Which section of the law permits a policeman to seize your car key? What business do they have with your key? If they are impounding your vehicle, that is a different thing. And in that case, what offences warrant a policeman to impound your vehicle; what are the procedures; are the police authorized to impound your vehicle and if that is the case, wouldn't they take the car to their station instead of collecting your key and keeping you waiting on the high way?

I once faced a similar situation. I wasn't so sure whether to release my key or not but later decided to submit key. I later asked a police friend and he said they had no right to ask for my key.

People come to nairaland to wash their dirty linens. Now you wouldn't be so happy you wrote all those things about your man. If those things you wrote up there are the only issues you have with your man, believe me, you have a very good man and a very happy marriage to look forward to. I talk from experience. One advice though, don't become a control freak. You sound like a perfectionist. I know that feeling when everybody seems to be performing below expectation. I have been there too. I entered into business with a dude, buying and selling of petroleum products. I provided the funds, over 2m naira, while he ran the business. We shared the proceeds. Dude has been into the business and sweet-talked me into entering it. He remitted my own share of the proceeds for several months until I informed him that I wanted to terminate the contract and recall my capital. Dude went into incognito. He practically disappeared. His phone number has never been available again since then.

How much do you earn at your current place of work? In case you don't know, the entry level in zenith bank now is the so called contract position which they have renamed graduate assistant (GA). Nobody escapes it unless you already have your ICAN or coming in with work experience.
