where are the recent posts for: Fta Channels On W4/7? @Pidzo: Thankx very much oga me. We r all learning from each other and I can tell you that I am just a pupil here under most of the maters' tutellage. I guess we all with determination are going to keep forging ahead in our bid to expand the fta frontiers especially with regards to out of print birds. |
twinstaiye:Oga MOD, Thank u for coming in with your faya xtingwisha. Just do your work o so that peace go dey rain for this our house. Pidzo:@Pidzo: Pidzo my man, abeg no vex o. Make we just take am E Z. Sorry for butting into your affairs. |
@Charley Gadator: U got mail. But, if u don't see it, understand that my profile is as truthful as the sun that shines in the day. Use it as is. |
Pidzo:@Pidzo: And you want to induce your confusion amongst the rest of the members of the forum? What r u confused about? |
Yinka4dad:@Yinka4dad: Ol' boy, abeg reduce your coding, else person go require a good decoder to decipher your posts. |
Brite02:Enheeee, now d picture is clear! |
Brite02:@Brite02: U were trying to hit W3a with your 1.8m and Astra 2B with your 60cm and now you say you've hit the two birds with a quality 91 percent. Are you sure u didn't capture W3a and Astra 4.8 or Sirius 4.8? |
@I-Hacked: Please, my broda ah feel u no b smoll. Atleast we can see other side of the story. I guess your broda will now understand you betta. Go ahead with your research and don't because of him keep your findings under the table. We are all here to learn from each other. thankx. |
I have a big problem. My supermax extended C-band lnb just refused to function. The 1.8m dish is pointed at AB3 and the signals from my Strong srt 4669xii are red. I thought it had been hit by lightening, but this wasn't the case because it shows signal (level dancing between 72 and 75) when connected and signal falls off (level falls to the 50s) when the rf connector is removed from the lnb. Please any idea on how to remedy the situation? |
hello!!!!!!!!!! Please, mod where are todays posts? |
Have anyone else noticed dat when you try to access the fta w4/7 thread you are taken to page 20 with the last post being that of the 19th of this month? |
what's my name, what's my name, waht's my name. Oh nana! |
odilibe:@odilibe: You see am? ah no b tok? Then of what good is that to us with small dishes? Nnaaa meeeeen!!!! |
saintchyco:@saintchyco: How u dey bros? longest tyme. Go to youtube and search for difference between clone and original dreambox and u go get full answer in technicolor. For one, original dm looks old and worn out while the clone has a glossy black casing from what i saw. thank you, according by gadotor. |
sathob:@sathob: I hia u my broda. but mark my words, channels which will be available for the NWA beam from AB7 will be ones from Sudan, S. Sudan, Somali, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and the likes broadcasting totally in arabic. The ones that will be so irksome you'd always want to switch channels. I pray they prove me wrong , |
una leave d guy alone abeg, wetin. hee hee hee!!! |
@gadator: Ol' boy I am surprised that it would require a private response to a publicly requested post about the type of stb and tracking frequency kungu used to packing AB7! Even if he doesn't reply, gadator my man, I have confidence that you will hit the bird with your Strong stb if you've got a 3m solid dish while using any of the tps he posted. Don't worry. What matters is the requisite dish size for with time others will flood the forum with tracking freqs especially when lyngsat gets active with the sat. And as u usually conclude, Thank you. |
Make dem launch am too for Cameroon, den I think say I go comot eye for underground moves. |
One thing should be noted here, (and i say this with repect to Intelsat NewDawn) all these new satellites will continue to furnish the parts of the world which had been hitherto enjoying the best of fta with the best and those areas which were suffering fta wise when it comes to the goodies will continue to suffer. I await my being proven wrong. That is why I don't give a hoot about any new satellite despite all the noise and xcitement that may be generated with the shifts up down left right with displacements of transponders in the name of new satellites. When are we going to enjoy the use of 65 and 90 cm dishes? , |
Ellahdarrell:OR: many have may gotten what they wanted from the forum and have moved on to "better" things. |
swordswifter:Thankx, man. This means my lnb has a problem. It shows that it is working, but I don't know why all tps remain red. Have to look for another lnb and try out. |
Any one on AB3 please is that satellite on 'cos all my tps have gone red. Somebody help me out here! |
castlelink:Oga Castle: If you've read past posts on the forum you'd have gotten your response. I guess that must have been the reason why the ignore button became useful to those who may have ventured out to give you a reply. However, I guess with your 2.4m pan you can hit either of both birds conveniently although many stress on the fact that to be on the safe side, 3m will give you more leverage since bigger means better. had it been that your 2.4m was a mesh dish, you've had more problems with it. So, why not pick up the tracking frequencies from Lyngsat and go to work on the birds and tell us how you fare? Or, better still read back posts and see what the maestros have done with the tips on how to search. you can even do a search on the forum on Nilsesat101/102/201 or badr4/5/6 installations Have a groovy anticipated search |
Onto01:@Onto01: Even with a quality level as high as 75% for 12728v30000, the two MBC channels love taking breaks, going black from time to time. I hope they get to work on their emitters to jack up the quality of the channels. |
Onto01:@Onto01: That is how those MBC channels are behaving these days. Before, they were so stable. But now , Enjoy them from time to time. |
I Hacked:@I Hacked: Oga mee, how you dey? I beg eh abi na ku or C-band lnb wen I dey see for your photo? I also wanna know the channels that u succeeded in picking with both the 120cm and 90cm dishes. Finally, what is your location? You know that even with 180cm it is dificult catching the ku-band channels on AB3. So this should be a feat hitting AB3 ku-channels with 90cm. Please, confirm. |
Kungu:@Kungu: Thankx buv, for d great job ure doing. But, I think for us in Central and West Africa, we can start hooting hurray if and only if reception of signals from this baby bird is strong and easy, else, we will still be hanging in the twilight zone. |
D.lee:@D.lee Tank u very much ma broda. Been looking forward so very much to the comeback of Canal2 International. My guess is that the AB3 broadcast of these two is DVB-S2. It means that any moment from now Canal2 Inter will find its way back into the Astra4a fold. They broadcast from Douala, Cameroon. The quality is pretty high although my reception here is hitting 92. |
sathob:@Sathob: Hello man, how u dey? I may be wrong but if I am right then your above quoted post was made with reference to my post and if that is the case then you've got to read my post again. If I have to explain it to you then what I was implying is simply that if we do have fakes in strong decoders as Sophie mentioned in his post it is as a result of the fakes brought in by our dealers since we in Cameroon don't have a direct link with Strong outlets given that only Nigeria, Ghana and Zambia are thus blessed. About authentication of decoders, I was trying to help people as a result of my own xperience to get genuine boxes even when they go to buy not after they must have picked up a fake! I hope this will put pay to any other issues on this subject. have a nice day. |
Sophieamore1:Affirmative, sir! U’re right about that. Most of what we have here in the form of fta boxes are fakes courtesy of the naija guys who serve as dealers in these products given that they have access to the market plying the route Yaounde/Douala – Onitsha/Lagos. I don’t have to remind you that only 3 countries in Africa have official outlets for the sales of genuine Strong boxes and to the best of my knowledge cameroon is not one of them (naija, ghana and zambia) and until I got burnt by the after effect of box updating, I wasn’t aware of the difference between a fake and a genuine box, price is supposed to serve as the first give away for anyone intending to acquire any of these boxes. @All: If I am right, then without visiting the Strong-tech website to authenticate your strong 4669Xii box, just check on the serial number on he white patch on the derriere of your box. If you have 4669Xii then it is an original box. If it is 4669XII, shiiiiit, na … fake!! |
williams85:Hello big willy: For sure AB3 is close to Sirius and W3a or from NSS7, while standing behind your 1.8m move it to the left and slightly upwards. @All, ma baad, STV1 and2 from Douala are both wxing strong on AB3, it was just a temporal glitch. Thankx. |
, however the 12 transponders from (NWA BEAM) is for ku band broadband services. what does this mean?Internet services etc. there will be no tv channel on the NWA BEAM
