep improving, never think you are good enough.

In addition, try to have as much of your work in the public domain as possible (obviously I’m referring to the best of the best of your work).
