Are u looking at getting a tokunbo or naija used? With ur budget its best to sought for a tokunbo...possibly toyota corolla 04/05 since ur more about fuel economy, mostly comes with 1.8L engine, u can go for honda civic 05/06 too or any other durable compact car with small engine capacity

you can't get a tokunbo 05 corolla at 1m unless the seller is running a charity

I have experienced this problem twice. The first one was solved by replacing a plug coil (ignition coil) that has gone bad. The second one was solved by cleaning the injectors. A proper diagnosis will help your mechanic isolate the problem
