As you said in your earlier posts, Naija has become a super fief for BB. We English speaking Cameroonians have a huge appetite for what they dish out but it seems that it will take much more than a few DSTV bouquet kits for them give us a thought and make as much marketing proposals this way like they do to you. Foe starters, they don't have outlets here but for a small scattering of supposed reps who are targetting hotels and those highly placed gov't circles plus a sprinkle of business men. It is Canal+ that tested the waters out here. But, cable operators (what you call viewing centers there in naija - guys who reditribute satellite images through cables in the cities here) in conivance with members of the ART (Agence de Regulation de Telecommunication du Cameroun) and the Taxation Departement have virtually run them out of town. They've sold up to Cameroonian reps.
The long and short of it is that for the time being, DSTV will continue to dictate the pace of paid tv issues in this part of the world. The understand the market very well and I am yet to see that group capable of giving BB a good show down. One group wanted to try, but realised that they were still toddlers and their dream die jsut too fast. Talking about GTV (Gateway TV). But, as the saying goes: there is a time for every thing or better still, what goes up must come down. Looking forward the downward ride of Big Bro! Cheers an and have a swell day.

If una like una multiply the fasting days to power infinity, nothing will change in as much as it is still the mighty BB's day. Every dog has its day and it is BB's day. Till that changes, nada for sub sahara africa fta viewers concerning the best fta freebies. Get big dishes or be condemned to kill your retinas with religious/french channels. Grey hair will stretch outta ones ears before that change'll come. Just Fogerrrrritttt!

Said it b4 on the main forum. except for channel50 whom drtv and tvm are jacking the rest of the sub saharan fta channels are showing the euro2012 as if they were stealing the images or using a malfunctioning dongle. just 2 fucking bad!

STV1 (Boom TV) now on EW3A 12728V30000. Also Benie TV on Astra4A 12605H29950. Has any one noticed that these African fta tv stations are up to something with these Euro2012 matches? Today dem go show match tomorrow, nothing and so forth and so on. Which one dem dey? Wetin dey happen? Just check am out, my guys! Xcept for channel 50.

srt4663 are mpeg2 stbs and as such limit you to SES4, EW4/7, IS7/10, EW3A/Astra4A, IS NewDawn, IS17 and all the other satellites carrying channels broadcasting in SD and MPEG2. If you want to enjoy the freebies from Astra 2B, EW3C, etc, get yourself an MPEG4 decoder, better still an HD decoder.

on strong decoders for example,
menu - system settings - a/v outputsetting - rf channel.
It ranges from channel 21- 63.
You can put srt1 on channel 24, srt2 on channel30, srt3 on channel36 etc.
Note: you have to be aware of rf channels of your local television stations also to avoid interference.

What is your location and with what lnb did you hook your AB7 with all those tps? Regards.

pofolo: that tv/input port is as important as d rf out port. It is mostly useful when you have multiple decoders been linked together n channeled out via just one decoder for multiple viewing from source. Those who do hotel installations or if you have more than one box in ur house knows wat am talking about.
Lets say u have 5 decoders & u want to be able to view wat d 5 boxes r showing in ur room simultaneously. Say we name it srt 1-5. Rf out of srt 1 will go to tv/input port srt 2,rf out srt2 will go to tv/input port of srt3.continue till srt4 rf out goes into tv/input srt5,hence rf out of srt5 will transmit all other channels frm srt 1-4 & 5 inclusive out as ur source,provided u space d rf output uhf to avoid conflict/interferences......

Tried all I can to hit Intelsat 17 with the following tracking tps: 11498H2400, 11505H13271, 11515H1735 and 11556H20129 to no avail. Any one hitting green and what tp or what is the lnb skew 'cos that may be where I am airing.
I am using a 90cm dish with an srt 4669xii. Couldn't have any success with the coordinates for Intelsat25 ku.

calis2: New channels without frequency, simbol rate and footprint?

If d channels sweet u to watch, use the normal 11567H20000 then blind scan to get the rest noh!

That day has not yet and will never come. Only big dishes to secure the nilesat and european beams can help us and even don't be surprised that one day english will be bleeped out of the sound content from the arabian channels. did somebody say noway? @Fadola2: Which two others? In my end AB3, Animaux and KTO are the premium ones which are still showing using 12605H29950. What is the name of your fourth channel, bikonu?

This question wasn't targetting me. However, I've never trackd Yahsat 1A but as for Amos5 it is at the 9 or 3 O'clock position that I grabbed both Amos and W3C.

I find it funny that I-Hacked succeeded in triggering such reactions in the house. I ask myself this question: Is it just because the site may be brought down by the powers that be that has caused subterranean actors to stir from their graves wither they will sublime back into once the dust gets settled? Adex70: @sammu,ilish,pidzo,gadotor and all who have 4930hd strong i have notice that the signal quality level bar of this box does'nt blink to front to determing if u are closer to hit green on any sat, it is not good to track any ofprint bird. Ur opinion is wellcome pls.

That was how 4669xes were reacting the very first time I tested one until updated. I guess an update of your box may circumvent the problem. Jest a thought!!!

I am using a 90cm dish and am able to track both Yahsat 1A- 52.5E & NSS12- 57E on the same dish.
Like one author put it, you can get Fox middle East and Fox series on Yahsat 1A. By the way I reside in
Kampala, Uganda.

Thank you very much my v. good friend. Given that you could pin down Yahsat1A in Uganda with 90cm, I guess us fta hobbyists in west and central africa have to make do with atleast 2.4m. That not withstanding I'll give it a crack 'cos I've seen someone who hit the fox movies and series tp on badr 4/6 i.e 18843V27500 with a 90cm dish and atleast this has given me hope tha I too can. I hope I succeed on Monday.

Thankx aplenny doo! Hey, what's the least dish size for hitting it? Pardon my ignorance. My East is blocked for usage with my 1.8m but clear for 90cm. Will take a test ride to figa it out although I know it'll be a very arduous and long journey. Thankx once more, man.

Apart from Badr4/6 and Nilesat 101/201, where can one catch Fox Movies and Series? I knew of a satellite that does that but can't place it for now. Any one able to help out?

Adex70: @all Amos5c ku is coming alive nine chanels as join the bird, track with 11919 v 27500 or 11881 v 27500 it is alittle below w3c if u are good u can get both w3c&amos5c on one dish, the chanels there now are satlink,RR promo,ctn,Rtg tv,Bible explotation,Fashion world,Fashion one,miracle tv,3abn international. Let keep our finger accross.

Thankx Adex, I caught a set of channels which you listed when I was blind scanning W3c or E16A (as you may choose to call it) and never knew they belonged to a different satellite given that I caught Amos 5C without knowing. Thankx once more dude.

There is CRTV (not Crown Royal Television based in Ghana but Cameroon Radio and Television Corporation) broadcasting from Mballa II, Yaounde Cameroon. You can get this CRTV from erstwhile W3a (with 90cm dish using 12728V30000), or on AB3 with 1.80m dish with 3712R2785, or you may like to play around with W3C now called Eutelsat 16a if i haven't got things chalked up with a 90cm dish and coordinates 10800v30000. If soccer is your life and you may die if you don't get to witness the European Champions Cup come this June, then let you fears be allayed 'cos CRTV Cameroon will be on rendez-vous!
